Dishwasher leaking and not turning off. First visit he told us there is nothing wrong with it. Told us we needed to read the manual!
2nd visit: decided he needed to "order a part" said the bottom drawer was stuck because the floor was warped. I went online to figure out how to remove the drawer to find power cover up and broken and that was why the drawer wouldn't close. He came back with "the part" which was a hose. I told him the hose not leaking, coming from inside the drawer, he did not realize that !!! "I do not think I am going to be able to help you with this" No kidding! he did not have a clue! Will also try to report him to BBB. Buyer beware.

Called on Saturday. Message said they would contact on Monday. Got phone call around 11:00 explained problem Dan was here in 20 minutes. After checking dryer found electrical problem on 240 volt line. He needed a part, returned properly and replaced electrical box and cord to dryer. Everything works. I had a dishwasher acting up. Had seen Dan's truck around town and wanted to hire someone local. I left a message, repeating my phone number twice, on his voicemail last Friday afternoon. It said if it was a weekend to possibly expect to not receive a call back until Monday. It being a dishwasher, I thought, "no big deal".

It is now the following Wednesday night and still no call back. A lot of hand washing of dishes for a family of five! I gave up on Dan Monday night and called the manufacturer who was scheduled to come today to repair it. However, luckily I was able to resolve the problem myself by reading the technician's repair manual on the internet and running some diagnostics and resets. If you need a quick response, maybe you shouldn't call Dan Demers.

Dan came out to fix our dryer that was not running at all. He gave a time he was coming and came about an hour later with out any heads up. So my husband had to leave and he had to finish up on his own. When we returned home to run the dryer it still did not work. So we called him and told him that it still wasn’t working and if you could call us back to come out again as soon as possible. Five days later and we still didn’t hear anything, even though my husband left multiple voicemails and called multiple times. So I decided to try on my phone number to see if he’s answer from my phone number and he answered on the first try. He acted shocked that it was me and then said he had been really busy, even though it’s been over a week since he been to our house. I asked him if he even checked before he left to make sure it worked and he didn’t respond but told me that it’s probably something he didn’t screw on tight enough so he came back fixed it and left. Yes he got the job done that with horrible. And purposeful avoidance of communication and obviously didn’t check his work before he left. Just be careful if you choose him.

Dan was my appliance repairman of choice when he lived in TN. Now that he's in FL I miss him when I need repairs 🤣. He is honest, reliable, and hard working. You all are lucky to have him!

Dan converted my natural gas dryer to propane. He was quick, reasonably priced and friendly service. I would definitely recommend Dan Demers.

Dan came out and fixed my heating element on my dryer the same day I called. He told me the price beforehand and judging by the amount of work he did, it seemed fair. He was very polite and I would recommend his company to anyone looking for repair work.

We communicated by phone, where I relayed the problem. He gave me his cell number, and I sent him pics of the identifying parts of our washer. Sure, it was a few days before he could get to me, but he was honest with his schedule. He arrived within a reasonable period (20 min) after he said he would — sometimes previous repairs in the day run long, people, so be prepared!

He came in, popped the top off the washer and spotted the problem part (inlet value cluster) wet with water right away. A quick trip to his truck and within 10 minutes he had the part changed and everything reassembled. We put in a load and no leak.

Boom. Done.
