On time and went to work immediately. Neat, left their work area spotless. Installed 3 motion detector lights, removed & replaced an outdated closet light and repaired non--working outlet. James made recommendations of what would work best for us when discussing what we wanted done.

I had them out to install an interlock device on my box and a wall receptacle for my generator. They showed up on time and did a very professional job. There was a small billing dispute that was easily handled. I would recommend them without reservations.

We hired Maynard electric to install electrical wiring and outlet for a chandelier in our dining room. Curtis and Pablo did the install and were very professional, courteous and on time. I would highly recommend them for any electrical job that you have.

We had a lightening strike next to our house that hit a tree, that took out several huge limbs, as well as all our power. We checked our breaker box, and was able to get everything on except our air conditioner and water heater.We then checked the air conditioner reset button. No luck. We were reluctant to call for service on the weekend, being retirees on a budget. Monday I called Maynard Electric and talked to a wonderful employee by the name of Jeanie, who walked me through all the possibilities to try. She also told me that they were totally booked up through Thursday, and asked if I had tried to call anyone else. I told her we had been taken advantage of too many times in the past, and that Maynard's had come highly recommended by a restaurant owner. Jeanie told me she would try to get a technician out on Wednesday, between 2 service calls in my area, to look at it. The window given was between 12:30 and 2 PM. Eric arrived at approximately 1:30 PM and was done by 2:20 PM. He walked us through every step of the way, testing all the power, and changed out a main breaker. He then told us to turn on the air conditioner full blast, and to expect a 5 minute delay. His word was as good as gold. The air kicked on. Eric then made some recommendations for the future. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and reasonable. This company is stellar and keeps extremely busy. They are busy for a very good reason. They come highly recommended, They will work with you and are honest .Their price was well within our budget, especially since we had gone without air(in 90 degree heat) for 5 days. We say that they were well worth the wait. We waited for quality work, and got it.

Maynard crew completely rewired my knob and tube 1930s house. Excellent, highly professional work. They were able to complete the job with no structural damage to walls, ceilings or floors. A pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended.

I just had my entire electrical panel upgraded and I used Maynard. To put it short and sweet, fast dependable and way more affordable then anyone else you will talk to! I could not be more happy!

Not only did they do the job for way less than Mr. Sparky and their other overpriced competition but they did it correctly. Everything is up to code and works perfectly! They even suggested a fix for a problem, that I didn’t think could be fixed. I spoke to over 15 different electrical contractors from both Panellus and Tampa. No one came close to Maynard. Frankly, the electrical panel fix, that their electrician suggested, saved me from having to remodel my house in order to put in a new bathroom. That alone is worth thousands of dollars. Save yourself a headache and a bunch of money and use Maynard.

As the owner of Courtesy Electric inc. I would like to add this review in response to a recent review left by Luciano Gonzalez. I have known Eric and Maynard Electric for over 30 years and as competitors i can say that they are a reputable and honest company. The negative review left by Mr. Gonzalez from LRG Contracting was un warranted and un called for. The project in question that Mr. Gonzalez requested Maynard to look at , I as well had looked at and provided a quote. Mr. Gonzalez has called a few other contractors as well. I have known Mr. Gonzalez for over 10 years and as he does exceptional work he can be difficult at times to work with. For the record i did get the job i am speaking of so this review is not in retaliation, I just dont think its fair that he left a negative review towards Maynard Electric .

Had a new electcal box installed by Maynard Electric and can say their service and work involved is the best of the best. Show up when they say, neat & clean up top notch service men & women that care about their work and the customer their doing it for. The price is right for the job. Everyone is friendly from office staff to installers and patient. Chateau Towers are extremely pleased. Thank you Maynard Electric and many more good years to come.

Maynard did an Alumiconn installation throughout my house to meet the needs of my insurance requirements. They were professional and extraordinarily helpful. On time, enough crew to get it done quickly and very very good follow up. Nothing bad to say, only good. Feel confident they can do your job.

Our electric panel burst into flame at about 7:30 p.m. Luckily we were home and were able to put out the fire with an extinguisher. Duke Energy was zero help. We called this incredible business and they got back to us quickly that night with advice about what to do until they could get there. They appeared the next morning at 7 a.m. and worked all day to replace our panel and get our power restored. We so appreciate the incredibly talented workers that helped us and this super responsive, great local business. Highly recommended.

I have had the most amazing experience with Maynard. I won't be using anyone else for my electrical needs in the future. They are honest, well priced, and have great customer service. After almost being scammed by another company I called Maynard for a second opinion. I found Maynard after 3 friends separately recommended them. I was amazed at the level of service and competitive pricing. I HIGHLY recommend using this company.

These guys are awesome! They were thousands less than other contractors, and they did an amazing job. Mike and Daniel were very professional. They showed up on time every day and completed the project on schedule. I was impressed by their attention to detail. They filled the holes in the walls and left my house neat and clean. I would definitely recommend Maynard Electric.

As usual, Maynard Electric went above and beyond to help us with a last minute issue at a rental property - saved us significant time, worry and expense, and put our tenants at ease with a quick response and explanation of the issue and repair. From front of house phone support to the service call to avert an emergency, they were outstanding. Only electricians our family will use.

We used Maynard electric for a rewire and removal of knob and tube wiring. Excellent service and professionalism as this was not an easy job. Big Thanks to Steve and Angel for the excellent work. Highly recommend this company.

I had a problem with lights flashing in 2 rooms. The problems was assessed thoroughly and a bad breaker was replaced. My technicians were James and Cisco and they answered all questions too. Highly recommend!

Highly disappointed nobody here has their ducks in a row and the amount of money they charge on a quote is totally asinine

They were supposed to be here at 8:30 Am, showed up around 3, did a sloppy job removing an old light fixture and caused the wood to crack because they didn't cut it away from the old painted surface. I think they overcharged me by about $25 because they were not here for a full 2 hrs.

Didn't want to come out to give me an estimate to install a level 2 car charger.
