DO NOT DO BUSINESS!!!
I rented a UHaul moving truck from Sam. The truck he provided was the wrong truck number and license plate to start with. Spent almost 2 hours with Uhaul corporate on the phone getting it sorted out after he left immediately following the signed contract, delaying our move exceptionally. We also hired him while we were renting the truck for scrap removal. What started as $100 for a mattress, small dresser, and some trash bags quickly turned into $180 for a couple additional totes of trash. I felt scammed by the scrap removal but needed it gone that day. Sam then changed the transaction amount of the 15' uhaul rental Truck with only 23 local miles on it, less than the estimated 50. The transaction changed from $64.27 to $89.11 and Sam refused to provide a transaction receipt. I have still not received a receipt despite multiple attempts to acquire one. He became defensive and uncooperative over a receipt. Consumer beware. Go somewhere else. I will never do busy with this shady man again.Edited: I reached out again following his response to my review and have still not received a receipt nor a response.
