My 82-year-old mother returned to Florida last night and the AC was not working correctly. I called Total Air this morning and they pushed our appointment into an emergency need. This afternoon Dan Eaton with Total Air inspected and handled the issues with my AC unit. Since I own the condo, he had to call me for approval and to explain the issues. He is very professional and treated my mother wonderfully. Everyone hates when issues happen but working with the Total Air team made it simple and easy. Mom could not go without AC in Florida summer weather, so I am thankful that my need was taken seriously.

I'm letting uou know that he is honestly the person that is saving your company's reputation where the previous technician, Nick, is utterly destroying the company's reputation. Being in management my self for over 2 decades, I don't take words like these lightly.

I called Total Air to repair a two-year-old LG mini split system. They came out four times—never fixing the problem.
On day one, I handed the service manager a replacement condenser circuit card I had ordered because it was visibly corroded. He dismissed it as the cause and instead swapped out $850 worth of warranty parts in the head unit—nothing was wrong with it. When that failed, he ordered a pricier condenser circuit card, insisting it was “definitely” the issue. Wrong again.
I finally hired an LG-certified technician, who immediately confirmed the only problem was the exact card I had given Total Air on day one. Even after that, they had the audacity to bill me for their time.
Their incompetence cost me over $600—between a rent discount for my tenant and a portable AC to get through the delay. To make matters worse, they reassembled the head unit incorrectly, which the certified tech also had to fix.
A simple, honest answer up front—“We aren’t trained to work on LG equipment”—would have saved everyone time, money, and frustration.
