Tree reviews in Tampa, Florida

I use Darrell all the time. After the recent hurricane I had a tree fall on my pool cage. I called Darrell in the morning and he was there within a hour to give me a quote and get the job done. I love using Darrell because know you will get a fair price and good work.

I needed some land cleared and am so glad that I went with Darrell’s! They did a clean job and were fairly priced. Great company to use.Extremely easy to work with and excellent communication from the initial quote consultation to scheduling and service. Everything was taken care of in a prompt professional manner! They also offer many services.

Update: 6/27/25 Returning customer. Same great service. So responsive! Appreciate this company’s work. Have used Darrell’s several times. They are responsive, honest, and fairly priced. They follow through and make it easy. Wish more companies did business with values like this. Highly recommend!

Darrell’s Landscaping & Tree Services is an excellent company providing essential services for the clients in the community! Darrell is always listening to my requests/wishes and he is very flexible in the scheduling of work. In my multi year experience, the quality of work itself is at the high end in my expectations. Highly recommended and much appreciated!!

Very good job. I will definitely continue to use the services of Darrell’s Landscaping.

I was very pleased with the level of customer service and the quality of their work. Darrell responded to my initial phone call, scheduled an appointment and also called to confirm the day before. On the scheduled date, the team showed up on time and accessed the job. Darrell then discussed with me his course of action, I approved and the team went to work. After cutting, the team was very through in their clean up procedure. I have recommended Darrel’s service to family and friends. Great Job!

Darrell's Landscaping removed a palm tree in my front yard. They were very professional and priced fairly. Looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

I met Darrell six years ago when we moved to new Tampa. His company came with an excellent recommendation from our neighbors for his work on the palm trees 🌴. Next we had Darrell do all of our trees and also took over our lawn service and grooming of our property. Darrell is attentive to detail, does amazing work, and we have been thrilled to have him take care. He also does great power washing and is meticulous. I am delighted to recommend Darrell’s landscaping to anyone that cares for excellent, consistent, meticulous lawn, and tree service. Our property looks amazing!!🤩

Darrell has the best price around! He did a fantastic job and was very professional. We had 2 trees cut down and a lot of debris from the previous storm. They did a great job removing everything and cleaning up. Will definitely be calling again and would 100% recommend.

I called them to remove a tree from the backyard of my house in Tampa that was starting to lean over the roof and they did an amazing job. I recommend hiring them if you need trees removed.

We had a great experience with Darrell's Tree Service. The work was excellent, the price was very fair, and the entire experience with Darrell and his respectful crew was great. Darrel answered all of our questions and made great suggestions. We found our tree guy, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. We were glad to find out that he also does landscaping work. After wrapping up with the tree work, we began talking about landscaping improvements. Darrell was awesome to talk to - he began by finding out about what we like, and then talked us through some ideas/possibilities that fit with our preferences and his professional experience. We are looking forward to potentially working with him on this project as well.

We are extremely pleased with the service provided by Darrell’s crew. They removed limbs that were threatening our roof as well as cleared the grounds in our back yard, allowing for a beautiful view of the wooded preserve. We highly recommend them.

Darrell’s tree trimming service is fantastic. Darrell & his people did exactly what he said he would do and More! He is extremely conscientious about the work he & people perform. Reasonable & personable. He’s the Best we’ve ever used in our 20 years in Hunters Green!

Darrell’s landscaping and tree services did an excellent job trimming and cleaning my trees and palms. They gave me suggestions on what to do for my landscape to look better and they did it! They were careful and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend this company!

The exceptional value they delivered was immediately clear. This crew truly provides a whole solution, ensuring every detail of the job is addressed. They went above and beyond, demonstrating incredible professionalism and a commitment to leaving the site immaculate—I was thoroughly impressed by their attention to detail and the fact they didn't leave a single branch or piece of debris behind it was like the tree was never there. They are the definition of an all-inclusive, premium service."

Darrell always communicates back when you call or leave a message. He comes to your house when he says he will and he cuts your trees EXACTLY how you ask. He cleans up the area nicely and we really like his work in Sevwn Oaks!

We love Darrell! He is always quick and reasonably priced. After Milton we had a tree on our pool cage and he was at our house within an hour with a crew to get it taken care of which was one less thing we had to worry about during storm clean up.

Highly recommend! Price was reasonable for the amount of work that was done. Darrell was punctual and courteous, great communication and transparent about everything. His professionalism made it a great experience. He did a beautiful job and will use him again in the future.

Darrell did a great job mulching my yard and replacing some dead plants after the freeze. I let him take charge and plant what he thought would look best and came through as promised. Will definitely use him again for future landscaping jobs. He is responsive and responsible. It is great to have a person like him in your back pocket for outdoor needs.

Darrell was in the neighborhood and I saw his crew and stopped him to ask for a quote. He was very friendly and walked right over. He offered recommendations, provided an affordable quote, and could start work that day. His crew did a quick and efficient job with a hurricane cut for all of our queen palms. He even offered to cut our robellini, and to clean up our Magnolia that was hanging over our house for a decent price. Our trees look so much nicer, and we feel safer without all the over hanging limbs. Will definitely use Darrell’s for future landscaping and tree needs.

Darrell’s Landscaping and Tree Service did an amazing job with the palm tree trimming, landscape cleaning, and hedge work. Everything looks clean, fresh, and beautifully maintained.
The attention to detail really shows and Darrell was able to see my vision and bring it to life.
Next step once the Florida cold weather subsides will be replacing and refreshing the sod. So excited to complete the transformation.
Highly recommend Darrell and his Crew Team. 🌴✨
