Freedom Power

I really have to give praise to the individuals that I communicated with during this process because to make the decision to go solar is a big one. It takes clarity and detail information to arrive to that point. Freedom explained their side of the business and my responsibilities then everything fell into place…Antonio and Francia.

A total deception, 174 days have passed since I signed the contract and the interconnection still has not been made. The communication is terrible, if you don't call them, forget it, this company won't even try to do it. I have already paid two months of the loan without receiving any service, every time I call them they excuse themselves and say that they will compensate me for the poor service received but it remains just words. During the sales presentation they brag about the company's great attributes and how committed they are to customer service, but the reality is that everything they say is far from the truth. Never in my life have I felt so disappointed and so helpless, if I could cancel everything I would have already done it.

So not sure what happened, but my experience has not been that of others. I am, however, hopeful that it will improve. Initially, all was rolling smoothly and as expected. Install started on time and was quick and efficient with a very courteous crew. The city inspection was done promptly, but then the ball was dropped. Freedoms tech told me all was well, and FPL needed to do their interconnect inspection, and we could turn on the solar. The problem is freedom did not submit a one-line diagram with my interconnect application which I am sure they know is required with any battery backup system, so that made for approximately a two-month hold-up in getting things completed and turned on. Now that my solar is finally turned on, 19 of my 39 panels are not working. Now are they just not connected, or is there another problem? Well, I don't know, and Freedom can't get a technician to me for about a week. So once again, I am waiting and paying FPL and for the solar that is not working yet, making it like paying two electric bills simultaneously. I have let them know my frustration and my paying a hefty monthly fee because of them, but do they offer any money back or even try to expedite things, not at all!
