Call the power company on this company every time you see them. They destroy, liter, and waste company time.

They trimmed the trees just threw the limbs and branches on the lawn just left them there not just my lawn they did it to everyone else in the neighborhood

Might be a a good tree surgeon, if you can keep the drivers from pulling out in front of you and try to run people off the road.

Very rude employees to the point they were swearing at me. That was totally uncalled for. And yes, they don't return calls.

Very rude and pushy employees. Parked the trucks anywhere they wanted, and completely butchered every tree they touched. One star is too much.

No respect for property at all. Pulled out and threw our company yard signs on the ground and then proceeded to not only drive over them but walk all over them, as well. It was intentional and malicious. Shame on Duke Energy for doing business with these fools.

The first two stars are for the "actual" tree trimmer crews, the last three would have been for the guy that forgot to use his blower and rake to clean up afterwards.

Left a huge piece of machinery in my front yard and when they finally moved it they tore up a huge spot of my yard. I usually would just fix it but my house was being shown by realtors that weekend and there was this machinery in the front yard. They came out to fix the yard but it didn't look any better than when they started. I don't understand how they can leave a huge piece of machinery in my yard yes inside the fence without even asking if it was ok. I wouldn't have cared if I wasn't trying to sale that weekend.

They had the audacity to park their equipment in my yard and tear up my driveway along with the yard and park in my yard for 3 days without even asking me or paying me for storage. I have a 24 foot enclosed trailer that I couldn’t get into my own driveway with cause there equipment was in my way😡 no consideration at all. Guess I’ll be joining the club for negative reviews

Working for Duke Energy 3/6/18 they have clear cut my privacy hedge row to the ground. They trimmed tree limbs and threw branches into my huge beautiful barely blooming azaleas and bridle wreaths for 300 feet along my drive, smashing them and beating off all the open blooms and buds ready to bloom. I am livid. I only got an apology and a promise to clean up the mess!
What about the flowers that will take until NEXT YEAR to bloom again? What about my privacy hedge that would never have been tall enough to hinder power lines? Now everyone that drives by can see my not so private back porch and right into my living room!

Burford is a fly-by-night outfit hired by Duke Energy. A large crew (8-9 men) came into our fenced backyard yesterday, to trim trees from near the power lines. Nobody on the crew spoke English, and communicating with them was next to impossible. Their crew knows how to climb, but they apparently know nothing about trees, judging by the way they cut the few branches they cut.. And again this morning, at 7:30, two of their guys came into our yard, UNANNOUNCED.

GOING INTO BACKYARDS UNANNOUNCED, ESPECIALLY AT 7:30 AM, IS A GOOD WAY TO GET A DOG-BITE, OR SHOT.

And they do not answer their office phone. Seeing all the horrible reviews they get, can understand why.

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism from this company after finding them trespassing on private property in lakeland today. I walked out into my yard to find a crew of men had been dropped over our 6ft chain link fence and CLOSED AND LOCKED electric gate by the bucket lift on the truck. They said they were cleaning up the debris they dropped from cutting the trees back off the power lines from the road. Their excuse was, “we didn’t think anybody was home,” as if that excuses trespassing. The professional thing to do would be to leave a note on the CLOSED AND LOCKED gate apologizing and explaining the reasoning for the debris or trying to find a phone number to call to get permission to come on to the property to clean up. Going over a 6ft fence and closed gate without permission is completely unacceptable for any reason.

Hired by central Florida electric to trim trees. Left the tree limbs in my yard & said that it was the owners response to pick them up per contract. I called and complained. They said they were sending a different crew to pick the limbs up. Then when I told the new crew that they were doing the work of the first guys that didn’t follow through with their job, they called the office. Those guys decided that would not allow the company to make them be the “go behind guys”, for a very capable but lazy & mistrustful crew that had originally not followed through and completed their job. Despite my complaints, they never did send the original crew out or anyone else to complete the job.

Utterly ridiculous and unacceptable!!!!!!

I live in Port Saint Lucie. This guy pulled up in his big tree trimming truck at about 10:15am, took about an hour to set up his caution cones and flags. Then he disappeared for a while in the shade. Just when I thought he was about to start working (about 11:40am) he grabbed his lunch bucket and chair and parked his butt under a tree In my yard. (His"eventual" job is across the street) and has been sitting there for over an hour. I can't believe people get paid for this.
