Buyer Beware… wish I had read these reviews beforehand.. but I was in a terribly vulnerable situation and needed to get plumbing issues corrected on a condo. I was remodeling in Miami where the contractor. Was months behind schedule.. I live in California so I had 10 days to get all the necessary work done without knowing any trades in Florida. To their credit, Roto Miami answered the phone gave me an estimated time for the plumbers arrival and followed through when Scott arrived. he contracted to do all the work for $1800 which I knew was at the high high end of pricing but I agreed because I had no working bathrooms or kitchen at this point…
Companies that take advantage of people in dire circumstances are lowest of the low in my book. Scott needed to return the next day to finish and there were some add-ons that I did not discuss pricing with him about and the next day when he finished he charged me additional $2000..
This included, leaving his trash in a heap in the bedroom, not using plumbers tape on the fixtures, there were 2 leaks which he came back and fixed, he left a gap around the vanity, so that I have to figure an additional way to seal it suggesting I add a backsplash, which I had no intention of doing… the man is pure nerve… and today when I called him after having time to look over the invoice and question two faucets being installed for $850… he had the nerve to tell me why did it take me two weeks to call him?
Don’t make the mistake I did avoid at all costs because it will COST you.
