Terrible experience with this company overall. Office staff is very nice and responsive, however techs and electricians are not very experienced. We received an initial estimate, a secondary visit from a different tech who was in complete disagreement with the job and a third tech that admittedly had never done the the type of job requested. The job became much more expensive. The company runs like a large corporation vs a small company. Do yourself a favor and find a small local company you trust.

Excellent experience. They saved our Thanksgiving !!! The whole team were very responsive regarding our situation. They whole acted like true professionals. They actually sent Fernando earlier than expected to make sure they got the job done.
They are our go to electricians for now on.

I had four small to medium size electric repair jobs, none of which they actually managed to handle.

The ugly: they sent a slovenly electrician who said he didn’t know how to do… anything, from rewriting a faulty connector to fixing under cabinet lights.

The better: they didn’t charge me for the visit and said they’d send replacement staff.

The bad: they never sent a replacement, didn’t return my calls, and were generally useless in getting my job completed.

Time to start over on the search for a competent technician…

Today I got installed an FPL program EV charger. FPL contracted this company and Ben came to install it. Very smooth process. Quick installation, open to accomodate to stuff like location of charger and cable holster. He did explaing how it work and checked that the app and the charger were set as I prefer. Awesome!!. Will recomend this guys.

I am the facilities electrician at max Planck FL institute in Jupiter, FL. we have used carpenter electric to do our arch flash assessment and some of our larger projects. from the top to the bottom carpenter electric is a very friendly, knowledgeable company that strides to make the customer happy. We first met with Jonathan at our home to discuss our project to rewire all the electric wiring, switches, outlets, and add outlets where needed.
We discussed how the job would proceed and Jonathan consulted with the project manager, Miguel. Jonathan’s estimate was on the high side of our budget but very doable. We chose Carpenter Electric because of Miguel’s understanding of what we wanted and his plan to execute.
The tech Daniel worked in our house for 5 weeks. He was very courteous, professional and nearly became part of our family.
We highly recommend using Carpenter Electric’s services.

These guys are Dangerous! I’m on i95 and this guy is LITERALLY swerving in and out of traffic! He just cut someone off going 70 to slow down in front of a truck and trailer and slows down to ~60. THEN HE DID IT AGAIN! Wow, I’ve never seen such blatant reckless driving in a “company” vehicle

Carpenter Electric saved Christmas for my family!

On Christmas Eve, I lost power to my entire home. I have 2 young kids under 5, so my wife and I were frantic. I am NOT exaggerating when I say that I must've called 10-12 electricians, all suggested by Google, to come out for an emergency service. Nobody was available. Half of them didn't even return my calls, or never called back after placing me on hold.

I finally called Carpenter Electric after remembering their company from word-of-mouth. The agent who took my call was helpful and sympathetic, and I was immediately transferred to the on-call electrician (Randy), who told me that he could be at my home within the hour. He arrived quickly in the timeframe that he specified, and he got right to work diagnosing our problem and answering my questions. Our power was restored within 20 minutes of his arrival. Pricing was very fair, even considering the emergency/holiday rates.

I can't thank Carpenter Electric enough for their responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to come out to us on Christmas Eve. It truly does feel like they saved Christmas for my family. My emergency service experience aside, I've only ever heard good things about them from people I know who are acutely familiar with contractors in this space. Without hesitation, I'll give Carpenter the first call for all of my electrician needs going forward.

Jose from Carpenter Electric came to my 2nd story condo in Palm Springs, FL on Friday May 31st. My AC had been out for a couple of months. I had 3 different AC companies and another electrical company come diagnose my problems before Jose showed up. None of the other AC companies or electrical companies wanted to fix my problem. My 24 volt thermostat wires were burnt in two in my conduit. Jose spent 8 hours trying to fix my problem on May 31st. He came back on Friday June 7th and he brought Hared along wish him. Both men worked tirelessly to remove my old 1/2" conduit and installed new conduit. They also ran 5 new wires, 3 for the power and 2 for the 24 volt thermostat wiring. Jose and Jared had my AC up and running the same afternoon. These Men are not afraid of hard work and they fixed my problem. I would not hesitate to use Carpenter Electric for anything electrical and I highly recommend them!!

To Carla at Carpenter Electric you are such a lifesaver. You where there for me when I was in a desperate need. You was able to move some things around to provide me the up most service. Had a broken outlet that it turns out had wiring issues from a previous owner. My electrician was Jared Oberg, he fixed it no problem and went the extra mile to ensure none of the other lights were affected from the extra wires. Super nice and excellent service, 10/10 recommend

My previous review shown below was based on FPL giving me false information, stating that this company should have been the one to contact me. FPL doesn’t use this company in my area, and another company had failed to contact me.

They are contractors hired by Fpl to install the evolution home chargers. I have been waiting well over a month for even an install date from them. Absolutely no contact are response them. But apparently they lied to Fpl and told Fpl I had cancelled my appointment. I did not, I am desperate to get the charger installed. If you are listening Carpenter Electric please please please reach out asap

We used Carpenter electric to help out in finishing a store in Royal Poinciana, there were a lot of challenges that were not on the original plans and many changes derived from client changes. It took a few days and everything worked perfectly, special shout out to Denis, who stuck with us and took care of all the additional troubleshooting needed to finish, a great thanks to Orlando as well, he was able to locate additional parts needed on a very timely manner! Keep up the good work.

Carpenter Electric is our vendor for many years. The loyalty and work ethic is above and beyond. All that I deal with from owner to office are great. When scheduling an appointment, i have spoke with a few different people. Mostly, I talk with Carla. All are great to talk to. Carla, with me, goes over and beyond because she takes down notes in detail then speaks them back to make sure precise issues. The communication is amazing and she is always in a great mood and willing to help in anyway

We had an FPL EV Charger installed By Ben from Carpenter Electric and he was very professional got to the house at the appointment time even texted me he was on the way!! Ben did a very professional job had all the tools and the install looks great on my home. He explained everything I needed to know got me to link the app on my phone to the charger and explained how to use it in language this old guy could understand - Ben is an asset to your company I’m sure you realize this anyway thank you Ben great job !!

I had a stressful morning as a community manager with half of my apartment community with an electrical issue. I called and spoke to Carla whom I have never met or spoke to before. Her professionalism and kindness during this stressful time made me feel warm and fuzzy! It's not every day you meet someone with such an accommodating and comforting approach. Carpenter electric installed my FPL EV charger. The technician Andrew was FANTASTIC! He messaged me when he was on his way and he was spot on with his ETA. He was willing to explain everything and made sure all of our questions were answered. I wish I could give him 10 stars!

We have been using Carpenters for decades on dozens of homes and commercial properties we own. Always extremely satisfied.
Just recently we had a power surge at or B&B estate. Randy came right out and fixed everything while guests were out shopping. All fixed before guests got back.... Awesome hero Randy!!!
