Ignored several calls to discuss project. I got the feeling the project wasn't within his scope and rather than passing on the job via a discussion, he ignored my calls/texts. I have no idea if they do good work, just seems to me a bad way to pass on a job if you have no interest.

Templar and Joey Deeb were very knowledgeable about what I needed to do with all that came with the remodel process. Communicative, professional, and knowledgeable. Great company!

I was extremely pleased with the quality of work done by Templar and all of their subcontractors. My project manager kept me updated and worked with me every step of the way. I would use Templar again in a heartbeat.

Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Regan of Templar Contracting. I was in the process of buying a 1957 fixer upper house with a FHA 203k loan and Regan met me there to do an estimate for repairs. I was immediately impressed because he was upfront about cost of contracted repairs (I'm a DIYer) and through our dicussion, I felt I was dealing with a WYSIWYG person with integrity.

He let me know he was there to hear my dream about the house, and as we walked from room-to-room, I could tell he knew what he was talking about.

After working our way through the inside of the house, my spirits were a little lifted thinking this rehab might be doable. However, when we went outside to inspect the "3rd room addition," I learned that this addition had T1-11 siding that had rotted away due to water damage over time, causing expansion and rot. Rather than just replacing the siding, Regan advised me that in his experience, the boards under the T1-11 were probably rotten as well, which basically meant it would need to be rebuilt, and furthermore, since it also appeared to be an unpermitted conversion of an enclosed porch, fixing this would add significantly to my rehab budget.

And if this wasn't enough, as we were inspecting this addition, Regan discovered that the cast iron sewer clean out pipe was crushed!! Fixing this would require replacing the sewer line from the house to the public sewer line. He also speculated that the pipes under the house would need to be replaced since they obviously had been exposed to air and had detoriated.

Needless to say, I was more than surprised since I had already had another contractor out to give me a bid and he didn't catch this. I canceled my contract and am still on the hunt for my new house. I will definitley give them a call for their expert opinion on repairs needed for the next one.

I'm so GRATEFUL to have met Regan and truly believe that the "shield" of Templar Contracting saved me from a potential money pit purchase. I highly recommend Templar contracting!!

Great company ran by great guys. Joey and Regan are two top notch individuals and have extensive knowledge In this industry. They truly care about the customers, and I’ve personally seen them direct customers to an alternative saving them tons of money, when they could’ve just took the job themselves.

Scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for new flooring and possible outdoor kitchen. Joey or Joe (he said he shared the same name as the owner) came out and measured, and said it would take about two weeks for a quote. After about four weeks w no communication, I called. They apologized and said they had a family emergency. But they promised to get me the quote a week later. It’s been about a month since the phone convo, and nothing. No email, no phone calls regarding a quote. Just wondering, why do you waste your time and potential customers time if you’re not planning on following through? Are you bored and just want to visit peoples homes for fun? What a joke.

I had Regan come by to see if he could help me figure out what is going on in my home. He was very knowledgeable and gave me the comfort I needed to help me get to the next step. Our house has so many issues I just felt lost but not only was he able to renew my hope he has followed up to make sure we were getting everything set up properly for the next step. We are currently dealing with a disaster but Regan has renewed my faith that there are great contractors that still truly care about helping people! I highly recommend Templar Contracting! Highly reccommend. They did everything they said they would on time and for a reasonable price. They remodeled my whole house; kitchen, bathrooms, all the floors, ceilings, crown molding, electric, plumbing. Because we moved out while they worked, time was an issue because we were renting while they worked. And they got everything done, in the time they said they would, and everything still looks great 3 years later. Exactly what we wanted. And they put up with me and my perfectionist personality. I highly reccomend. If I had to do it again, I'd hire them in a heartbeat. If they'd put up with me again!

The experience with Templar Contracting was very positive. The approach of the company is to allow the customer to be as involved as they choose to be which we appreciated.
The sub-contractors that handled all of our tile, sheet rock and plumbing were exceptional. All of the personnel that worked in our home were respectful and treated our house as a home - not a construction site.
The result of having Templar manage our renovation was beyond our original expectation.

Joey and his team are AMAZING. I had a few home projects and didn’t know where to even begin. They really helped me plan everything out , very patient with me throughout the whole process . They weren’t cheapest quote I received but they lived up to every expectation. Quality work!!! I highly recommend them.

Let’s face it, if remodeling and construction was easy everyone would do it themselves. It is not always a straight line from point A to point B. This is true in life, and construction. One thing is for sure, Templar Contracting(Joey) will deliver a phenomenal, finished product regardless of any obstacles in the way. His family has been in construction for over 80 years. This does not happen by accident. If you are looking for cheap and quick, move on. If you want something done the right way your search is over. I know Joey personally uses his tradesman on his own home, and the projects are managed as if it was his own home.

Templar and Mr Deeb are professionalism and craftsmanship at their absolute best. The attention to detail we have witnessed firsthand on job sites is truly amazing.
We highly recommend this company for all additions, new builds and complete renovations. You heard the phrase Commitment to Excellence; well Templar defines it.

Joe and the guys are excellent to deal with. Prices are sky high but he tried his best to keep them under control. The project was completed per time schedule (despite the best efforts of the County) and I couldn't be happier. Even the gentleman from the bank where I got the loan commented on how good the construction was. I will definitely keep them on speed dial if I ever decide to build something again.

I have been working with Templar Contracting as a customer and trade partner for the past 4 years. Joey and his team are the best, we had been looking for a contractor to take on our addition pool install outdoor areas, most people wouldn’t even follow up after, maybe it was to much for them, not sure..
not only did they knock this out of the park, but my wife isn’t easy to make happy and she loved them throughout the whole process..

We contracted with Templar to remodel our entire home. Everything. That included a reimagined and re-engineered kitchen and great room, a new bathroom, and starting from scratch in our existing bathrooms. We moved walls, windows, doors, headers, electrical, plumbing, etc. Regan, Joey, Joe, and everyone we encountered at Templar are hard working, dependable, honest, and thorough. We had high expectations for our home and we were blown away by the result. This was a big project and we uncovered some challenges as we went along. Templar was flexible and worked with us to get the best possible outcomes. We’ve had some supply chain challenges just like everyone else and Templar is still showing up after the job is “substantially complete” to make things right or install something that has taken months to arrive like lights or ceiling fans.

We’ve been so happy with their work that we’ve signed another contract with them to work on our back porch. We highly recommend their work and we’re friends with them after completion.
