Absolutely Cool AC is by far the best AC company we've used. Roy our tech is very professional, knowledgeable, and detailed our check up, what he found, what actions he took, changed our filters (we provided) and did a detailed voice report into his tech iPad that will go on our system's maintenance record. Great company!!!! Roy is still doing an awesome job. We have an 9 year old AC so maintenance is critical and Absolutely Cool keeps our AC running like it was new!!!! Roy providing two recommended units to replace our near 10 year old system. Our new system will be installed within the next two weeks!!!! Jason Stone and his team arrived early and worked late finished installing our new AC system in on me day. Absolutely Cool is my AC go to company. They are the best and after my experiencing with other AC companies it's been awesome to work with the pros at Absolutely Cool!!!!

We are from Michigan and had no air running in our home on nettles Island. Erik Schulmeister was the technician who arrived very timely. He was friendly, clean cut, and very knowledgeable. He fixed our system expediently and look forward to getting quotes on replacement system. Erik did a great job!! And we would highly recommend him.

Very impressed with the manner in which Michael does his work. He was able to explain what needed to be done and did the work. His workmanship is quality work.

I believe the quote price is way too high for amount of work. Tech was nice but broke my breaker and had to put a new one. Said mine was rusted. Had no AC for over a hour so had to leave until he returned. Said he wouldn’t charge me but he broke it why would I pay for it. Not sure why he was out there. Only called for duct work. Just think fees are way overpriced! Wouldn’t recommend them.

I changed my rating to one star. This company applied for the permit but never filed it. Evidently, they did this to a number of clients. The install was faulty, the inspectors have been to my home three times in less than a year and keep finding things not installed correctly.

Evidently, the air handler was damaged while being installed - but they installed it anyway. The system is less than 2 years old, yet it needs Freon, the heat element doesn't work, and the AC keeps turning on and off every few minutes, despite updating the electrical wiring.

I believe this company went out of business.

BEWARE OF ABSOLUTELY COOL! A technician, Roy Padgett, came to my home to assess why my AC stopped cooling. He informed me that it needed a new coil, which is located in the inside air handler. I informed him that the coil unit itself was still under warranty from American Standard. He gave me a quote; $3,500/ less a "special discoutn" which brought the new price to $2,700. Then I was offered an additional "Discount" if I purchased a year service program from Absolutely Cool. I asked him how much the Coil part was and I was told $800. When I asked why the quote was so high if the coil was under warranty, Roy didn't have a good answer. I tried to call and talk to a Manager and couldn't get through to their office. Roy called his "Boss" who refused to speak to me, but toldRoy to relay to mme that I still needed to pay them for the part for them taking care of processing the warranty, getting the new coil, etc. Their answers to me quwestions were evasive and didn't make sense. Why would I have to pay for an $800. coil that was under warranty? I refusaed to do business with them because they seemed shady to me.

Then I called GRATEFUL AIR CONDITIONING in Port Salerno, FL. I spoke to the owner, Tim. He was very kind and straight forward. After me explaining the situation, he quoted me $800. - $1,000. with the average being $900. His final price was under $1,000.! He took care of getting the warrantied coil from American Standard. His crew removed the bad coil, installed the new one recharged the freon, put the air handler back together professionally and cleaned up well. They even checked out the outside condenser to make sure that it was functioning properly. I will use Grateful Airconditioning for all of my future AC neds. From my experience they're honest, fairly priced and do quality work!

Not sure what happened to this once great company. Had them work on both a commercial space and my residence. In 2023 installed a new unit which went fine, but since then it has been hard to get service and/or any form of support. Just this week, had a service appointment set up for routine maintenance, one hour before the appointment was informed that they technical was now “unavailable” and that I would have to wait for another MONTH before a service call. Pleaded with the customer service representative that I was an existing customer on multiple fronts, that it wasn’t our fault that the technician couldn’t make it and we just can’t wait a month for basic service as the hot season is just starting. Really? I guess this is the best they can do…but it just isn’t good enough for our business.
