I had my initial lawn maintenance done. Very impressed with their work ethic. They came over and completed the work in spite of the rain.

Quality of work is great as well. After working several hours the tech was able to clear up a lot of overgrown hedges leaving behind a very aesthetic landscape.

Called for an appointment to get a quote to repair my lawn, they gave me a date and time. They never showed up for the appointment, nor did I even get a call saying they were canceling.

Save yourself the headache and money. Just so you know there is a 3 cut minimum before you can cancel slipped into the agreement. I've tried canceling seeing as I was not satisfied with my first cut and no longer needed the service as I have my own lawn equipment now. Each time I get the same answer "We can't cancel but we can reschedule to 6 months later" I didn't want to reschedule, I want to cancel. Been going through this since March of this year. It is now August. Cancel my subscription. I will be getting in contact with my lawyer to see what legally can be done. I'm over playing the reschedule game. To anyone thinking about trying them out just don't. You'll save yourself a lot of wasted time, wasted money, and save yourself a massive headache.

Harold and his team give my lawn the professional level of service that I can rely on. I don't have to worry about whether they'll show up or when - the app keeps me informed and lets me know if the cut has to be rescheduled due to weather. You just can't beat the combination of professional service and peace of mind.

I think they have done 3 excellent mowings that I have record for. Lawn started billed for a fourthwhich did not look like there was an extra mowing. but I was not once and requested pictures, I never got pictures, so I had to return to my residence the lawn was not cut and it might have been a paperwork mistake. The lawn mowing service showed up 2 daysafter I was home and serviced the lawn by mowing. He did a great job and even cleared my walkway. I am 63 and have difficulty with the walk way and he made it so much better for me to come and go from my home. I Would recommend him and this service to all my friends and family

EDIT: I increased the rating from 1-star to 3-stars. Customer service made it right, but I still have a lot of work ahead of me.

Lawnstarter sent a crew out to my house to do cleanups that included bagging the clippings. The crew came out and offered a price, which I asked if they could do a rush service and they increased the original quoted price by $20. I'm fine with paying extra for rush service.

The cleanup was supposed to be cleanup to the edge of the property line with bagging of the clippings. However, due to rain and lightning the lawn technician had to stop early. I'm okay with this because safety is important and you shouldn't mow wet grass.

However, 2 days passed and no one returned to finish the job; then I received notification that my lawncare service had been completed with only 2/3 the back yard done and none of the clippings bagged. I was advised that a crew would be dispatched the next day to fix and they opened a fix ticket.

The crew came out and it looks like they cut it, but they didn't bag the clippings. I raked the clippings into clumps for bagging and in the process realized that there are chunks of grass that had simply been matted to the ground and not touched at all.

Had I realized that the results would be this bad then I would have invested $50 into a good scythe then cut and bag the grass myself.

Benjamin was very professional gave me any information that I needed in order to move forward I definitely appreciate the promise and the arrival and how quickly they got my lawn looking beautiful again I will be using them for more services and I hope they send Benjamin every time

I really don't thrive on giving bad reviews but it has been constant horrible service. It never fails a holiday the week before and after multiple 😞 cancelations! Hit or miss on someone showing up to do the work. Their solution $15 dollar discount for the month! One to three times ok.. but consistently getting discounts because not showing up or poor service 😕! I will say that for a min it was wonderful! But that was soo long ago! We are awaiting for the service prior to Memorial weekend to be completed to this day! Here is what my lawn looks like! We complained all we get is excuses and delays! Sorry I am loyal to those worthy!! We will not be continuing service with lawnstarter!

LawnStarter has been a lifesaver. I struggle to find energy to do my own lawn and yard maintenance. Time is money and we don’t have enough time to do these things. This company does not take accountability for property damage that is done by their vendors. The negligence and carelessness and lack of willingness to own up and fix what has been damaged is appalling. Not only did one of their vendors cut only half of my grass in the back, but broke a sprinkler head and now will not, fix it due to me. Emailing them a picture in the timeframe that they wanted. My mother almost died while this incompetent vendor came to our house to do a job that should have helped us not be as stressed in such a trial time but all they did was add more stress to a family that is trying to live through medical changes that alter all of our lives. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this company and better believe that they will not be recommended to anyone that I come across. This company is practicing now intention practices, and they obviously do not care about their customers and would rather cover up for the vendors that they use, have no regard for property or proficiency in their job. Again this company is unwilling to be held accountable for damage to a sprinkler head that was done by their vendor. The sprinkler was broken on the very next day. I contacted them about the damage and sent a picture of the sprinkler head. But because I fail to submit a second picture while my mother is fighting for her life and a hospital bed is so disheartening. Is disheartening that we have less and less compassion for people who are just trying to get through each day.

My lawn pro David, always comes a day early. Which means it’s always cut for my weekend activities Outside. I feel David goes above and beyond. He edges my fence area, my front yard area, my patio area, and if the grass is higher than usual, he’ll rake it up and put it in a black bag. I feel that’s above and beyond. I do tip him a 20% gratuity after Service. I would highly recommend Lawn starter. And David. Thank you the Kilbrides
