The administrative part of this company is absolutely terrible. The office worker named Heather did not disclose a “travel fee” after she told me I would only be charge for the first hour charge plus equipment and any additional hour after that. The electrician was a nice gentleman and was very helpful. If you need electrically work I would steer clear of this sneaky company if you don’t want to have extra charges added after the work is done.

I was shopping around for the best electrician in Palm Beach county because I had a serious problem with many sockets in my home. I called around and most companies wanted ridiculous amounts of money just to come take a look. As soon as I contacted IM Electric, I noticed the how they treated me like a friend and not a dollar bill. They came over the same day and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend their service to anyone.

I have had a dishartening experience with IM Electric this week. I have used them in the past many times and I have always found them professional and adequately priced.
I called them earlier this week to get some prices to install either a wall charger or a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage to charge an EV. When inquiring about the price to install the NEMA 14-50 (instead of a fixed wall charger), Greg (the owner) and the person who answers the phones both accused me of asking them to install something illegal and risking to set my house and car on fire. They ended up refusing to give me a quote alltogether. Of course, NEMA 14-50s are a recommended way to charge EVs by all manufacturers as a simple Google search will demonstrate.
It was a very strange experience and I was very hurt that they were implying I wanted to do something illegal. I think they are not educated on EV charging and Greg became very defensive instead of trying to learn something he was not knowledgeable of. The way they accused me was very hurtful and I can't picture myself calling them again in the future.

Needed two electronically panels replaced for my property. IM Electric and there team were amazing, patient, and responsive no matter how dumb my questions were. If you’re looking a honest, integral, and reputable company please look no further. Ask for Amy!! You won’t be disappointed.

Greg and his crew were fantastic. Greg came to my house, listened to what I wanted done, and provided a quote.

His crew then showed up and did exactly what they said they would. Then they left my house as clean as it was when they came.

Greg and Amy are an excellent team to work with. I was managing a project remotely and we had difficulty locating an outdated breaker panel that required replacement. They were extremely patient throughout the process and did not charge excessive fees while helping narrow down the scope of work. Their pricing was fair, communication was clear and consistent, and they never tried to upsell services we didn’t need. Both my client and I will absolutely be using them again in the future.

Star Electrical Contractors was really nice and very helpful. They came to fix a dryer plug on a Saturday in a house we just moved into and we found out that a previous inspector was wrong about a dangerous electrical panel. We would definitely hire them again.

Nick suggested very reasonable setup for my current situation keeping in mind some forward-looking upgrades that I might decide to do. Prompt messages/calls responses. On-line tracking process. Credit card payments and courtesy of handling all permits on my behalf. Definitely will call them again for any electrical services I might need in the future

I have dealt with various contractors for repairs since I became a home owner. I was extremely impressed with the level of service, promptness and communication I received from Star Electrical Contractors when they came to fix an electrical problem in our house.Nick worked with us to track down the issues and did the service work for us. Will definitely use again in the future.

Have been using Wayne and his employees since first opening , for additional electric service, fix outside main breaker panel , wiring in hot Tub, latest electrical hookup for sprinkler pump , knowledge employees , always great attitude , highly recommend them

I was extremely impressed with north county electric, the electricians they sent were knowledgeable courteous and extremely efficient. I had some work that needed done in my kitchen and they treated it as if it was their own. I hope that north county electric is here as long as I am so I know I have a reliable and honest company I can trust.

Wayne and his guys were wonderful. They were recommended by the company installed my pool heater. They did the hook up and put an extra outlet on the patio to mount a TV. They were reasonably priced, on time, and when we had a problem the owner (Wayne) came out himself the next day to fix it.

I have been using North County for the last 10 years for anything we have needed for electric work. They have done a panel change, moved light switches, installed fans, ran power to an outdoor tiki hut, installed exterior flood lights, up lights on our palm trees.

Recently had them switch all of our can lights to LED. They were able to handle a challenging flat roof and add 9 LED lights to our back living room. They also mounted 3 TVs hid the wires and CLEANED UP. I would recommend Wayne, George and the rest of the team anytime.

Mike came out and “fixed” our problem immediately. Turned out to be a circuit breaker. He was personable, prompt and friendly and competent! I would highly recommend him to anyone!
