I recently had some tree work done including the removal of a 50-year-old large southern live oak in my backyard. I was quite impressed with their service and professionalism.

I reached out to several companies to request a quote but West Tree Service was the only company to respond relatively quickly. The other companies I contacted, took days to respond or never even responded at all, including the other tree company in the same plaza as West Tree Service.

Again, West Tree was the only company to show up when they said they would for the initial quote. Other companies told me my fence would need to come down, a crane could not be used for the job due to the location of the tree, or that it would be a 2-3 day job. West Tree assured me they would be able to use a crane even though the tree was in a hard to get to spot. They told me it’d only be a one-day job and that they would prevent any debris from falling onto the neighbor’s property.

They took care of the permitting and when the day arrived, the crew were on time and got to work immediately. They were very careful to avoid damaging any of my other trees, plants and fence. The tree was removed safely and efficiently and it only took them 3 ½ hours to cut it down. When they were finished with all the work, they made sure to clean up the area thoroughly.

It was based on the initial experience and communication that I decided to utilize the services of West Tree. Their pricing was fair and competitive and I was pleased with the results of the job. I would definitely use them again for future tree care.

I have used west tree service for all of my tree removal and pruning needs and they are great. All of the guys work hard and do a great job all while being respectful to everyone. It was also done at what I felt was a great price.

Excellent customer service, called them and they came out next day and gave us an estimate. The same day they had us scheduled for what we needed. The guys that came out very professional did an incredible job, cleaned up put things back that had to be removed to get the job done. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal experience. We had an emergency tree situation and they were on it! Excellent pricing, crew is super professional and friendly. Cleanup was the nicest our property has ever looked. Outstanding customer service. Equipment is quality and helps them make quick work of the job.

West Tree has always been my go-to tree removal service and I will continue to use them if the need arises. They are on time, complete the task efficiently, and clean up by removing all debris. The workers are respectful and courteous. However, this time there were two things that I feel need to be brought to the attention of the supervisor. One, I have a decorative wooden bridge approximately 5 ft. long that the men removed in order to allow room for the equipment. The bridge was placed under some bushes but was not returned to its original spot. I had to maneuver it back into place which, because of its weight, was no easy task at my age. Two, as the equipment was moving into my back yard, it apparently hit my satellite dish which is no where near the target trees. This has resulted in no reception on my TV’s. Perhaps someone could have advised the driver and warned that the equipment was too close to the roof. I have insurance protection on the dish and this can be rectified within the week. Again, I want to say that I am pleased with the result of the job and will be using this company again. Just be more mindful of the little things that will really put your company over the top!

Service was done well and promptly. My wife and I were happy with the results. Communication was a bit lacking, however.

They never responded to my initial email for a quote, however quickly responded once I filled out a second form on their website.

I didn’t realize they wouldn’t take debris same at the time of service. They told me a truck would come to pick it up. Being in an HOA controlled neighborhood I needed it removed promptly. The office assured me it should be done in 24 hours. It was actually more like 48 hours before removal occurred and there was a bit of random debris left win the spot they flicked up from.

All in all I would use West again, I will just organize with them in advance if debris removal timeliness if needed.

I am very disappointed with this company. They cracked our sidewalk, and I told them how my mom who is 80 lives with us and how she walks on that sidewalk. Apparently it's on their contract that they are not responsible for damages to the sidewalk. Always read your contracts. It's definitely sloppy work for them to damage the sidewalk.
