Reviews of local pros in Plantation, Florida

I have known Gerald for several years. Since we purchased our home in 2015, he has been our a/c service guy. When it was time to purchase a new unit, it was a no brainer to use his company. He was my counselor thru the whole process as it was a major purchase and an emotional one for me, as I get crazed when my a/c is not working. They are always quick to respond and their professionalism is superb. If you are looking for a company that you can TRUST for maintenance of your unit to replacing your unit, Gerald with S O.S. is your one stop shop. Look no further! You will be completely satisfied.

SOS Air Conditioning is simply the best company around. Not only did they install my air conditioning when I remodeled my home, they have been available 24/7 to deal with any service issues that have arisen since. Over the weekend, our drain pipe became clogged. SOS responded on Monday morning, fixed the issue, and even performed additional service at no extra charge. They are the most professional, competent and affordable AC company around.

Incredible company to work with.....you cannot go wrong with them. Gerald is honest and a man of his word. He shows up on time as promised. He is fair and trustworthy. His team is absolutely the best!

Gerald is the real deal. He’s responsive, on time, and honest. He has serviced our home a/c for years, we definitely recommend.

Gerald at SOS A/C provided my family with excellent service and was extremely reliable when we were in dire need. I would highly recommend his services to family and friends !

We hired S.O.S Air Conditioning to install a new air conditioning system in our home, and we're extremely satisfied with their service. From the beginning, their response was quick and professional. They provided us with the best quote.

The installation team, Miguel and Barbaro, did an exceptional job. Miguel demonstrated years of experience and knowledge in his field. Not only was he fast and efficient in his work, but he also paid attention to the details and made an effort to do everything in the most efficient way possible. We were impressed by his dedication and professionalism.

Furthermore, both Miguel and Barbaro were extremely respectful throughout the entire process. They made sure to protect the work area and left the place spotless when they finished. It was evident that they cared about their work and customer satisfaction.

I would highly recommend S.O.S Air Conditioning to anyone in need of air conditioning installation services. They offer the best price and quality in the market.

After being burned my multiple AC companies, using Gerald has been a blessing. He is very honest and straightforward. I will be using his services for all my AC needs moving forward. I highly recommend this company!

Gerald and his team were very professional and ON TIME. Their advice was very practical and their fees were fair. We have lived in South Florida for 18 years and we truly wish we would have been referred to SOS much sooner. We highly recommend Gerald and his team.

Gerald is so trustworthy and honest. SOS is my go to AC company. Gerald even helped me when an insulation company was trying to upsell me for something I did not need. He also warned me of some AC fixes I would need to plan for in the future. He promptly fixed my unit and is always available for questions.

Gerald and his staff were professional and knowledgeable. They showed up on time and did a great job and the price was within reasonable… I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been using SOS AC for several years now, and am always completely satisfied with their service! Gerald the owner, is professional, timely, reasonable, and provides top quality service and product! My most recent use of SOS was replacing my AC unit. Wow...just Wow!! Seamless process! The installation was smooth and the best part was that they left no mess!! It was like they were never there and I have a beautiful new AC unit!! Cooling in style! One other thing I wanted to mention is that, Gerald is super honest. He had even guided me over the phone with things to do to avoid a service call! Highly recommend SOS for all your AC needs!

Gerald from SOS was great from start to finish. I was able to set up a consult appointment very quickly and my new AC was installed a week later. He answered all of my questions and responded to texts/emails very quickly. The workmen who installed the AC were very professional and left their work area spotless. I will absolutely be utilizing their services in the future!

S.O.S. Air Conditioning again took care of our our repair needs. Always honest and efficient. No need to look elsewhere.

This company is nothing short of AMAZING! My A/C died and I called Gerald and he responded immediately. He replaced my A/C unit in an efficient and timely manner. I recommend this company to everyone! You can’t go wrong with SOS.

I have been using another A/C company for the past 30 years for 6 units in multiple properties. A old friend whom I respect strongly recommended Gerald when my old A/C company urged me to replace an expensive unit less than 10 year’s old. Working with Gerald is a totally different experience. His professional knowledge, personal and friendly approach, his patience to explain to me the problems and possible solution option make me feel he is working for my best interest not just all business. I am now considering his service to cover my 6 units once the maintenance contract with the other firm expires. Thank you Gerald for giving the home owners peace of mind.

We have switched companies to SOS Air Conditioning.Gerald the owner answers the calls or gets right back via text. He did an excellent job at our commercial building so we had him service the unit at our home. It's an energy efficient TRANE. Gerald was highly recommended by a friend and we are happy with his work. He gets the job done properly, his prices are fair and he definitely knows his stuff. 5 Star service.

On vacation, learned my AC had died. Gerald and his team provided installed a new AC unit, fair price, quick turnaround and were very professional! All while I was out of town! They are my go to from now on!

We have been using SOS for many many years and have always had amazing service, fair pricing, and prompt response. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a downright professional. Thanks a million guys!

Can not say enough about SOS and Gerald. We have had a cooling issue in two of our bedrooms since the units were installed 14 years ago. We have had a number of companies service the units over the years. Gerald was the FIRST TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM!! Super responsive, affordable, trustworthy.

Many thanks to the SOS AC team—Miguel and another technician (sorry I didn’t catch his name) came to my condo to replace the AC. They worked professionally, and Miguel clearly knows what he’s doing—very experienced and efficient. I appreciated their work and hope they didn’t mind me observing and occasionally asking questions. I just wanted to understand the process better. Great service overall!
