My car broke down on the side of a busy road and three of the grasshopper landscape gentleman came and pushed me to safety. I am so very grateful to Eduardo, Angel, and their third associate who helped for being the quality human beings that they are. Thank you!

Michael was very professional and timely in providing excellent service. When there was an issue with the pump he quickly came over to investigate abd had the pump replaced within days. He then called to follow up to make sure everything is working well. Thank you for excellent service

Amazing service and quick response to email. Shrubs have never looked this good since I bought this house 23 years ago. The most blooms I have had on my crepe myrtles! The color for the replacement azaleas is beautiful. Trust me, I will be calling them in the December to set up a spring trimming.

The team is very friendly but there are some things that were not properly explained and thus resulted in a negative experience. It's important to know a few things before you decide to move forward with this company, here was my experience.

I was seeking irrigation quotes and Grasshoppers was one of the companies I looked into. The professionalism, explanations, quality all seemed top notch. I was informed during the estimate and visit that projects were about 6 weeks out and also down payments were required in order to be scheduled. After shopping around I decided to move forward and provided my down payment to be scheduled.

A few days later I called to check in as I had not heard back and was informed by the office that schedules were not created yet and that I should be hearing back. A few days passed, this didn't happen. I called back and was informed again that I would be hearing back. I was notified that schedules still were not created.

I called back again, and was informed my name was still not schedule. I began wondering why, when down payment was provided as explained, I still was not able to get a date even roughly 2 weeks later. There wasn't an answer I was given aside from what's your info, well check and call you back. After several rounds with the office I explained that I needed a date otherwise I'd be pulling out and wanting my money refunded. This did get their attention and the rep did personally contact me after this to explain that they do not provide dates until the week of the project because they've essentially been burned in the past by scheduling people ahead of time and people needing to change dates resulting in them having open slots during the week.

My first thought was-why this was never explained and instead I was just generally informed that to be scheduled a down payment was required? I did not understand the logic behind that, nor do I understand if this was common practice why wasn't the office able to explain it any of the times I called them? My next thought was, isn't that a risk in almost any business involving people and appointments/reservations?

I ended up pulling out and requesting my down payment be returned, the company was very prompt in this so I definitely appreciated that as it was not a small amount. I can't say I've heard of a company not able to schedule you especially when they're holding a portion of the payment before even doing any work. And for projects that might be in depth it would be nice to be able to make sure the client can have the day off work/clear their schedule to be around.

If people needing to change dates is that much of a concern then perhaps Grasshoppers should consider adding some form of clause where if dates are changed within x time frame a portion of deposit is kept or something to help discourage this apparent issue they have. But I certainly do not recommend doing that because that lacks understanding that sometimes life happens and plans need changing and is not very customer oriented.

Anyways, that was my experience. Unfortunately I never got behind experiencing the sales team and the office team since I was never able to be given a date for my project to begin. Hopefully your experience is better and knowing that scheduling is not straightforward with them will help set your expectations correctly.

We love our new landscaping in front of our house. They were easy to work with and very responsive and reasonably priced.

I live in Lake Gloria Preserve, a gated community. Grasshoppers maintains all the common areas and keeps our community looking really professionally landscaped. I spoke with Sage not too long ago and told him how great the community looks. They do a wonderful job.

If it had 10 stars, I would’ve given them 10 stars good workers, friendly knowledgeable. The owner was great. They did what they were asked to do. My front lawn. Looks unbelievable the Landscaping great.

We wanted to landscape our entire front yard but had significant issues with drainage and erosion that had to be addressed. The drainage was especially challenging due to the volume of water from the roof and location of the downspouts. We wanted one company that could take care of all the issues in one job and guarantee its work. Mike came up with excellent solutions and was able to problem-solve along the way. Also his landscape design was what we were looking for. We are very satisfied with the results and feel fortunate that we found a company with the right experience that stands by its work.

I could not be more impressed with this company! Their work was meticulous and extremely well done. More importantly, the drainage solution thatMike designed works perfectly! Also, and I wasn't expecting this, the crew put all of the landscaping back in place exactly the way it was before they started digging. I expected a chopped up yard at the end of this and instead, you can't even tell they were here. Well, except for the incredibly effective drainage system they installed! You definitely want to speak with Mike. You will be glad you did.

Working with Grasshoppers on our recent tree removal was a positive experience. Isaiah, in particular, was conscientous and delivered exactly what was promised, including in scheduling, communicating with us, and seeing the job through to completion.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Grasshoppers Team! They do phenomenal work & have always been a pleasure to work with! I specifically talk with Jessica Belkey and she is great. She is very easy to work with and comes up with creative ideas for the events we partner together for!

Also, want to recognize Sage Spear (no relation). I met Sage today while he was treating the HOA common areas. Great attitude, extremely polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and he did a super job on fertilizing, weed control and treating for fire ants.

We had a major landscaping redo, and used grasshopper. I can highly recommend them, and especially Sage, who was our project manager. He responded very quickly to any questions I had, came out to the house numerous times to check on the work, and made sure that I was 100% satisfied. We are truly grateful that he helped us with this project.

Had them out to do some drainage work a few years back, which basically saved our house during the recent hurricane. Just brought them back for more drainage work, irrigation and landscaping after a new pool got put in. Sage and his crews were always responsive and punctual, even working around my ever changing schedule and scope of work. 1000% recommend, don’t even bother getting other quotes!

I just wished I would have found Grasshoppers earlier.
I wasted good money, and a couple of years using a couple of more well known companies to weed and feed my yard.
I really didn't see much improvement but heard a lot of excuses from them.

When Sage from Grasshoppers first came out he explained what was going to do (I'd heard it before) and did it.

It took a couple of months but my yard looks great and Sage has kept it in shape.

The only down side is I keep calling him Gage.

I had a drain installed to divert rain run off and had portions of my lawn re sodded.

Mike Williams came out and talked me through what Options Grasshoppers could provide. During the project there were several issues that arose. Mike was quick to respond and he and the team of workers worked hard to get the issues resolved. I am very pleased with the results.

I would recommend this company for any of the services they provide.

I’ve been working with Mike Williams and his team for months engineering a solution for a major drainage issue on my project. We recently concluded the first phase of the project and I cannot rave about this guy enough.

Ever since I bought my home, other companies have been trying provide me with “solutions” to my problem that would ultimately been a massive waste of money for me. Mike is the first person who has dedicated actual time and effort into giving me legitimate advice. He is an obviously busy guy but he still takes the time to stop by my house to discuss solutions, answer my questions, and ensure the job is tailored to exactly what I want and NEED. He does what he can to ensure the job is affordable and effective. If there are any hiccups, as there are in every job, he immediately steps in and offers solutions. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and his team does really great work.

I am honestly embarrassed that it has taken me this long to leave a review. I will continue to utilize Grasshopper Landscaping as long as I’m in the Orlando area.
