From ground breaking to certificate of occupancy: 13 months, two weeks. And when finished, the final punch list could have been written on a Post-it note.

We are not novices at construction and renovations. Over the years, we have done a fair share of both -- for ourselves and for investment properties. But never have we enjoyed better advanced planning, foresight and scheduling skills than Brandon Cox showed us every day of this major project.

More than once, after considerable thought about a possible flaw in a specific request, I went to Brandon to share my concern. Each time he had already recognized the potential problem and made necessary adjustments.

Brandon was hands-on, organized, cooperative and knowledgeable. He was on-site every work day. He spent our money like it was his money. His subs were excellent, friendly, dependable and top-quality skilled.

And our work site was left clean, orderly and neat at the end of every work day.

We cannot say enough to express our satisfaction and admiration for the work Brandon Cox did on our home, but we tried. Our first official act as new homeowners after receiving the CO was to have a 3-foot x 10-foot banner printed and hung over the front porch: “We Love Our Contractor! Thank You Brandon Cox, Coastal Comforts Construction.”
