I was recently looking for a company to trim a large oak tree in my front yard, trim a neighbor's tree hanging over my backyard and remove a palm tree in the front yard. I had 3 different company's come out to quote, and I ultimately chose to go with Happy's Tree Service. They are certified arborists, came at 8am ready to go and with a friendly attitude, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. The price was the most reasonable of the 3 quotes and I would highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Steven and his crew have all the machines and expertise to do the job right. Extremely professional and friendly service at reasonable price. Couldn't be more satisfied.

*** Updated to add....they really went above and beyond today as I wanted to plant a tree where the old one was. They called the 811 stake before you dig folks - got them out here and then came and ground out the stump to the depth I needed all within 48 hours of my inquiry. thanks guys! *** I don't even remember how long I've counted on these guys to help me tame the numerous trees on our lot. They are professional, quick and affordable whether you need trimming, removal or just an opinion about a sick tree. They are awesome - don't go anywhere guys!

Very disappointed with their services. Was quoted a comparable price with other companies, but they could do the work first. The quote was to remove deadwood, prune as needed, crown, and raise two oak trees. I left them cash and they came while I was at work. They removed a couple of small limbs, but they left a lot of deadwood in the trees, did not crown, and did not raise. I contacted Chris immediately and after 3 months of trying to get someone to come back out, he finally sent Paul (who is supposed to be a licensed arborist). I was told that they couldn't remove anything else (including the dead limbs) or the tree would die. Another licensed arborist from a different company came out and had a very different opinion and will be doing the work I paid Tree Dragons for.

Removed very large, stressed and dying, Laurel oak from my front yard. Excellent work from start to finish. Great communication from the time I first reached out for a quote and, a reasonable price for a huge job.

We have been using Tree Dragons for years to trim our palms, bamboo and assorted bushes. The work is always completed on time, done correctly and for a reasonable price. Tree Dragons trimmed my very large oaks and other trees including a fallen one that had been there since we moved in. They did an excellent job over several days. Paul was very knowledgeable about the trees and the correct trimming process. I highly recommend them. They did what they said they were going to do and more.

Been calling Tree Dragons for several years now for various things - stump removals, a copse of overgrown and entangled large trees, and some fast-growing trees that need regular trimming. Each time they're fast, have a great price, and Paul is extremely knowledgeable and knows what to do about any issue. Their workers work with care and are fast. I easily recommend them.

Save yourself money and hassle and look elsewhere. I chose to work with this company, despite a red flag, because they were well recommended by a neighbor. Lesson learned. The owner was misleading about cost during the consultation; the crew, including the owner, did not show up during the scheduled window negatively affecting my work day. I arranged to have 6 trees removed, to be replaced by 3 trees. The crew’s quality of work was lousy, and the trees were not properly placed or evening spaced. I expressed concern, and the trees were so stressed from being moved twice, only one survived. I’ve done my research, and one would be better served to go through your local nursery to supply, deliver and install your trees. Based on the quality of work done at my house, this company has no business charging their prices or planting trees. My review is 2 stars because I also had other trees on the property pruned, and that work was satisfactory.

Oak Manor is so thankful for you cleaning up our property after the hurricane. Tree Dragon has been an outstanding business to work with - the owner is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Him and his team are professional, kind, efficient and friendly. They were quick to respond and extremely reasonably priced.

My neighbors, M & L, had Tree Dragons out following the storm to address an older oak that needed to be removed following hurricane damage. Tree Dragons had done work for them before, let alone at the homes of other neighbors at their recommendation, so it only made sense that a job such as this would be given to their team without a second thought (or quote). Tree Dragons came out for the job in a timely manner for the final removal of the tree, which required coordination of heavy equipment including a crane. On 11/9, the tree was down and shortly after the stump was ground down into a 4-foot-tall pile of dust. A large brush pile stretched along the road across multiple houses and two MASSIVE stumps of the old oak were placed in M & L's front yard. M & L were sad to see their tree gone and the mess but were encouraged since Tree Dragons would certainly come back to remove the debris soon...

On November 19th, M told me that the stumps and mulch pile should be "removed tomorrow." The debris did not get removed, however. On two occasions, Tree Dragons did send workers who removed small amounts of mulch, and, one month after the tree removal, Tree Dragons still never removed all of the mulch left. As of yesterday, my neighbors, who are not the youngest folks in the neighborhood and one who is still recovering from an arm fracture, removed the rest from their yard in 5-gallon buckets. It was M's birthday, and this was how the two of them got to celebrate on their shared day off together.

Though the mulch was certainly a frustration, there was other debris left unmanaged by Tree Dragons in the yard of M & L. The two large stumps taken out of their backyard by the crane remained in their yard until they were ultimately removed by the city, not by the company who was paid for this service. The team picking up the stumps estimated that the larger of the two must have weighed close to 7,000 lbs! This was certainly not going to be removed by the average client and likely would have required the crane service from Tree Dragons that was paid for. There were also brush items left for weeks along the road and in front of their neighbor's home, who was gracious to allow some of it to be placed there.

Now I feel that it is important to outline the positive of any situation and I know M & L were appreciative of the quick response and turnaround of the Tree Dragons team with the initial cut down. It is also understood that a lot of people struggled, and still struggle, with yard debris sitting on their curb following the large storms this year. However, M & L paid good money for the removal complete removal service - including the removal of debris - and it seemed incredibly inappropriate that this company allowed the debris to sit there for a month until the city and the homeowners picked up the slack and completed what was left to them. Tree Dragons is not the cheapest company either and, as I said earlier, I had a quote for them for services after they were recommended by M & L. Ultimately, their quote ended up being more than double that of the company I ended up having the work done by. Additionally, the company I chose completed the work in one day, removed all their debris, and even took additional debris from a tree that they weren't even responsible for. M & L were also told their concerns would be addressed on multiple occasions by Tree Dragons and it is sad that they were not honest with their intentions during the initial quote or opportunities to communicate accurate dates of final removal during all the other discussions they had. I imagine if M & L had been aware that the debris from the removal were going to be left for so long that they might have considered another company and possibly even saved some money.
