I called Universal Air & Heat last week, Ray Cox called us to confirm the appt this afternoon and showed up right on time. He gave us a clear explanation of what needed to be done now, what could be done later, prices, etc. He and his manager gave us a great price on the work we wanted done. Luckily he had the parts with him so it's all done in one shot- very convenient!! Highly recommend.

I would like to thank the installer Omar he did a 10 star job by himself. It took a little longer than expected but he made sure every thing was in working order before leaving. Next Universal prices were the best I found with no hidden charges. The whole process was very easy an professional, i would recomend Universal for your ac needs.

I called the company for duct cleaning work and they did a very good job, were careful with the furniture and wore overshoes to protect the floors. Amazingly, they also explained that the work I requested was more than was really needed and saved me money by doing only what was necessary!

Since Purchasing our home in 2010; we have always stuck with Simpson Air as they installed the Unit. I am always a bit skeptical when utilizing a new company; but I saw the add in the Flyer for Universal Air for the duct cleaning and also greatly appreciate the fact that they are military and veteran friendly. Being unfamiliar with the company; of course I googled and read reviews and saw the typical mixed bag which you really have to be cautious with reviews as there will always be those patrons or people that will never be happy no matter what....give them free service plus $1000 and there are those that will complain about the dirt on the floor.

I saw many poor reviews focused around customer service which is the first line of contact; but I understand the personality of a person on the line does not always represent a company or service. I know from being in a customer service business myself; I have at times take my personal items to the office and may have reflected not my best. Its the overall service that is important.

I called and spoke to Marissa and after a few minutes; I asked myself...how in the word could anyone ever complain about the person answering the calls if it was her? After speaking with her; I wish she could be on the other line of all calls I ever make. She was professional, polite, understanding, caring, and had a great sense of humor. Amazing First impression...thank you. I told her about how I felt our air quality was making us ill lately and we scheduled duct cleaning and the AC tune up. I requested a Saturday and she stated the next available was a week away on April 1st. As soon as I told her this was affecting our 10 month old; she said they will do what is needed to get this done this past Saturday the 25th of March. I was given a window of 12-6 which is great CS to care about the health of us and out infant child. (Thank You Marissa)

On Saturday; I received a call around 11 AM from Joe stating he could be here around 11:30 AM. 30 minutes prior to the provided window start time....that was awesome as I am usually waiting ALL day until the end of the window and I honestly expected them here at 6 PM. When Joe arrived; he was great with our 3 dogs (Chow mixes) who recognized he was a good guy as they acted friendly with him. I informed him that the baby was sleeping and he took great care and concern to make as little noise as possible

Joe showed me a few of the vents and they were pretty clean and told me that it did not seem to be the root cause of any AC issues. He then checked the blower motor and low and behold...what a mess. We agreed to clean that up and for duct protection spray for future mildew and mold as the UV light was not in our best interest at this time.

This turned out to be more than anticipated as we planned on the duct cleaning special; but hopefully this keep our air quality healthy and clean and saves in the long run on infant medical expenses. Financially, I can only assume that I got good pricing as I honestly do not know what that service would have cost other than what I was informed by Joe as I have not priced this out with other companies yet. I know AC work can be pricey; so I believe that I was provided a good fair price

As for the reviews for Customer service; I understand there are bad days, but with personnel such as Marissa and Joe...it is difficult to believe there would ever be complaint's. Thank you both for your consideration and understanding of our little one and our AC needs. Both of you made us feel like welcomed friends rather than just another customer.

Been using Universal AC for many years. They repaired my old unit, installed both of my new units and are fast, professional and work clean. From ownership to the technicians all are great! I am happy to endorse them strongly.

Ray did an excellent (and hard) work on cleaning 10 vents - we finally have great air quality in the home (however, quite surprisingly, both he and I missed a vent located near ground level. My little daughter found it after the event - and I had to clean it out myself). Dryer vent cleaning included as well. Of course, he ended up selling me some extras (like the mold blaster treatment in the air vent) - but c'mon you have to realize that the pricing on that vent cleaning 'Gold Package' doesn't even begin to cover their cost and labor (others in the area charge many times more). I had some concerns when I ordered the job, but Ray acted pro and put them to rest. Would recommend

Leo and Victor were extremely informative, professional, and effective. They did an awesome job on my unit left it looking like new. Anyone who needs excellent A/C work, do yourself a big favor, check out these guys 👍!!

Great Company and Excellent Service. Had A/C installed last year, small issue this year but they took care of it. Richard was great. Also, had my dryer vent cleaned - very pleased with them. They get my highest rating. Very hard to get good service - they are great!!

