My experience with Bay Area Solar Solutions has been outstanding. I had a roof leak under the solar panels on my house and needed to have the panels and rails removed in order to repair the leak (leak not caused by the panels). They were fast, efficient and the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to use them again for any solar purchase or service.

Best solar power installation in the Tampa St. Petersburg Area! Whenever I hire anyone to work on my house, I reach out to literally every single company in that trade (except, of course, those with bad reviews). I quickly learned that the solar power industry is unfortunately dominated by big national companies who could care less about their customers and are just in it for the money. This is why Bay Area Solar Solutions stands out and why they are the best in the Tampa area, hands down. While their pricing was only a little bit better than the national companies, what you get it is the old school, local, personalized service and, most importantly, integrity, which is becoming harder and harder to find these days. For example, all of the national companies would only come out to provide a quote if I paid them $500 upfront. Um, no thank you! Bay Area Solar Solutions came out for free to provide a quote. Furthermore, the owner himself, Jared, is the one who came out not only for the quote, but also for the entire installation. Another thing that blew me away was their efficiency. Within 48 hours of signing their proposal, they had the permit application ready to go, and within just a couple of days of receiving the permit, they scheduled the installation. The turnaround was insanely fast. Last but not least, the entire Bay Area Solar Solutions team was extremely impressive. From the Amaris and Christina in the office to Roman and the crew who did the install with Jared, everyone was remarkably repsectful, and the installation crew worked extremely cleanly. They even took the time to sweep and vaccum dust created in my garage. I am completely blown away by this company and feel very lucky to have found them in the endless sea of opportunistic, disingenous national companies. After Hurricane Milton crushed one of the roof panels after Hurricane Helene flooded the panel box, the system had been out of service since August 2024. We reached out to multiple companies for months and to no avail! Every single response was that we needed to replace the entire system—no one was willing to even consider repairs.

They were careful with my roof in the installation, and I've been impressed with their follow up to make certain the system is operating as expected. Highly recommended.

Jared and the BAS install team knocked out the entire installation in just one day. Awesome group of professionals that really know their stuff. Christina kept up on all the communications and things we needed to complete for Duke Energy to give us permission to operate. As of today we are live and producing our own power. I highly recommend Bay Area Solar.

I got 5 estimates because I knew little to nothing about solar. Vince their sales rep is always 15 minutes early and Always picks up/returns calls from his cell phone. All bids were close, quoting different manufacturers, but Bay Area was heads above everyone in honesty, education and service plus they are a small local company which is what we wanted for after install care. I couldn’t rate these people higher or I would. Vince I am sure will answer his cell at midnight possibly?

Prior to calling Bay Area Solar...
I had a different company install solar panels. They did ok, then moved out of the state. While installing, I had to initiate all communication. When I did call them, they never called back until I hounded them!!! They still have not fixed a minor installation issue. I am still call them and being ignored. It has been 7 months!! (ERUS ENERGY - NO GOOD)

Wow! Totally amazing. Wish I had done it sooner. My bill has dropped to $16/mo. and I am a family of 5. With 3 teenagers, 2 adults, and a pool we are running everything all the time. My monthly savings has more than offset the loan payment to pay for the solar panels. I can't wait to see how much I save in the summer months. In addition, the panels look great. You can hardly see them. They were fast, professional, and the follow-through has been amazing. They checked-in with me once a month for the first 4 months to be sure everything was to my satisfaction. They also provided me with an app for my phone to help monitor the entire system. They didn't just send me a link; they took the time to show me how to use it. In a few short years, the loan will be paid off and my teenagers will be moved out. I think I may even make money on this deal:) Not to mention, my spouse is totally happy because we are doing our part for the environment.

I was having issues with the connection between the gateway and my phone app. I didn't know if my solar panels were operating or not. I tried calling Enphase but they were unable to connect to the system by phone either. My original installers went out of business so Enphase suggested I try a new installer to come out to see what the problem was. I reached out to Bay Area Solar and Christina came out and got our system online in no time. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I had found this company earlier when we first decided to go with the solar panels. My suggestion, if you're thinking about getting solar panels or need assistance with previously installed panels, call Bay Area Solar. You won't regret it.

Bay Area Solar Solutions has the most stellar customer service I’ve ever experienced. We had our panels installed in 2019 and the whole process was a breeze. Since then we had one panel with a warrantied issue and one that was shot by a neighbor that doesn’t understand physics. But Christine at Bay Area Solar Solutions got us fixed up both times and it was painless. If you’ve ever worked with a contractor or had anyone do any work on your home, you know this is rarely the case. The first panel was replaced without us even knowing. The second panel was just recently so Christine has had to search to find a replacement but did it quickly and efficiently. I am so impressed and grateful!
