Reviews of local pros in Seffner, Florida

We used Brilliant Nights for our outdoor lighting and it made such a HUGE difference in the appearance of our home at night - it's absolutely beautiful! We've received compliments from our neighbors that included words like "awesome" and "amazing". :)

SALES
Rick was great - there was never any sales pressure. He explained what options we could do as far as placement, types of lights and fixtures, etc.

INSTALLATION
The techs did a great job during the installation. I felt bad when they dug and dug and dug trying to find the pipe we had the builder lay below our driveway specifically for this purpose. They never did find it - they ended up burying a line all the way around the back of our house just for one little light on the opposite side of our driveway! When they replaced the sod, you couldn't even tell where they had dug. And all of that extra digging didn't change the price we were quoted.

OFFICE SUPPORT
Karen in the office was also on the ball getting a service call scheduled when we had something weird happened with our timer after a power outage (it might have had something to do with us pushing buttons on it that messed it up). We've had the lights for over a year now and they are still my absolute favorite thing we've done to the outside of our house.

I definitely recommend Brilliant Nights.

Had a wonderful experience with Brilliant Nights! They made my home look amazing! Thank you Rick and your team!

I've hired Rick twice to help light two different homes and he and his team have always done an amazing job. Brilliant Nights is fast and responsive and will make your home look absolutely stunning at night. I continue to get compliments and love how my home looks. Thank you!

I was truly impressed with the responsive and fast service I received, which made a potentially stressful situation feel remarkably manageable. The team's helpful and professional demeanor, coupled with their knowledgeable insights, provided me with the confidence I needed throughout my experience. Additionally, receiving such high-quality service at a fair price was simply the icing on the cake.

Best landscape lighting company in Tampa. Very professional and they back up their work. Had lights installed in the front as well as our back yard. Had a few extra tweaks after project was completed which the owner, Rick was happy to facilitate. Rare to find a company that actually shows up to keep their customer happy after they have been paid. Highly recommended!

We are so pleased with the work done by Brilliant Nights. After a great deal of research, we met the owner Rick Bequette. He was so knowledgable, sincere and honest. He was very respectful and listened to our desires and made us feel confident that he could meet our needs. We really appreciated his input and ideas. Rick and Jason, his installer, work so well as a team and are two of the hardest working individuals that we have met since moving here. They provided quality work, very neat and nothing seemed to be a problem for them. We are very happy with the results and would defiantly use Rick and Brilliant Nights again. We would recommend them to anyone. This is a very well run family business with an owner and a team that really cares about you, the customer and their work.

Brilliant Nights did another outstanding job with our landscape lighting! We can’t say enough about how pleased we are with the professionalism and attention to detail that Rick and his team brings. We have hired Brilliant Nights twice (before and then after a major landscaping project), and highly recommend them for your lighting project without reservation. --TL

Amazing quality, impeccable art, and unbeatable service. Supporting Brilliant Nights also means you’re supporting a small business. Why pay the big company who barely notices your business when you can literally support a family? Rick will get back to you in hours or a few days, a big business could take weeks to months! Especially if something needs maintenance in the future. He will go above and beyond to make your home or business not only look beautiful, but be safer as well. You won’t regret choosing Brilliant Nights!

My yard lacked good lighting and it was difficult to see when I took my dogs out in the dark. I contacted Brilliant Nights and Rick gave me some great ideas. He completed the job as promised and I LOVE the new look. The lighting has added a greater sense of security and looks amazing. Rick is an honest, true professional and the lighting fixtures are high quality. I am hooked!

Brilliant Nights was exactly what we were looking for in outdoor lighting for our home. Rick and his company were recommended to us by a high end builder that we know. We were not disappointed. Our meeting with Rick could not have been better starting by Rick arriving to our home on time and happily answering all our questions and providing plenty of great suggestions. We decided to give Rick the job based on his knowledge of outdoor lighting and his personality. We were extremly happy with our desicion to go with Brillant nights because of the timely installation and professionalism of his staff (clean cut and courteous) Our home is the envy of our neighborhood with the new landscape and lighting. We would recommend Rick and his staff to all!

