I called this guy and asked him how much for one large log. My 4 year old is learning about trees in preschool. He said we don't sell logs cause I can make three time that amount if I split it up. The guy was a jerk. I would not recommend his tree service or buying wood from him. All he cares about is his bottom line.

Willett treats us right. Professional and they go above and beyond. Two time customers. Also gives a great deal on fire wood for my fireplace. Support local business!

This is the third, or fourth year buying firewood from Jim Willet. For several years prior I was very disappointed in the firewood available in Pinellas County. Living many years in Michigan and then 20 years plus in the mountains of Colorado I bought and burned countless cords of firewood for heating, camping, and outside fire pits. So I have a pretty solid understanding of what is good wood and what is bad wood. Until I ran into Willets, the wood I bought in Florida (except the very expensive bundles at Home Depot or Lowes) was total garbage. I remember buying a carload from a guy in Tampa who claimed to have the best firewood in Tampa Bay. About 30 minutes into a backyard fire in my fire pit on a nice cool evening, I actually put my hose on it to extension it as it stunk so bad. It smelt like I was burning railroad ties. UGH.
Some time after that I drove by Willets property and noticed his wood a few years ago and bought a small load. It was seasoned, burned well, and had a sweet oak smell. The next year I bought a "half load" delivered and enjoyed every fire. Last year I bought a "full load" in Spring and just ran out last week during that last cold spell when the wind was calm. I called this morning for another "full load" requesting "high quality" wood, as I am very picky, and Jim and his team delivered tonight. The load was at least "full", they stacked it nicely, if not even artistically, and I am now set with another years worth of quality firewood that will burn well and not stink up my neighborhood on nights when I like a fire. In an urban environment, if you burn fires, it is your responsibility and duty to have a clean burning fire, or you should just watch one on TV.
For firewood, I will not even consider going anywhere else. Willets is my "kind" wood firewood connection.

Not appreciating at all that you are cutting trees and screaming to eachother outside my window at 7am on a Saturday morning, I have kids and dogs and this is our one day to sleep past 6 am. Have more courtesy and start later! Ridiculous.

Almost our entire neighborhood has worked with Jimmy and his terrific team, and NEVER have I experienced some of the audacious and in my opinion defamatory remarks made - in particular by individuals who ADMIT to not having worked with Jimmy and team. I am confident that if anyone has an issue or concern that they bring to Jimmy, they would have the issue promptly and thoughtfully addressed and corrected. Further, how can someone possibly comment on how team members are compensated!!?? Wow, how about writing about what we know - first hand - to be true, and giving people a chance to fix problems....

Great landscaping services at reasonable prices. Jimmy gives you the quote himself and supervise the work. They do everything from tree cleanup to designing and installing new landscaping.

After receiving an all-clear from the utility companies I called Willett for the go-ahead and received a appointment for the next day! The crew got the job done quickly and professionally. The team came out to my house with a convoy of trucks. They were set up and running like a well oiled machine. They were also very honest about my tree being young and it just needed a proper trim. I honestly thought the tree was about to die. All in all they saved me money and time. They didnt tear up my lawn and left no trace of ever being there. Thanks guys.

Jimmy Willett did a great job on on my trees! I had another guy that was a so called friend trimming my 6 trees thru the years and he was milking me every 1.5 to 2 years trimming my trees. Jimmy Cleaned them up the way they should of been in the first place and its been a few years and they still look great! Thanks Jimmy for your hard work!!!

We hired Willett's to remove some stumps that were hindering us from putting a new fence up. We had some trees growing in the narrow space between our wood fence and our neighbor's chain link fence. The first issue was that they showed up unannounced- luckily someone was home. They removed the stumps, and unfortunately in the process, tore up our neighbor's chain link. They did not offer to fix it, leaving us with a disgruntled neighbor. Now, whether the neighbor followed up with them to ensure they fix it, we don't know. Meanwhile, we are still unable to put our fence up because the trees are growing back. The ground is loaded with roots leftover from those same trees and they are starting to grow back in the same exact spots. So, not only did they break our neighbor's fence, but they did not fully get the trees out. Unfortunately, we won't be able to give them our business again.

Had Willetts trim back HUGE tree in front yard and cut back others off roof. The crew did a fantastic job on that tree! I'm very pleased. They were very professional and actually left the yard <along w/ the tree> much cleaner than before they came. Price was fair, very competitive, and well worth it for the job. We were extremely satisfied with how quickly Jimmy and his crew trimmed our palm trees and bottle brush.They also cleaned up and left no mess behind. Even blew off my back deck and skimmed the pool. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs a tree service. They were great!

Jimmy and his crew are amazing. They took down our giant Ficus tree, in two days. Incredible. The crew is respectful and a pleasure to have around. Could not be more pleased with their work. When they were done, the area around the tree and the debris area, looked like they had never even been there.

Large tree removal. Team of 7 with 2 trucks came out same day I called. Complete satisfaction and then some. Price was very reasonable as well. Highly recommend.
