In Florida, we are not afraid of gators and snakes, we are afraid of no AC in the middle of summer !!
Our AC was the original from the purchase of the house 2006. It served us well, but after many, many repairs- it was time 🪦
After trying 2 other companies, Ahoy came to the rescue.
We were given excuses of “supply shortages” and “shipping delays” since October 2023 from other companies.
I sat with Adam, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions completely.
We had several other issues with our duct work that also needed to be addressed. Mystery ducts going to the garage, ( the previous owners had a salon in the garage) that were never cut off.
Connecting ducts were smaller than they should’ve been. Triangle ducts with 5 attachments - I could go on.
Ahoy upgraded our Halo system, sealed our duct work, added 2 returns, replaces our system but most of all - came through quickly, professionally and efficiently.
Offered the install for the next day !!
Now, i know what AC actually feels like. I haven’t felt that in over 15 years.
I would strongly recommend AHoy AC again and again !! 😃

I am in the market for a new a/c unit and had Ahoy come out to give me an estimate. The tech that arrived was Danny and he was fantastic! Very informative and took his time to explain everything very clearly. He never made me feel like he was rushing to give me a quick quote and go home. If you need service or a new unit, give them a try. I was very satisfied with today's visit and highly recommend Danny!

Today Ahoy rep Nik Stiffler came for routine inspection/maintenance, my first since new unit was installed. He was on time, friendly and went about his tasks with competence. He answered my questions and made useful suggestions about my HVAC system.

Overall a continuing good experience with AHOY.

Awesome experience with this company! Very professional process from quotation to installation. Best price and quickset install. New AC unit was up and running - with no issues - in about 5 hours. Also provided a 5-year maintenance/warranty option at a reasonable price.

On time and friendly he had no problem answering any of my questions while he diagnosed our issue.
He ran a full diagnostic and
within 45 minutes the repair was completed and our home started cooling❄️ down .

Our old system (not from ahoy) broke mid July and it felt just as hot inside as it was outside. Chris came to our unit (the owner Adam stopped by too - they service the most units in our building!) and worked on it for a while with the most positive attitude despite it feeling a hundred degrees inside! They told us we were going to need to replace the unit (we ended up doing this) but somehow Chris got our old one to work for the time being. Wonderful service and their staff are all amazing. Couldn’t recommend Ahoy more.

Chris from Ahoy came out and serviced our air conditioner unit at our office. He was very informative, friendly and made me feel completely at ease. He gave us several options for our unit. I don’t think it would be possible to find a better representative of the company than Chris. He is a patient kind, very knowledgeable individual who cares deeply about his customers and their well-being. He came in and diagnosed the problem. He then proceeded to educate me on the care and maintenance of my system. I’m very grateful for all he did. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone who’s looking for answers to air-conditioning issues. They are all incredibly professional and knowledgeable.

They sent out two guys to service our central unit and our mini-split in the bedroom. They did a good job and communicated with us. We even shared some of our common experiences in Alaska.

Adam was very knowledgeable and courteous. He answered all our questions and was willing to go above and beyond by doing extra work to help turn our garage into a more functional pottery studio. He always returns calls immediately. The installers of my split ac unit did a great job.

We just had a great experience with Chris! We noticed a leak in our ceiling and could tell that it was coming from our air unit. We called early this morning (8am) and had Chris at our house sometime before 10am.

Chris was quick to provide an initial diagnoses and provide us with several options (and different price ranges!) - he was able to resolve our immediate issue the same day and boy are we glad we don't have to go a night without air condition!

We would absolutely recommend Ahoy Cooling&Heating and will continue to work directly with them on any future cooling needs.

Took a minute, but thorough run down of the issues and my options towards fixing it. Nik was great, would work with again.

House came with a shoddily installed AC on the 2nd floor. Zach helped me diagnose the multiple problems over the year and ultimately helped me pick out the proper AC unit for my needs. Him, and his installers Wilfredo and Edgar were quick and efficient to properly install my new AC. It's much quieter and efficient. Zach even hooked me up with a remote sensor to allow my Google nest thermostat to cool to the sensor instead of just the thermostat. Thanks!

November 30th, 2022 update:
AC works great, but needed some tweaks to the programming as it sometimes thought there was a problem and shut down the condenser for safety. And while I'm glad it does that, this wasn't a real problem and falsely triggered when I changed the mode on the thermostat. They came out to adjust the programming and installed an upgrade for free to help mitigate this mode change issue.

I recently had my a/c 6 month check-up. The young man Adam sent (Nick) to do maintenance on my unit was very respectful by addressing me as sir. He had clean speech and his appearance was tidy. He asked me about others suggestion for the unit, I told him I heard them before .I told him I'm fine with the services that I have now , he accepted my thoughts on the matter. I told Nick I do not like people pushing additional service on me that I didn't ask for. He responded ok and I understand. He said If I had any questions to reach out to him or the company. My 6 months maintenance was late for some reason, but it was rectify quickly and the staff apologize for the mixed up. My system is running smoothly so I'm pleased with the maintenance care of my unit so far.

Outstanding customer service. Very clear communication about everything done and why. Knowledge background is far better than one would get from most companies.

Nick and Dakota did a great job checking on all of the AC units in our house. They took a ton of photos of the units and duct work and demonstrated immense detail in determining how well the units were operating. Will likely be replacing the units based on their information.