I had an excellent experience with Universal Air and received outstanding customer service from the technician Ray Cox. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He patiently took the time to articulate what he was doing in a manner that made sense and was easy to understand, more than adequately answering the many questions that I had. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

We originally had a technician come out for an advertised discount on Duct cleaning because we had been having issues with dust in our vents. We fully expected to be charged more for the advertised service. Boy were we wrong! We were charged the discounted price and the technician after hearing our concerns and health issues, went above and beyond finding and repairing a much more serious issue with before and after photos showing us what was repaired. Our ac had been blowing mold through the ducts and into the air because of a lazy ac repair job the year before. Thank you so much!

Richard is amazing!!!! I have a water cooled AC (geothermal) unit, which is super rare in Tampa (Richard is literally the only one who can work on this IN Tampa) and had issues with the drain, and then because of the over flow from the drain it shorted the contacter. Then the pvc pipes that transport the water busted, Richard fixed that with so much care, literally coming back a couple times when there were small leaks and reconfiguring it to perform more efficiently. THEN the transformer blew, and he drove all the way back to the central location to get a new one and install it at 7:30 PM on a Friday. I like that Universal Air & Heat is reliable and price-friendly, but I just LOVE Richard’s work and dedication to doing it the right way, no matter how long it takes. Thanks SOOO much Richard!!

This is literally the only company I want servicing my AC unit! We love our new unit! The installation technician, Osay (?), was great! He was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions throughout the installation. I can tell you in just 3 days since the installation, our energy usage has decreased by almost half! All around, happy campers! Thank you you so much! For any maintenance or cleaning in the future, you can guarantee we will be in touch with UAH.

First they made me angry and I had written a bad review for them. This company give value to their customers. We were not in the house almost a year, so I did not want to turn the AC on before making necessary cleanings. After several calls from the management, I accept to get the service because they were trying to do it right. I own a business, too. These reviews should aim to make contributions for businesses not to harm them. Today Roy and his colleague came and did a perfect job. They cleaned the air ducts and coil and blower. Also I added the microbiological cleaning to our HVAC system after keeping the house closed for a long time, it was needed. We can turn on AC now and breath safely. If something goes wrong, management tries to fix it. This policy of a company is very important for sustainability. I am not an easy customer and I do not write reviews often. I recommend Universal Air and Heat.

Called them on a whim just thinking I may need my ducts cleaned since I hadn't since we moved here 7 years ago and we have dogs. Their straightforward pricing seemed reasonable. I was pleasantly impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. They did an incredible job and their attention to detail was perfection. Everything was checked, removed and replaced with no mess left behind. So glad I called them in. Well worth it for the health if your family and pets.

My Air Quality specialist was Ray Cox, he came out on time and ready to work. He was well informed and knowledgeable, he answered all of my questions in a professional manner. I had quite a few questions since we have a 5 year old and are pregnant I had concerns about our air quality. The price was exactly as quoted, the service was timely and was less than an hour. We will definitely be reaching out again in the future for repeat service!! Thank you again Ray!

The salesman was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He arrived on time and gave us a really good deal on a well known air conditioner. The technician who installed it was on time, worked quickly to remove the 26 year old system and replace it with the new system including all pipes, insulation, air handler, drip pan and thermostat. He cleaned and sanitized the air ducts and installed a new filter. The system is working as advertised and I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the work done by this company. Thanks to the whole team!!!!!

This company is amazing! Ray came out at the promised time and completely changed the air quality of my home. I was in serious need of an air duct cleaning and he cleaned out every single vent inside and out. He also deep cleaned the coils of my unit, which were completely filthy. And he did all this for such a great price! I am so happy with their service and will definitely be calling them for anything related to my A/C in the future.

Our service technician was Don. What a nice man!! We scheduled air duct cleaning. He arrived on time and was very pleasant. He took his time and showed us each component of our system which ultimately didn't need to be cleaned at this time. He could have pushed us like a used car salesman but he called corporate and let them know our decision. I highly recommend and ask for DON!!!!

Mike and Marty just finished the installation of my new Rheem A/C. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, friendly and genuinely nice to talk to.
They did an amazing job, and had the system up and running in a matter of hours.
I got four estimates, then I saw the ad they sent out in the mail. They beat my best estimate by more than $1000!!!!!
I can’t say enough good things about Mike and Marty, the office staff, and this company in general.
Do yourself some good and give them a call. You won’t be disappointed.

The appointment process was easy and fast. The assigned professional, Simon, was on time and very knowledgeable. The price was fair and the service was speedy. I have confidence that the job was done thoroughly and I am very grateful that he didn't leave a mess! If you are worried about if the air you are breathing is healthy, then why not call Universal Air & Heat to clean your ducts and vents? Our lungs are our filters, don't regret not doing it, even if you rent.
