Very professional and knowledgable. I did a flooring and kitchen remodel with them. It was a big project and they did a great job. I will use them again for future work and I would definitely recommend them.

I had a terrible experience with this company. I tried calling, and before I could even finish explaining my issue, the lady from the office hung up on me. I called back, only to be sent straight to voicemail. It’s incredibly rude and unprofessional for a company to boast about their customer service when they can’t even handle a simple phone call. I’m very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Margarito and his crew at Freedom Village in Bradenton have done renovations at my home. They are very pleasant and efficient, and their work has always been quite satisfactory.

I called on June 2 to get an estimate for work to be completed. My name, phone number, and what I would like to get done were taken, and I was told an estimator would call me back in 1 week to give me a quote. 1 week passes without hearing anything. I call this morning and I was told they are in a company meeting and would call me back. I reach them just now and they said they are not accepting new business right now. This is not professional at all to tell someone a quote would be given and then a week later we aren't taking new business. That could have been told to me on the initial call.

When I voiced my opinion of their business practice, I was told "sorry you feel that way". Good luck!

CDS Contractors, Inc. is a very professional company. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing home renovation or repair. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we were very satisfied with their work, and always with courtesy and a smile.

At first everything seemed professional, I was WRONG! I had one of their contractors, Corey, come over and out of all the contractors who came to my house (I had 2 others as of the time), he was the most thorough and I was super excited to get started. I was informed that I would be receiving the estimate shortly. Two weeks go by, absolutely NOTHING. Corey finally followed-up and asked if I had time to review the estimate. I told him that I never received anything and he then informed me that the office stated I would have received it the day after he left. Apparently the Project Manager had been out, the Manager said they sent it out, etc. At the end, I NEVER received my estimate, I wasted my time texting Corey, and now I need to find new contractors when I was hoping that they would already be working on my house by now. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time with this company.

I recently found myself in search of a local contractor to help me perform major repairs to my home as a result of a water leak. After interviewing several well- known Central Florida contractors and not finding anyone willing to work under the restrictions of my homeowner’s insurance claim, I stumbled upon CDS Contractors. (I would later come to believe this was a result of divine intervention.)

From the moment that they showed up at my front door, they immediately put me at ease and made me feel they not only had the knowledge and expertise to bring my home back to its original condition, but could also help me maneuver around the unrealistic estimate I received from my insurance company. The team at CDS efficiently completed every aspect of my project, well exceeding my expectations. This included drywall repair, framing, mold mitigation, the removal and replacement of ceilings, and the removal and installation of my hardwood floors. But in addition, their experience in dealing with insurance companies resulted in them single handedly negotiating a fair settlement from my major insurance carrier so I could complete the repairs necessary – far from the initial check I received.

In today’s world, it is rare to find companies that are still service driven and care so deeply about their customers and their complete satisfaction. You may not be familiar with their name, but I promise you that if you choose to hire CDS Contractors to complete the work in your home, you will never forget what they did to earn your respect or the way they made you feel.

I was very pleased with Daniel and his employees throughout the entire process. They worked with us from start to finish; they were respectful of our house and even our dogs. I have been looking to remodel my kitchen, bathroom and flooring for some time. After receiving a recommendation and seeing their work, I decided to contact Daniel at CDS Contractors, Inc. and I’m glad I did!

My friend and I stopped by his office to check out the different type of cabinet doors they offered. I already knew I wanted the Shaker style in white. Daniel mentioned he had the Therma-Foil Cabinet doors in the white finish but in a different style. We also found out that they have employees that are skilled in installing countertops, flooring and roofing. So, after a few days I contacted Daniel. He came to my house listened to what I wanted, took the measurements and drew up the design. After making several changes I was ready to look for the type of countertop that would go with my flooring. I must mention, Daniel was very easy to work with and went out of his way to help me find the perfect countertop. I already had purchased my flooring, just needed someone to install it.

Once the cabinets were built the installation began.

The Project Manager “Daniel” was available throughout the entire project, by telephone, email, text and came on site on several occasions. The project took longer then planned, but when it was all done it turned out absolutely beautiful!

