Reviews of local pros in St Johns, Florida

I went with this company because of the reviews on here. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience which resulted in poor maintenance and irreparable damage to our front lawn. We reached out to the owner so many times with little to no response. As a result, we have to spend double what we were paying Jimmy to correct an issue that was neglected by Solstice even after we called and texted on a weekly basis.

I highly recommend !
Quality, Price and customer service 👍
Soltice Landscaping has been referred in our neighborhood from a house to another and still doing more work.
We are happy customers with high satisfaction.
They have repaired our sprinklers and sod after our pool build.
Jimmy and his team are delivering quality workmanship, they clean the premises and finish on time (weather permitting).
The crew lead Grant is very experienced, but more importantly he is very patient and courteous, he walks the job with you when completed making sure you understand the next steps for your landscaping to last for a long time.

I also like to mention that they are reasonably priced and even competitive.

Much appreciated the great work you have done!

Jimmy and his team are beyond exceptional - great communication and service. Of the six landscapers I called only three returned my call and Solstice was the only one that didn't try to up charge with elaborate plants, etc. Jimmy listened to my needs and made suggestions when appropriate - it was a pleasure working with him. Will definitely use him again and consult him with ongoing maintenance. Highly recommend!!

We were very pleased with the beautiful landscaping job performed by Jimmy Walters and his crew. He was very knowledgeable about the plants we were choosing and he also had a great eye for how a redesign of existing features would enhance the look of our house and lawn. We confidently deferred to his judgment for the new but he was open to saving a few features we wanted to keep. Our landscape is transformed and we highly recommend Solstice.

We needed to get real estate clean up done so that we could put our home on the market. Jimmy came out and worked with me on a design and budget. He found time for the crew to come out the next day and complete the work. The work was professionally done and good quality. The team even did more than expected. That is how you get repeat business. When I need to update the landscaping at our new home I will definitely reach out to Solstice.

We used the solstice team now several times, this time being a complete overhaul of our landscaping bed- plus over 10 pallets of sod. A huge project and they did awesome removing overgrown old shrubs and layers of mulch. Putting in new low/no maintenance plants and edging with rock. Very pleased!

Jimmy, Grant, and the team did an outstanding job transforming our yard. The entire space was revamped, including the removal of old lava rock. They installed nine pallets of sod and planted 20 viburnum to create natural privacy on both sides of the backyard. Garden beds were neatly backfilled with either gray granite rock or black cedar mulch, and a few sprinkler heads were repositioned to optimize coverage.

After several weeks of diligent watering, the lawn and plants are thriving! Jimmy, in particular, was fantastic to work with—he guided us through the entire process, offering valuable insights on plant and mulch selection while keeping our budget in mind.

I highly recommend Solstice for your landscaping needs!

We called Jimmy and his team after we needed to have our yard put back together from a pool construction project. They fixed our irrigation and drainage, put new sod down and replaced some old landscaping edging. All throughout the project, we felt in great hands because the communication was fantastic. Honestly, this was one of the best contracting experiences we’ve had and if we have other yard projects in the future, Jimmy and Grant will be our first call!

I am usually very picky but grants ideas where the absolute best! I went with his suggestion and couldnt be more happy. Sod,palms, plants, he did a great job all around looks better then i could have imagined! Thanks again grant!

Jimmy and his team did a fantastic job turning overgrown bushes, weeds & vines into a beautiful yard! They were very communicative from start to finish. Went above & beyond with a few extras (picked up our pavers, trimmed trees that were not part of project) and made sure our irrigation supports the new landscape. 10 outta 10!

The team did a great job of replacing all the sod in our yard and correcting our irrigation issues. They were honest, professional, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of landscaping or yard maintenance!

Jimmy and Grant just finished landscaping our lawn after we had a new pool installed. They did a fantastic job, had great ideas and did the job in a timely manner. They were easy to communicate with and knew exactly what needed to be done. Great company.

We decided on Solstice because of their professionalism and quick responses to all our questions and concerns. Jimmy created a plan that would best fit our budget needs and brown thumbs. He and his staff were respectful, clean and fast. Thank you for trimming our trees, they look fantastic. First time our trees were trimmed since 2004! Also for providing us with a beautiful, easy up keep yard. We will definitely use you when we are ready to tackle the back yard! Highly recommended
