UPDATE 6/12/2018: Wow. Katie Harris seriously came through and restored my faith in Harris and customer service in general. Within 3 hours of my review on their Facebook page she called me to make it right and went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. I had a pallet of quality sod in my driveway when I got home from work (on the same day of my review!) and it was a beautiful sight to see! I will undoubtedly be giving Katie a call to give Harris my future business when I am ready to sod the rest of the back yard. THANK YOU!!!!

I contacted them on Thursday, June 7, 2018 to check on the price for a pallet of sod to be delivered. They immediately gave me a quote and said they had one available for delivery the next day, Friday, June 8. By 4:30 on Friday I checked with them in to see when it would be delivered and they said they got behind schedule so it will be there on Saturday, June 9th. On Saturday I checked in at 10:30 AM to see if there was an estimate on what time they would be there so I could move my car out of the way... "by 2 PM". I run some errands, return at 5:30 PM, and guess what? No sod. So 2 days of no call, no show (I shouldn't have to reach out to check in if something is coming as promised or not). It is really disappointing; they are highly recommended and I would love to have kept business local but it's hard to do that when the business doesn't deliver. I don't know if it is a communication issue on their end between management and the delivery guys or what the deal is, but I set aside most my weekend to lay sod, and to never receive it is just bad business.

Their lawn care is impeccable. The workers are very professional and the service is top quality. They also offer sod installation and irrigation. I highly recommend this business. They're service all over Orange county!

Harris Landscaping Services are great at what they do! They can do any landscape job needed. They recently did work for us and we loved their service overall! Great communication and ever better work. 10/10

Their work is stellar and the customer service that they also bring to the table is also amazing. It’s been hard to find a great group who can take care of your lawn as well as be very attentive and detailed, and this company does not lack in that area at all! Absolutely love this group, not one person is better than the next, every person is great across the board!

I just wanted to say what a positive experience I've had over the years, regarding various projects with Harris Landscaping. Ken and Kyle Harris have a tremendous knowledge of landscaping needs. Kyle was a consummate professional who was one of the only landscapers in the area who was not only responsive, but quick to provide a quote and was available within a reasonable time frame.

His team showed up a little late, but got to work immediately and were quick and efficient. I had requested a stump ground down, topsoil laid, some irrigation additions, and finally Zoysia sod placed. Kyle was attentive enough to let me know that the sod was being freshly cut, so there would be a delay of one day, which was completely understandable. The sod looked great, and Kyle came to inspect the work himself.

Finally, Kyle had two of his foreman stay behind till the end and instruct me as to the watering schedule, cut height, and temperament of the new lawn. they then inspected my lawnmower and made adjustments to properly cut the lawn when time. It was a great experience and i will be using them again in the future for any of my needs.

Not to mention, a month later and my new lawn looks amazing.

Very professional and hardworking crew! They did a great job removing a fallen tree in my yard after the storm. I would highly recommend their services.

Update: Kyle reached out to me about making things right. Just met with him to talk about finalizing things and I'm optimistic that it will be finished soon. I will update again on completion.

Original review: I really liked Kyle a lot and he gave us a good price on a fairly large job that we saved up for. The level of excellence in their execution was low.

There are still things they haven't fixed even after multiple conversations with them to complete them. They didn't replace items they threw out. Our irrigation system still doesn't cover the lawn and has dead spots. Some of the heads were placed in a way that spray up into our covered porch area and leave a green algae all over.

I was really hoping their team would pull through because I enjoyed them on a personal level. Wish this worked out differently.

Just bought some poinsettias here today along with the cutest little honey bears (the honey is local!). The young man who helped me was so kind and attentive and helpful!!! He was outstanding!

Kyle Harris (owner) is a friendly guy that is as sweet as he is helpful. It feels great going to a place like this. I was needing some sod and he happened to have some left over from a job. I laid it myself since it was a small area and it's doing great!

I would give them zero stars if that were an option. I have had a truly terrible experience with Kyle and his company. They agreed to do my yard maintenance and re-design my front and back yard. I then expected Harris Landscaping to start maintenance and they never showed....after countless calls they came out once to do my yard maintenance, and never, ever, ever came back. No call, no response, nothing. Each time I'd call their office the receptionist would assure me someone would contact me soon. No one did. Truly the WORST yard company I've ever seen.

I hired Harris Landscaping to do some dirt work next to my driveway. They needed to move and haul away the dirt so I could extend my driveway and add retaining walls. The estimate I received matched exactly what I asked them to look at. Once we set a date/time, the team showed up ahead of schedule. They walked through the project one more time so that everyone knew what they were doing then they got to work. Unfortunately, the old owners had the main water line in a bad spot so it was hit while moving the dirt. The Harris team quickly and calmly got the water off and even fixed the pipe for me. (side note, the pipe was above the driveway level in my yard, it should have been way deeper than it was so it was not their fault).

Once fixed, the team moved on and got the work done. I would recommend using Harris Landscaping. I will be certainly calling them for additional work in the future.

An old family landscaping business that has evolved to a nursery as well with an atmosphere you can hang out in. Super cute coffee shop run by a young married couple, and some delicious food trucks. There is some seating in the coffee shop and bit more in the garden/nursery area. I'll definitely be back!!!

We had a great experience with Harris Landscaping! Kyle was always quickly available for any questions I had during the planning process and their price was fair. We met with many companies before deciding on Harris and many never even called us back after coming out but Kyle was always readily available. Their price was fair and included a wide variety of plants and sod for our backyard renovation. The workers arrived on time, were friendly and knocked the project out in two days and it’s an amazing transformation! We can’t wait to enjoy our summer out there with the kids. We hope to redo our front yard landscaping next year and will definitely be calling Harris back!

Update: This year they charged me $100 for the same tree. So never mind.

Just got a beautiful, fresh cut, 7 ft Christmas tree here for $50! They also have a lovely selection of poinsettias. I highly recommend for fair prices and friendly service.

I have had nothing but compliments on the magnificent rose garden you planted for me. The yard looks fantastic. You came out a couple of times afterward to answer some questions and make sure the irrigation system was working. I would definitely hire you again. Thanks for a great job.

Harris Landscaping worked as a team to finish a total redo of a sixty year old yard beyond expectations. I was informed about every step and they provided good information about care and maintenance. The job came in on time and in budget. A big shout out to Kyle Harris for being on site every day. This was not a large yard but it was treated with the same respect as an Augusta green. We hired Harris Landscaping Services to do a complete yard make over that included; Irrigation system installation, new french drains, landscape design with new sod, paver sidewalk & pool deck. They did an outstanding job. They are very professional, responsive and communicate well. They don’t do residential monthly lawn service but they certainly exceed at their work!

I cannot speak highly enough of Kyle and his crew at Harris. We did a complete make over of our yard. While we kind of had an idea of what we wanted/envisioned , Kyle and his team perfectly created a masterpiece, in a time period I did not think would be possible.The work was excellent and the results are amazing. In addition Kyle is very responsive. No question is too trivial. Harris Landscaping are true craftsmen and experts in their field. Highly recommend!
