Landscaping reviews in North Fort Myers, Florida

Just called and spoke to Jesse hoping to give him new business. Confirmed the number I called is from this google maps entry showing north fort myers right off i75. He proceeds to tell me he is in Cape Coral and that this google maps entry is 'weird' for showing his number. Tried to educate him on the ability to manage and correct this entry so he does not continue to receive unwanted calls. He laughed hysterically and hung up on me. Would love to see a reponse from the owner on this. I recommend avoiding this guy until he does.

Jesse’s customer service goes above and beyond. I recently had a baby and haven’t been able to keep up with the weeds in my garden. I asked Jesse to pull them as a one time charge and he offered to take care of them for the next couple months while I heal at no additional fee to my current lawn service. He’s always willing to do extra landscaping when asked and gives a very fair price. His prompt replies and communication is very hard to find when dealing with a lawn care company. I couldn’t recommend Surf and Turf enough!

We just came from Scotts. Kris laid out a plan for the plants that would go to the front area of our house within a matter of minutes. She understood our issues & concerns & had a good solution at a reasonable cost. We are confident that we will get the best service when the job gets done.

We wanted a couple of trees. Checked the big box stores that had a garden center (Lowe's, Home Depot, even Walmart) then two local nurseries (S Ft. Myers) without success... so we went on line and found two in N Ft Myers- our first was a bust as it was almost exclusively plants (nice but pricey) then we found Scott's. AMAZING- Joe could not have been more helpful knowledgeable, enjoys the business and genuinely wanted to help us without being pushy. We found a good selection of trees, excellent prices. We purchased a Triple Pygmy Palm and Podocarpus (Tree), a Hibiscus and three Crown of thorns. We opted for delivery and installation of the trees- Robbie arrived and was very helpful, courteous, efficient and neat. Scott's has become our "Go To" and referral for anyone looking for great product, good pricing, excellent service.

We took a trip to Scott's nursery in N. Fort Myers and spoke with Stephanie regarding a quote for landscaping design around our property. As requested, I emailed them photos, dimensions, and a total description of what we would like to have designed. After 3 weeks had past and a couple phone calls we, finally, received a quote which included only planting our raised planter beds. I asked why the rest of our design request was not included in the quote. We received an email reply that ...they were sorry, but that's all they could do right now. What??? Can't quite understand why we weren't told this initially? Although we wasted 3 weeks of our valuable time and held up other valid quotes that were submitted, it may have been a blessing in disguise if this is an indication of how this company operates!

My favorite garden center by far. Good selection, reasonable pricing, and friendly people. Most importantly, however, these folks are extremely knowledgeable and happy to help someone who is still adjusting to gardening and landscaping in SW Florida. I give them 5 stars!

What a great place to peruse and buy plants! Planting in Florida is still new to us. We welcome advice and assistance, as some of our plantings have failed.

Becky was our guide. She was patient and knowledgeable, as we stumbled through the conditions in our backyard. She described the preferred planting locations for each plant including their eventual size and preferred conditions.

So very very helpful. We told the girl (I wish I knew her name.) that we were looking for certain plants for a memorial for my grandmother. She knew exactly what to point us to, explained everything thoroughly, pointed us to others that would work for us as well, and was just all around amazing. We will definitely be back now that my husband is hooked on getting more shrubs and trees. Thank you! You have no idea how much it means to have helpful staff when you're struggling to keep it together. 😊

Very friendly, knowledgeable about plants, and great plants. Not cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. Went to Lowes and looked at same aloe plants. Scott's' we're much better looking. (I was buying a birthday gift. Plants were taller, fuller and less scars than Home Depot and Lowes.

I went with an open mind, looking for shade trees, but not gigantic ones.
I was directed to Buttonwood trees. I decided to get two Silver Buttonwood trees.
They are about 7-8 ft tall. Soft, silverish leaves. Fast growing, but only about 15 ft spread, when mature.

Can’t say enough about your guy, Dereck. He was knowledgeable and very professional. One of the hardest working men I’ve ever met. We love our new palms..also, thanks to Stephanie who was very helpful to us as we had never bought palms before. Highly recommend this nursery.

Very nice nursery. It is very organized, has a large selection of plants, and all of the plants look very healthy. Stephanie, one of the employees, helped us. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. We are planning on ordering a lot of plants from them.

The most helpful and knowledgeable landscape nursery around, went out of their way to find and order special plant I was looking for. Their on site selection is terrific, had plenty of everything else I was looking for and lots more and their prices were much better than most other places. I've been to several nurseries and haven't had as good an experience as I did at Scott's, they're the best. Will be my go-to place when I need anything for my landscaping from here on out.

Chris answered all my novice questions with patience and expertise on my purchase of an orange tree. Great selection of product and feel it is fairly priced. Went with a friend from Bonita who liked the place so much, they will now be coming here.

Very friendly, informative and courteous service. Large selection of beautiful healthy plants. You pick the plants, they load your cart and help with loading your vehicle. Great prices too. Scott’s is our new go to nursery!

I frequent Scott's twice a year to have my planters redone. They very pleasant, polite and extremely professional. Much more reasonable than the big outlets. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you are garden type inexperienced as I am!
