I called to get an estimate and Andrew got back to be right away. When they showed up to give me the estimate they we’re extremely professional. We discussed everything that needed to be done and they wrote up the estimate and texted it to me very quickly. I had a few other companies come by and a few that didn’t even get back to me to compare pricing.

I read reviews and saw pictures of their work and decided to go with them. Best decision ever!

I would like to do a Shoutout to Andrew and his team for doing a Fantastic job cleaning up my front and backyard and removing 2 huge trees in my backyard too. They also trimmed another big tree and cleaned out my gutter. I’m thrilled with the way it looks.

I can now see my house and how beautiful everything looks. I’m still smiling from ear to ear.

We just had some tree work done by this company and they gave great service......from Stephanie in the office, Newt, David and Malachi Tree Crew for the finish!! They were very professional right down to the final clean up after completion of the tree trimming!!

David and Newt came out today to cut 3 trees and forestry mulch the lot next to me. They arrived on time and were very professional. They took care of everything we had requested and didn't leave until making sure we were 100% satisfied. You don't find this level of professionalism or customer service with every contractor! We will definitely use them again in the future! Thanks David and Newt for a great job!

2nd time I have had the pleasure of having Florida Tree do work. 1st time Nick,Dave,Newt and Lacey took down a huge oak between 2 homes with a crane. Start to clean up 1 day. Extremely professional. 2nd time Dave and Newt came out to grind the stump. Now it is like it was never there. Awesome people. Highly recommend for anything you need done

We have been using Florida Tree for all of our tree removal needs in both emergency situations after storms and removing other dead or dying trees since 2018 and they always respond immediately and are prompt and courteous. Chris, Dave, Newt and Forrest were the crew today and were just as professional as ever. In and out in thier usual quick, efficient fashion. We highly recommend them and plan to continue calling them for any more work we may need.

I first hired fl tree to trim my palm trees, a huge oak tree and clear property line of invasive growth and continued on to trimming shrubs and hedge and then adding mowing service. Nick is prompt with any necessary estimate and the crews are very responsible and obliging. Stephanie the office manager is a pleasure to deal with and well versed in all aspects of services provided.

I am very disappointed with this company. I have used Florida tree and ground maintenance several times in the past and always had great results, until now.

It seems the company may have a new owner or partner who goes by the name Thomas he recently came to our community offering their services and because I recognize the company name. I agreed to meet with him to discuss a possible upcoming project.

At first Thomas seemed professional, however things quickly turned concerning when he requested a 50% deposit on a large job before even providing a written proposal. And to make matters worse, he asked that the $45,000 deposit payment be made directly to his personal name and not the company. This is an extremely unprofessional and suspicious business practice. It appears we dodged this scam. I’m hoping it doesn’t happen to the next person.

We used FL tree & ground for our 110 unit HOA property. All oaks and pines needed trimming. The team: Newt, Dave, Malachi, Tony and Stephanie did a fantastic job. They had the proper equipment and worked together professionally. They stayed on task and cleaned up afterward. 10/10 would use again!

This is the third time using Florida Tree. Always great service from Nick, the owner, providing a fair estimate, to Office Manager Stephanie handling the scheduling and administrative end, to the guys doing the work, David and Newt, who worked tirelessly in formidable heat to get our property looking spectacular over a couple of days. A solid 5 from start to finish.

We have large Oak trees in our backyard, never been trimmed, hanging over our home. Below is an photo after the trees were removed from over out house. Dave, the crew foreman did a great job directing his men to remove trees that were over our house. I was always nervous that we would end up with a tree through our roof. Dave, made sure that never happened. These guys are professionals ! They had all the right equipment, large boom lifts and tractors, grinders. Everything was cleaned up when done. A great job. I do recommend them if you need any big trees removed at your home.1

When I purchased my house six years ago, I asked Nick to remove some trees the former owners planted right next to the garage and house. He did a wonderful job, reasonably priced and cleaned everything up. A couple years later, I was cited by the City of North Port because my oak tree in the front yard at the corner covered the stop sign and street sign. He did such a beautiful job of lifting it, I was amazed by how gorgeous my tree looked - I think it even looked better than before he lifted it! (My neighbor across the street and catty-corner from me had a handyman do theirs shortly after Nick did mine, and it was clearly a hack job that didn't do their tree justice, even to this day.) Regrettably, this year, my tree was diagnosed with ganoderma and needed to be cut down completely. Nick and his crew cut the tree and ground the stump. They totally cleaned up all evidence that the oak was even on the property. Very reasonably priced. Nick really knows his stuff. I recommend Nick and Florida Tree to property managers, property owners and anyone who needs tree work done. He will absolutely do right by you. Mikki Stevens, North Port

Timely work, very professional company -- Our office complex recently encountered a plumbing emergency which resulted in several businesses having to close temporarily, including dentists forced to cancel appointments. Even worse, plumbers could not get to the problem until 3 large trees (and their network of underground roots) were completely removed. I made contact with office manager, Linda Williams, who had owner and arborist, Nick Mayl, at our location in Port Charlotte within minutes. Nick assessed the problem and came up with a solution. He provided a reasonable estimate for service and stood by it. A 3 man work crew, capably led by Dave, were at our site within an hour. They brought the necessary heavy equipment to remove the trees quickly and safely. They further took good care of our property to prevent further damage to the complex. Not only were we completely satisfied with the work but, by responding immediately, it enabled us to make the plumbing repair in a timely manner. Whether it's a residential job, or a commercial job working with the needs of business owners, I highly recommend Nick Mayl and Florida Tree & Ground Maintenance. Thanks so much!

Did an absolutely amazing job ! Took down a huge oak tree with miles of roots! ( literally, everywhere!) . I was at work when they came and when I got home my front yard looked beautiful! Everything was gone, no stump, roots grounded to nothing or just gone! No mess, I had to do literally nothing. They are awesome!

Nick was amazing, called him on a Sunday he came out Monday morning and did exactly what we were looking to have done. His work is high quality and he’s about customer satisfaction. He was able to provide the service that we were not given by another individual. We are beyond excited for how it came out. Now we can move along with our projects, we highly recommend him!!

Had Newt, Jacob, David,Gunther, Stephanie in the office and Nick do trimming on a large Oak tree in my back yard. They did a great job job!

I have been using Florida Tree and Ground Maintenance for a few years now. They are fantastic. David, Newt, and Chris go the extra mile and are extremely thorough. No signs of them being on the property except for additional beauty in the palms and trees. Stephanie in the front office is great at working the schedule and providing updates on the projects. Using them to re-sod my entire back lawn as well, so looking forward to providing another positive review. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

These guys are great! Called on Friday to have a tree cut down and stumps ground and they were out on Saturday to do the work. Definitely do the job right and would highly recommend for any tree work needed.

This is the second time this month that we have used Florida Tree for projects at our home, and once again, they exceeded our expectations. They removed a large pile of yard waste as if it had never existed. The office manager, Stephanie, is a pleasure to work with and provides all the necessary information, making the process seamless. We weren't home when the work was completed, but the crew did a wonderful job. We will definitely hire them again for future projects and will also recommend them to our friends.
