The Guy name is Carl Hoffman, who claims himself a veteran. We hired him to build drywall and install the door basically for the office area. He gave us a commitment that he will complete the work in 4 days. We paid him 50% of the amount initially to lock the contract, and he told us he will start the work from next day, we said that's great. The next day he did not show up until 1.00 PM, I called him to check where he is, and he responded by stating that his partner (Mike's motorbike is stolen, so he is helping him with legal ), then he and his partner showed up at 3.00 PM, they did some measurement and disappeared, I called him to check where are you. he replied he has left for the day. The next day he again same excuse. Now it was Monday, and he did not show up a whole day, I called him, he disconnected my call, I texted him, and he told me that his partner mike has disappeared my stealing his money, I was very patient till then, next day he brings his partner and did some work and again disappeared. I called him several times, but he did respond, now next day he text me that, he is performing a job that is very difficult, and he is having a hard time. My patient was exhausted till that time, I told him to leave, no need to come. Overall he is a liar/scammer. I would recommend not hiring this guy anymore.
