This company has vastly changed their customer service and repair experience from the last time I had an issue. This time it was a more prompt response and they quickly got a technician scheduled to come.
The technician who came out here, George, was very thorough and explained all the fixes that were made. Total 180 from the last time!

In all this has been an excellent experience for us. The people from sales to installation have been very engaged and professional. They have taken care of every detail and kept us in the loop every step of the way. The installation people explained every detail of the installation and consulted us on the final layout before starting.We are excited to see the end result when we are switched to solar energy. I would definitely recommend ESD for your energy needs.

Just finished an 11.3KW project with these guys and I'm very satisfied with the results. The install was super clean, no exposed conduit or anything on the roof. Hernando County was very slow, but ESD was extremely responsive during the process. There was a small hiccup, and ESD made it right (and then some), and did so very quickly.

Special thanks to Matt Taylor, my sales guy, for getting me top-tier products at a great price; and Olivia, who handled all my questions and corrected one issue for me. They were both very responsive and professional.

Definitely give these guys a call if you're considering solar!

Jorden was absolutely phenomenal. Explain the whole process to me. Told me what was wrong, explain to me how he fixed it then set up my account on my phone and showed me how everything worked. He was very very helpful and took a very stressful situation and made it a very easy one. I look forward to working with Jordan in the future. He is definitely an asset to your company.

With all the solar companies out there it’s extremely difficult to determine which one is legitimate.
After doing my research, I feel I found the one.
A comparative price along with honest sales representative, Mason Kelso, made me comfortable with my purchase. The sales team stayed with me every step of the way. They made sure all my questions were answered. When I began to feel buyers remorse, as we all feel during a large purchase, was there to remind me of my why and put my fears to rest.
This ESD has done a fantastic job and I’d choose them again!

Pedro was very thorough. Clearly he demonstrated his technical ability in just moments being on site, diagnosing the problem and because I don’t know enough about the equipment, he explained every step in what he was doing. He arrived on time no waiting) estimated his duration and kept under that time. He was pleasant during the whole process. The company gets the credit also for recognizing talent. This process started about a year ago after Hurricane Milton. The insurance company denied our claim but when I outsourced to assess the damage ESD (Leon in particular) suggested that I get a lawyer involved and provided me with an attorney recommended partner. He also advised that it could take a while to get the repair done but it will get done. Over the course of a year the lawyers worked a payoff from the insurance company. After the funds were in place, the new roof was installed in less than 24 hours.

Jordan was very professional, explained everything he was going to do before he went up on the roof. He also took the time to show me where to find things on my app. and explained everything so I could understand. I highly recommend Jordan, he is a caring and thorough employee of your company! He was very respectful, efficient, and quick with what he had to do....I apologize for forgetting the gentleman's name but I do know he came all the way from Columbia SC and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the company working around my schedule...We still on the fence about moving forward with this process, but things have been smooth thus far......

This morning Jimmy and his 3 crew members arrived right after Kevin delivered 2 pallets of the solar equipment to be installed. They started the process immediately and worked meticulously all day long. Before they left, they made sure all the panels were talking to each other. They were very courteous and professional and left no debris behind! They all were knowledgeable and when we asked questions, they thoroughly answered every one and relayed what we could expect in the weeks to come! I highly recommend this crew to do your ESD installation! They were great!

On Wednesday, 9/17, Jose Velez came to check out the Solar panels because they were not talking to each other. Upon inspection, he discovered a bad board. He also had to meet with the Seminole County fire inspector. Jose was polite, pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions! We give him 5 stars!

The customer service representative helped me through throughout the process and kept me updated. Her name is Haylen. The tech that also came out here his name is Jared was very communicative.and completed the work in a timely manner. I appreciate both of these workers to ensure my concern was taken care of.

I got a solar system in 2018. It has never been profitable. They don't help you solve problems. In 2020 they came out to fix something and in the process broke something else they wer unable to repair it for 3 months so I missed all the summer solar. In the last 3 years I have contacted them at least 4 times and they never respond. The system keeps loosing effectiveness and can't get a response from the to remediate it. Do your research... l feel solar is a rip off

ESD did an outstanding job helping us recover from last year's hurricane damage. They went above and beyond to restore our home and navigated the tricky insurance claims process with ease, saving us time and stress. Sales representative Dylan Borges at ESD solar is the best, he has made the process a breeze and really cares about his customers. He is very knowledgeable in his field and explained everything down to the smallest detail. He is on top of things throughout the entire process and make you feel confident and at ease throughout the process following up with you and there to answer any questions you might have along the way. The company ESD solar as a whole also cares about their customers, in my case unfortunately the process has been longer than normal to activate my solar panels but the company officials have assisted me every step of the way and are very understanding of the situation and compensated me for the delays that are out of my hands. The hardware looks very nice on my roof they were very professional and overall very pleased with the process can't wait for the panels to be activated within the next couple of weeks.

ESD Solar has just completed the installation of Solar panels and electrical components to connect us to the local power company. This review is to recognize the workers and crew that installed the solar equipment. I will continue to leave reviews upon completion of future ESD phases of work. Reference future postings to get a thorough rating of this company.

ESD installers were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10 a.m. We received a text that they would be arriving at 10:30 but they actually arrived prior to that time change. The crew introduced themselves and explained the work involved, estimated time of completion, and answered any questions we might have. They started promptly, inventoried the supplies delivered, and surveyed the location of installation. Workers included Jimmy, Sander, Yoanis, and Pedro. Each were professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently as a team. It is obvious that they are well trained and know how to complete the tasks of installation. I would rate them highly based on my observations, experience as retired military, and understanding of proficient work ethics.

Upon completion of work, Jimmy explained how the equipment works, how it integrates with our back up generator, answered all our questions, and cleaned up their work areas. Pedro remained to verify equipment operation, code compliance, and to take pictures of all work completed. We are comfortable that the installation. process was done properly and would recommend this crew for your solar installation.

As explained to us, everything is installed and operational. The power company still has to inspect, approve, and install their equipment for metering power generated. As previously stated, I will update as needed. Aug 9, 2025

Got a roof done by this company and had planned to get solar panels. However, the roofing agreement included extra funding for a generator and generator switch. Somewhere around the $1500-2000 range. I was supposed to receive that money to complete those purchases once the project was funded. It has been funded for some time (several months) and I still haven't received the money for those items.

If anyone gets solar from them, you really need to read the contract. Its super scammy and ends up costing the customer double what the system actually costs. Its a lease program, and in my situation, a 8kw system was going to run me close to $55,000!! Those components cost approximately $10,000. With installation, it would be around $18,000. That doesnt include any kind of battery backup. What good is the system, if the power goes out and I don't have power? Not worth save a few bucks on my power bill to pay for that over decades. Plus, if my bill is over what the system generates, I still have to pay my power company.

TOTAL SCAM!!
