David and team did an amazing job today installing a generator outlet at my place. He was very quick to visit and provide an estimate. A short time later his crew was here and got the work done. They did a great job, very clean work and met every expectation! I highly recommend this company!!

I used this company for some yard light repairs that I had been trying to get fixed for months on a wait list with another company. Sunrift got me on their list and the owner David came out and had it done in 30 minutes! I’m so happy to have the lights ready Christmas. This is a local, family and Christian owned business and I’m always in support of that. If you need commercial, residential new construction or remodeling light work done give them a call. They hang new lights and also install and repair pool lights. They service Parrish, Bradenton and Sarasota areas

Sunrift Electric owner David is a refreshing exception among the many contractors in the Lakewood Ranch area. David is fair, professional, on-time and performs exceptionally high quality electrical work. His company installed landscape lighting, pool sconces, and an outdoor music system for me. I have been so disappointed with others that I hired for work, but David performs quality work that I never need to clean up after.

Tonight we are enjoying a colorful and cheerful kitchen, thanks to Curtis and Alec from Sunrift Electric. They arrived right on time, and went right to work. This new light system complements our lanai lights perfectly. Curtis and Alec were polite and respectful, and we already have them returning soon to complete another electrical project. Curtis, was very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and clearly knew what he was doing. I hired him to install a ring camera & ring doorbell. The owner of this company delivered the necessary part and my tech installed it, which corrected my issue immediately. I highly recommend Sunrift Electric for knowledgeable techs and great pricing. There was a manufacturing issue with the lanai lights they placed. Long story short after 3 attempts to correct the issues, Dave and his team replaced the lights with a different brand.

Sunrift Electric delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. David and his team handled my pool cage lighting, outdoor speakers and a custom power install for my outdoor kitchen, and they made the entire project feel effortless on my side. They completed everything in a single day, and the crew was both highly professional and genuinely enjoyable to have around. They worked clean, stayed organized and treated my home with real care.

Their attention to detail really stood out. They went up into the attic to run the speaker wires exactly the way I wanted, with a clean drop into a closet, and the final result looks like it was built into the house from day one. Honestly, it looks better than what my original builder did when we built the home. They also took the time to walk me through the outdoor lighting software and made sure everything was fully set up before they left.

I was also impressed by how reliable and accommodating they were. They scheduled the job and showed up the day before Thanksgiving, which is almost unheard of. Who does that? Most people are mentally checked out and ready to fall into a turkey coma before the turkey even arrives. Thanks to them, with guests coming over this weekend, my backyard is now the envy of the neighborhood.

David works right alongside his crew, and it is clear they respect him and take pride in the work they do together. You can tell he has built something special in this company by the way the entire team carries themselves. They treated me with respect the whole way through. And my eight-and-a-half-month-old German Shepherd puppy absolutely adored them. They were incredibly patient with her excitement, and they even made sure she stayed safe from metal shavings while they were drilling into the pool cage. That level of care is rare to find in 2025.

I originally met Sunrift when they were contracted to install the panel for my pool system. When it came time for this next phase, I got several quotes, but Sunrift was the only company that could handle everything in one coordinated visit. Most others could do one or two parts of the project, but not all three. Sunrift came prepared to manage the speakers, the power and the low voltage LED lighting together, and the result was exactly what I hoped for.

So to wrap up this grateful message on Thanksgiving morning, during the quiet before the storm, today I give thanks for Sunrift. I wouldn’t choose another electrician again. They’ve earned a customer for life. Thank you David and the entire Sunrift team.

Excellent customer service! From the initial meeting for a quote on the work we needed, it was easy to see this is a company built on integrity. Throughout the process, we were educated on solutions for our needs and felt no pressure in making decisions. It was great to have guidance in an area we are unfamiliar with (landscape lighting). All work (landscaping, new receptacle and hot tub hook up) was completed on time and by a crew that worked incredibly well together. The communication between the team members and with us as homeowners was professional and respectful. We have additional projects coming up and wouldn't think of using anyone else.
