Had a Sylvester palm that needed assessment.. it had bronze fronds and was infected …. The arborist Alyssa came out, diagnosed and recommended removal along with vaccine for other Sylvester and 2 royal palms to prevent further damage. She was knowledgeable and professional as was Lindsay who administered the vaccine! Totally recommend and will definitely rely on them in future!

Had savatree come out to trim some old overhanging tree branches, and yes it does look okay. However, the larger branches they cut above my house, they just let fall and hit my roof. Several times. Any reputable tree service would tie the branches and lower them, at least I thought. At least 10 times they let these large branches fall on my roof. Another thing, towards the front of my house I have a large azalea bush. They let these branches fall again, and I see a huge chunk fall onto my azaleas through the ring camera. Before I could realize what was happening one of the guys starts hacking away at my azaleas bush!!! Still pretty pissed about that. I would not recommend this company.

From the moment Alyssa, the trained arborist, stepped foot on my property, to the final raking of the mulch by the stump grinder, nothing but professionalism! I was thoroughly impressed with Dave & Enrique on site with their tactfulness and precision cutting out two of my oaks among palm trees that I did not want to harm. Very skillful with the machines that they work with everyday, especially handling the grapple truck. I felt comfortable through the entire process, and I am a veteran in the commercial industry for 30 years, so I'm very particular and strict on safety.
Excellent organization and competitively priced. I won't use anybody else in the future.

So grateful to have found SavATree. The arborist, Alyssa Harris, was so professional, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. She explained why one tree needed to be removed and the other needed special care. The 2 man team that removed 2 trees were efficient and fast. They hauled away all debris, even some palmetto fronds that I had piled up. Because I am very pleased with the price and happy with this company, I can confidently recommend them.

Alyssa from the Tampa office visited on Feb 20, 2026 to consult on a large maple tree in my front yard. She was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and alleviated all of my concerns about the tree. She gave me a very reasonable proposal with no upselling. This company clearly cares about the trees and their customers. I highly recommend!

This company was hired to take down an oak tree on the adjoining neighbors property. They showed up with all kinds of equipment and crew and took down the tree. After the tree was taken down, they used their wood chipper to blow, sawdust all over my property. Mind you I had nothing to do with the tree being taken down but they chose to shoot Sawdust all over private property.
When I realized what was happening, I went out and talked to one of the crew. He said that they were shooting it into the woods. That was obviously not true.
Apparently, they have no regard for adjoining private property, and just wanted to get their job done and get paid.
Worse yet, even when it was pointed out to them that they were making a mistake and doing something wrong, they did not care.
I would not recommend this company to anybody. If they make a mistake and damage, something, don’t count on them fixing it.
They also used heavy equipment to lift branches and trees into the chipper. That heavy equipment ruined my yard so that instead of a lawn, we now have mud. Mud with tire tracks through it from the heavy equipment.

My Wife and I spent money and effort to make this lawn look nice when we first moved in. Save a tree ruined it in one day.

I contacted Savatree and spoke with the person who answered. I was assured, I would get a return call from a supervisor. No one has ever called me. It’s been approximately one week. They don’t care.

Think twice, maybe three times about hiring this company. If they damage your neighbors lawn, it’ll be on your hands, because they won’t take responsibility for it.

Keith was extremely knowledgeable, honest, and pleasant to talk to. He didn’t try to give us the run around or talk us into anything just to make a buck. A top notch level of professionalism that you don’t see a lot these days. Highly recommend giving him a call to help with your tree needs!

This is now my go to tree company. I thought my trees were goners. Keith took a look and told me what was going on with my plants and shrubs. He did not push anything. He made many simple suggestions and encouraged me to save money. I felt visited by a relative who was a plant expert. WOW

This is my second time working with SavATree and they are always quick to arrive, efficient and do great work. I had a tree limb fall into my kitchen and Keith showed up right away. He was very professional and kind on a day that was very chaotic for me. They were done very quickly too. The second time I hired them to clean up a large tree in my backyard and I may have miscommunicated my expectations. Keith immediately called me back and made sure it was taken care of properly which I was very grateful for. The tree looks so much better now. I love that they care about the health of the trees as well!

I only tend to write reviews when I really LIKE a business, or I really DISLIKE a business. Well, I'm happy to say that I REALLY LIKE Chaz and Ambush Tree Service. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someones that does better work at a fairer price. Showed up when he said he would, did what he said he'd do, and charged what he said he'd charge. Quick responses to text messages. Showed up on time, and was very reliable. One large branch got out of control and damaged a neighbor’s gate, but Chas had it fixed that day to the neighbor’s satisfaction. It was a challenging tree, between two buildings and over wires. Other than a small ding in my very old garage door, he left no evidence he was there. I’d definitely hire him again.

I have used Chas and his crew multiple times now. They do a professional job at a more than reasonable price. They worked late until the job is fully completed And to my liking. This is definitely a reference I would pass on!!

I had a huge tree limb that I thought might be impossible to remove due to its location between homes. With a lot of careful moves Chas did a great job at a really fair price! And to top it of they are really nice people.

Chas and his team went above and beyond! A tree fell on a cable wire and it was more work then we thought to get untangled and he didn't charge us extra. He trimmed our other trees and they look beautiful! Not only does he know about every tree he loves and cares about them. He is more then fair and has a kind and helpful heart. We have lots of trees and I'm sure we will hire him and his team again.

I had Chas come out to cut down some large limbs that hung over my driveway from a neighbors tree. He did an excellent job cutting the limbs back and pruning in such a way that it does not take away from the beauty of the tree, but accomplished my request of eliminating debris from falling on our cars. I would 100% recommend Chas and Ambush Tress Service to anyone in need of tree cutting.

I called ambush after calling a few other places. They got out to me the same day, gave me a great price, and did the work the same day. definitely five star service.the work was great I am very happy with the job. I called Ambush to have someone come out to give me an estimate and have a tree removed and several tree branches trimmed back since we live on a reserve. I was shocked when the owner asked me exactly what I wanted and said he has great reviews on google and is highly rated and would rather me call and get my “other estimates” and then call him when I was serious and ready to do this work right away. Not sure how he runs a business this way, but not my problem since he will not be getting mine!

I called Ambush and was connected with Chaz as a consultant. He was very knowledgeable and told me everything I needed to know about every tree in my yard and how to take care of them. He assisted in having a rotten tree removed from my property. The tree was hanging over my neighbors house and they took it down with no damage to the home. Not only did they level the tree but they cleaned up every stray branch from the yard. I would recommend Chaz and Ambush Tree Service 10/10.
