Matt came by on very short notice and relocated our ceiling fan that was preventing the motor on our newly-installed ceiling lift from being able to move along the whole length of the rail. Matt had done work here as part of a VA renovation project before starting Rider Electric, so I was familiar with the quality of his workmanship, which is
excellent.

Matt cleaned everything up when he was done. The only reminder of where the old fan location was is a white blank cover, and the end result is beautiful. I can't thank Matt enough for getting this done before my husband comes home from the hospital.

One of my rental homes lost power to half the home during the holidays. Rider Electric answered the phone when I called. Even though most of their team was off for Christmas break the owner himself came out to fix the problem. I find the company to be timely, very trustworthy, and rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Meant to right this review months back. Their service is excellent, straight forward and upfront with pricing and labor. They helped us quickly get the repairs done to get power restored to our home. So thankfully for this great company!

Called Matt at Rider Electric due to some GFI breakers not working. He immediately came to our house due to us not having our water pump working! We had a line into the house die and Rider came out same day to evaluate and had it replaced a few days later. They were very informative on what was going on and what they needed to do. They were on time, priced very competitively and so nice to my mom with early onset dementia. Do not hesitate to call them for any electric needs you have.

We had 3 somewhat complex ceiling fans, multiple new LED recessed lights with new switches, 5 new outlets, some with USB and GFCI, and an office data pass-thru.
Matthew is thorough, friendly, and was patient with our scheduling.
The employees that showed up to our home (Eric and Dillon) were exceptionally skilled and completed every task. Both gentleman were respectful and detailed in their craft.
They cleaned ALL of their work areas which was appreciated.
I'd highly recommend hiring Rider Electrical on any upcoming residential or commercial jobs you may have.

Matt came over to give me an estimate to add a connection for a swim spa. I had recently had a shed installed with a sub panel and thought it would be easy. Unfortunately, the previous company did a terrible job and most of the work was not up to code. Matt and is team did the initial work to remove the immediate danger and will be bringing us up to code. I am thankful to have a honest and professional company I can trust.

Update: they completed all rework from the other company. The swim spa had some issues with the internal wiring that the spa company is sending someone out to fix. I am thankful that Matt and his team ensured everything was good. They could have connected it and left me with the unknown issue like the last company did since it would have taken another day to fill the spa and test it. Very happy with the professionalism!

We had Rider Electric add wafer lights in our guest bedrooms and move an outlet on our lanai. They gave us a very fair price, scheduled us quickly and performed perfectly. They cleaned up so thoroughly it was near impossible to see they had even been here.

Extremely disrespectful driver. Drives unsafe. Cuts off vehicles then blasts them with water from windshield. Then moved over got behind me and flashed high beams at me. This business already has low reviews so not suprised by reckless driving.