We wanted to have some outdoor lighting to highlight our oak trees so we called Rick. He was very courteous and professional. Rick made several recommendations that we really liked. Brilliant Nights came in and completed the job in record time. Rick called to make sure all was well and ask if there was anything we had questions about, I had several questions so Rick came back over to go over the info with me. Brilliant Nights and Rick are great to deal with, I highly recommend them.

I cannot begin to tell everyone how happy I am with the lights Rick set up in my front/back yard! Not only is it beautiful but has also increased my home value and my sense of security. My neighbors are very envious. Rick is extremely punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. He even let my new puppy abuse him while he was working!
Thanks again and again Rick! I am a VERY satisfied customer!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to add to my post that my backyard was 2 ft. Under water and either it was an act if God or the excellent installation by Rick that my outdoor lights are still shiny like the stars!!!!!!

Rick and Jason are masters of uplighting. Rick is truly an artist with designing the uplighting. Jason is impressively professional at install. I had two lights that needed to be installed in the patio pavers and he did it without a single crack or chip in any of the pavers-- it looked perfect and totally professional. We also had lights installed on our roof to highlight the second floor of the house, and that also came out perfect. I'm impressed with what these guys can do. They are definitely the experts and truely artists. If you want your house to look beautiful as possible, they are the right choice. I have included pictures-- I'm sure a professional photographer could have really highlighted how aesthetic it looks, but even with my amateur skill, you can't help but see the beauty.

My wife and I decided to accent our home with some decorative outdoor lighting. We had some ideas on what we wanted, so we contacted Rick after seeing his impressive website. Rick came to our home within a couple of days and identified lighting opportunities we hadn't even considered. The results were breathtaking. We had an issue with one of the lights a few weeks after it was installed, and Rick quickly resolved it for us. We couldn't be more impressed with our experience with Brilliant Nights, and specifically with Rick and his crew. We eagerly recommend Brilliant Nights for your lighting needs. Thank you Rick!

Rick is great to work with. His team did a great job in lighting our home and landscaping. We had some very specific requests. They worked with us to find just the right fixtures and system to meet our very specific needs and within the budget we requested. I highly recommend using Brilliant Nights. They truly are artists in their field.

Rick did a fantastic job lighting up my back yard. The placement of the lights emphasizes all the different levels and textures of my plants and trees. I especially like how the canopy of the trees are lit. It's as if the moon is shining through on a very dark night. He has promptly replaced any bulb that has gone out. Great service.

I highly recommend working with Brilliant Nights. Love the way the yard looks after the installation. Not only enhances the aesthetics of the yard and our home but also feels safer with the subtle lighting around the house in the evening. Rick is professional and knowledgeable. It is a pleasure working with him.

I highly recommend Rick and Brilliant Nights for your landscaping needs. He did an outstanding job putting landscaping lights in our back yard. The lights transformed a dark area that we didn't enjoy into beautifully illuminated magical place. He went the 2nd mile and fixed problem lights on the front yard. He also moved lights for better placement and lighting effect.
Rick used high quality, guaranteed products. He is awesome to work with, knowledgeable, professional and extremely reasonable in costs. I wish there were more than 5 Stars!!

Rick at Brilliant Nights is a total professional. He did our landscape lighting both front and back and lights inside our pool cage. Rick stands behind his products and is quick to respond to any issues. I highly recommend Brilliant Nights to anyone looking to light up their landscape and pool deck.

We had always wanted lights but thought it was too expensive or the electric bill would increase too much but I called Rick. My house is a typical 3/2 ranch but at night it is anything but typical. The extra lights not only enhance the look of our house but it makes us sleep a little easier at night.
Over the years I’ve needed maintenance and Rick is only a phone call away. He has fixed a couple of lights and even talked me through resetting my timer.
Rick defines what it is to be a run a good business and build relationship with customers.

I am ecstatic to have had the pleasure to meet Rick of Brilliant Nights. He recently installed lights around my house and flowerbeds, and I can truly say he did a fantastic job. He was very professional, honest and hard working. My humble home looks fantastic at night, and I feel so much more secure with the lights around the house. They are not overpowering and actually enhances the home.
Rick thank you so very much for working with me and having done such a fantastic job.
