Quick response and amazing service! AC wasn’t working for 3 days, they came, figured out issue, repaired it and the return, all within 30 minutes. Stayed to make sure everything’s working. It was a great experience! They’re going to be on speed dial.

Two stars as the team both in the field and office are very nice.
I really wanted to like them after all the positive reviews and recommendations from family and friends. They maybe great for other systems, but we have a Ruud (UA17) that came with Econet. Long story short we're getting Econet Communication Failures and Wifi Module Communication errors, and are still.
First $85 visit, Team came out and saw some gunk in the line. Blew it out and said it's fixed (even though the float valve was dry). Me not being a A/C expert, thought that because the water was trickling not 'running' it would effect the system. Didn't fix problem, but did clean line and showed me how in future.
24 hours later or so, errors again. Call out again, and it's the condensers board. There was no 'H' for heat or something. It's not a heat pump, but again; filed it to not an expert. We got a new board via Warranty from Ruud and the team charged $650 to install it in about 15 minutes.
Same day as the team left, more errors, no A/C. We've spent $735 for 2 service calls, 3 visits, about 2-3 hours of labor. No closer to resolution, STILL having issues sucks.
If you have a Ruud Econet, I'd maybe consider a Ruud 'Pro Partner'
Edit Update: Went from 2 to 3 stars as the issue with our system apparently was rare and complex. I was 0-2 with two separate providers, so can't fault them I guess.
Another provider came in. First thing they noticed was 60amp power cut off was melted behind the fuse (had electrician put a new one). That still did not fix the communication issue. That provider was left in quesiton, and suggested we try and replace the same board Knights Air did.
At that point I wasn't willing to replace that, pay for that; on a whim. I went down the rabbit hole of communicating A/C. Went and bought shielded t-stat and re-wired the A/C just to be sure. This system needs to be wired in a daisy chain, so I had to re-run everything from condenser, air handler, coil, then a 'stub' on the end for the WiFi module.
As soon as I powered back up communication errors were gone.
We've been back up and running now for 1.5 months, and I've unfortunately learned way to much about A/C. Pretty much had to learn about everything about the UA17 and RA17 units, but the actually coil,A/C oil, etc. -
I contacted Knights Air on Monday after noticing upstairs unit not coming on. They came out and diagnosed on Tuesday. They were here about 10 minutes. Received a quote for $935 to replace motor. The unit was only a year old so the motor was under warranty (they had to verify). So they said the charges were for labor. They acquired the motor and came on Thursday to replace. They spent 20 minutes to replace the motor. Everything seems to be working again. However $935 for 30 minutes total on site seems excessive. They said there was also a “transport” charge to pick up motor. But even with that this price seems very high.

I can only share my small experience, they did not perform any services for me. A week before my appointment I called to schedule. Spoke with somebody pleasant on the phone and they were able to assist me with an AC tuneup within a week. I was very happy about that. The morning of the appointment, the appointment time came and went and nobody has showed up. I automatically thought that I had the wrong date, so I tried to call them to get the correct date. When I called the number on the website the answering response was “mailbox is not available “. So of course I thought I had the wrong number and I ended up dialing the number four times with the same response. At 9:22 AM I did have the opportunity to speak with someone who stated “I see that you called 85 times “. Considering my appointment was at 9 AM, no one called, Had no estimated time that they would be there, and I just had somebody get rude with me over the phone. I pretty much determined this was not a company I wanted to do business with. If you decide to call them I hope you have a better experience than I.

Initially they seemed like a great company... Local and a small business. They gave the impression that they were capable of properly diagnosing our issue. That could not be further from the case. We have not had proper air conditioning for six weeks, after paying almost $1300 to have a new blower installed. They ordered the wrong part, which caused delays, the "right" part came in only to go out 5 days later. Just for another week to go by before they try to get a replacement for the new part and complain about having to come out of pocket for it. New part comes in and gets installed just for it to go out a couple of days later, why??? Because they misdiagnosed the problem. Now they refuse to give us any of our money back. BUYER BEWARE!!!

A few months ago my AC stopped blowing cool so I called Knights and a technician came by and told me that my coil was bad and was leaking. He even showed me a pic. It was hot and humid and he was able to get me by by adding in freon until I can get a quote on a coil repair or system replacement. I never got a call nor did they return my call that I left a message on.
Fast forward to today the AC still blows cold with that recharge. I even hired another “honest” company to do a check up on the system and to my surprise the Freon levels were right on and no leaks, so the coil was never a problem. If there was a leak in the coil you may or will see oil all over, which there was none in my system. The tech from this new company even told me that some technicians will show false leaks or pour dye in your system to make it look like there was a leak even though there isn’t, which unfortunately what happened to me. I didn’t get the name of the technician from Knights, but I did not appreciate getting lied to in order make more money plus we were not at a point where we can nor wanted to spend more money. Thank god that we have no leaks and that the system is still running good. Beware if you plan on using this company given my experience. -
I haven't had my a/c serviced in 2 years. I was not having a problem with it, it was working fine. I called knights and made a appointment to have it serviced/ cleaned. Tech came out and took cover off. He came to me in less than 5 min and said all is good, didn't need to be cleaned. I find this to be unacceptable as I know it takes time to clean the coils and test everything, considering it had been a couple of yrs. I would not recommend this company. I was charged 75.00 for a service that wasn't done..I am a 77 and feel I was taken advantage of!!
