Our complex worked with Mike Newsome @ WestCo and had a wonderful experience. Mike met all the challenges our complex threw at him with calm, resolution & professionalism. Mike Newsome was very hands-on throughout the entire project from removal to planting. Mike Newsome went well & beyond customer service for us on several occasions. Sorry, I wish I could give them a better review, I keep watching them ruin our bushes/plants by over trimming with hand tools, I see them ruining freshly laid Bermuda Grass here in Mirabay and honestly wish we had someone else doing our community here. They are present I can say that, but not the best nor do they care about clean up... All the neighbors including the office can agree that West Coast Lawn and Landscaping is only here because they were hired. I wish we could take that money we spend each month and do it ourselves!

I moved in to Larkenheath in April 2018 and the property was really unkept. Sidewalk area grass all eaten up and no really keeping care of the property. I want to RECOGNIZE and Thank The WestCoast Team that are pleasant and Hard working. Several times I asked to address something overlooked or just a request to improve the property appearance that should be done but turnover or misunderstanding the cause.
The Leader is the first one to address the issue personally to teach the rest of the team.

I had the opportunity to speak with Chris Starke and asked how I could recognize his hard work, great leadership and advised to post here.

Chris has been perfect. He has done exactly what he said he would, including the original meeting we had to discuss what I wanted and what he recommended, to the response time and now, today, and the scope of work. He had two great, hard working men with him, and to be honest, very efficient. Their names are Matt, and Ben. The job was completed, and looks great. The instrucions Chris left with me were very helpful .
I will recommend your cimpany to anyone that asks me to recommend a landscape company.

By far the best commercial landscape company I have used. You can hire these guys and no longer worry about your landscaping needs. They always edge, weed, and remove debris, and the crew is always on time and efficient. They have been working on my property for more than a year and I have zero issues and complaints with the service they provide.

Our community has used WestCoast for a decade. They are truly wonderful. Every aspect of lawn care, irrigation and fertilization are handled in a very professional manner. Our site manager, Mike Hemmer, Is always available if there is a concern or a area that needs immediate attention. I absolutely love Westcoast Landscape & Lawns and would suggest using them! I have had the pleasure of working with them at community association's I have managed during the past 13 years. They are responsive and their crews are always happy to help with your concerns. The community I manage now absolutely loves them and says it is the best their community has looked in years!

Chris Starke, crew leader for Westcoast Landscape & Lawn Strikes Out Again. You would think that after the fuss we made when his crew cut up our Palm a few months ago, that Chris would finally get it right.
A good crew leader would put together a list of the few residences in our 40-unit development (and for all of his properties) to not trim. If anyone at Westcoast looked before they leaped, they could easily tell that our landscaping is new and different and to STAY AWAY.

But Chris sends laborers to our neighborhood without any direction, that don’t speak English, and don’t know who he is.

We have spent countless hours hand pruning and weeding our landscaping. In a few quick minutes, Chris ruins the work that we have done with a power trimmer. We own a power trimmer, but have NEVER used it to trim our schefflera. We spent two hours picking up the debris and hand pruning the mess that Chris left us.

Chris’ latest management decision was to put 3 STAY AWAY WESTCOAST signs in our landscaping. We are into neighborhood beautification, not to UGLY It up with these signs. As a matter of fact, two other villas have these signs and Westcoast still power trims their landscaping. What a Joke! The crews work hard, but apparently their crew leader hardly works at his job.

A year ago Westcoast posted that I should rest assured that they would look into my issue get back to me. I am still waiting to hear from them. Their management is HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY FROM WESTCOAST!!!

We have had Westcoast Landscape & Lawns for a few years in our community and to be honest, at best, they are the more costly and barely deliver on what they've promised. I had a chance to have a candid conversation with our account manager and it's very clear the problem comes from their ownership. I've learned that the owners hired their personal trainer and used car salesman to be the General Manager of their newlly opened branch. Within 18 months they have lost all of their account managers and all of their department managers. It's pretty clear to see that this "family run business" has completely lost sight of what's right for their customers in order to build a bigger company. After hearing from this Account Manager it's very clear that the only important issues are their new cars, their new boats, And their new homes. I would think twice before hiring this company, because we've seen nothing special in our community (but we pay twice as much) and from what I was told their close to implosion due to upper management.

Our HOA is thrilled with our new landscaping company Westcoast Landscape and Lawns. Our account manager Mike Newsome is absolutely 5 star caliber, he is very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. In just a short time our community has improved immensely and we could not be more satisfied with the quality of work Mike and his team has brought to our community. Mike's crew is professional, courteous and hard working and I would strongly recommend Westcoast to anyone for all landscaping needs.