I found this family owned business (CDS Contractors, Inc.) to be fair, reasonable, always taking care of the little things that make a difference, going the extra mile and ensuring the details are well polished. Their employees from the deliverers, demolishers, cabinet makers, installers, plumber, Quartz fabricator, flooring installer, detailers and painters were all OUTSTANDING! Viviana the painter was awesome!!

I reached out to CDS after seeing them on the BBB site; I needed a roof and they had great reviews. Worked with George and got a quote and selected them as my vendor. George was supposed to stop by to answer final questions and meet us (as everything had been done via phone and email), but cancelled at the last minute. The following day I got a text saying they couldn’t do my roof. I pushed back, as I’d turned down other vendors once we confirmed with CDS, and got a vague answer. I also said that I found it strange to just text me vs picking up the phone.

Even throughout the quoting process, George came across as short. This is my first roof replacement, and I explained that. I had questions about shingles and warranties and George just either wouldn’t reply or would say borderline rude remarks suggesting I look up the shingle warranty, when in fact I was asking something not answered there.

My points are that (1) talking to customers as if they are stupid is not great service. Good customer service is guiding a customer, answering questions, and understanding that you are the expert, not them. George wasn’t blatantly rude but absolutely seemed inconvenienced that we had questions.

(2) Bailing on a job with no explanation via text is downright unprofessional.

I was looking for a contractor I could eventually give more work to, but clearly CDS doesn’t need my business.

We had our bathrooms and kitchen re done last year. We contacted Danny and he came out and did the measurements, made suggestions, and had plans drawn up in no time. The granite guys were awesome! If we needed or need something, we can call and they come out. Excellent craftsmanship. We highly recommend this company for your remodeling needs.

Daniel and his team were so wonderful to work with. We had new flooring put in and a new picture window glass. They did wonderful work and I was very pleased with their people and how well they knew their craft.. I would definitely recommend CDS to all my friends and family.

I recently had a water damage issue in my home and had to file an insurance claim. Unfortunately due to the water leak, mold remediation had to be done, then drywall, backsplash, a bathroom cabinet had to be replaced. I decided to use CDS contractors services because of a recommendation from a friend.

CDS contractors were great. They were with me thru the entire process. They were almost always available when I had any question and even at times they were not, they returned my phone calls within a reasonable amount a time, usually within the same day.

They ensured that all work done to my home was done exactly the way I wanted it. The work done to my home was excellent. The workers were skilled and gave the attention to detail to ensure that everything was done correctly. I highly recommend CDS contractors to anyone looking for work done to their home.

CDS redid my apartment and it looks great! They really made a special effort to make it just what I wanted. Asked me through out the process about things that needed to be done and the choices I could pick from. I am so happy with my beautiful apartment and with there concerns that I be completely happy - even after I had moved in, they stopped by to see if I needed them to check anything or if I had run in to any problems. Needless to say I’m very pleased with their work and the workers who were on my project!

CDS has been my go to general contractor for two years. They have done mold removal, dry wall repair, kitchen remodel as well as adding ceiling fans to my aluminum roof on my patio. Every task has been assigned to skilled craftsmans and I have been totally pleased after each repair/upgrade. I will definitely contact CDS for my next upgrade/repair home project.

I called several roofing companies to give me an estimate to re-roof my house. There was nothing wrong with my roof other than age . I wanted to get the jump on my insurance company perhaps not renewing my policy, since that seemed to be a concern according to the news.Most companies would only do the job if they could go through my insurance company. A red flag as far as I was concerned. I wanted to pay for it myself, as it was my responsibility. I found CDS Contractors, inc. ,by chance. The owner, Steve met with me immediately and we hit it off. He appeared very knowledgeable, accommodating, and interested in my needs. He was compassionate and took notice of my concerns and assured me he could do the job to my satisfaction. We proceeded immediately with the written estimate and permits and the material was delivered in record time. The job was started and completed without a hitch. I was so impressed by this man and his company, I have already started a second estimate for another job.I would definitely recommend this company.

I called several contractors some show up don't give an estimate some don't show up at all. CDS came through and I'm very happy.
We had a rocky start with scheduling, project managers and crews but a personal visit from the owner himself meant to me he cares about his clients which shows class.
Even months after the work was done there arose some issues and once again a visit from the owner with his personal guarantee and he held up his end of the bargain and came through once again.
I would definitely recommend and most definitely use again for sure.
