I have a 50 KW commercial grade home standby generator. It needed a new transfer switch among a few other malfunctioning items with the Genset. I bought the unit 14 years ago from Caterpillar. The unit was made in Spain and no one new much about the unit. Michael the service tech from Complete Power Resources was able to provide a transfer switch which he had to retrofit other component parts to adapt to the transfer switch to make it compatible with my unit. He is a brilliant technician and was able to get my generator up and running like it was a new unit. I highly recommend Complete Power Resources and Michael to handle any of your standby generator needs. Thank you Michael and Amanda for all your help. It was greatly appreciated. Best regards, Ralph M Conte

My mother (90 years old) had a 26k backup generator installed by the Complete Power. Overall pleased, but took some time from install to start up. Would recommend the company to anyone needing a system installed !

Complete Power Resources is a pleasure to work with. From my first contact with Amanda in the office to the first arrival of Technician Troy, I had a wonderful experience working with them both. This company has a "Can Do" attitude and when Troy was on site assisting me with a problem on a Kohler product that the other local rep's turned their backs on, I now have a working solution to the issue that I was experiencing. Troy has a great deal of knowledge and has a great style of communication. Troy is willing to work with the customer to achieve the most sensible and safe solution to an issue. Amanda is responsive and attentive by both voice and Email. I will certainly call them again.

Complete Power Resources completed the annual preventative maintenance today on my Cummins 25 Kw home generator. Pedro did a thorough job of cleaning the entire unit inside and out. He checked the battery, changed the oil, oil filter, air filter and more. Pedro meticulously completed the maintenance and I feel confident that the generator is ready for the hurricane season

Very disappointed in complete power resources after a year of having my generator put in and wired incorrectly we are still having issues of no start up on the weekly basis as scheduled due to many different problems. Power outage this week no generator started. After calling complete it will take four days to get here because the schedule is booked. So unfortunately, after spending about $17,000 on the home generator, it has never worked once for me.

Completely incompetent for maintaining whole home generators. Broke the generator during a maintenance visit right before the hurricane, said they'd come back before the hurricane to fix it and no showed, then "fixed" it by unhooking a sensor instead of replacing it. Technicians are not knowledgeable and customer service is garbage. Avoid!

Response to their response: Yes, indeed they did leave the oil cap off on the last service to the home I purchased. The seller had a contract with CPR. They did not refer me to any other company. I called another company as they could not come out during the power outage. I spoke to Stacy to see if the company would at least offer me a discounted contract considering the expenses I incurred due to their rep’s negligence. I received no response after many weeks.

Original post: They left the oil cap off on the last service. I had to get another company out that was available during the power outage. This company found the oil cap off as the reason all of the oil spilled out of the generator damaging my pavers and concrete pad. Despite hiring a professional power wash company, most of the oil remains in the concrete and the pavers. I also incurred a bill for the generator service in which the technician found the oil cap off.

The company has ignored my request for any consideration. Very incompetent! Very unscrupulous!!

I wanted a Kohler 26kw generator so I contacted CPR and signed the contract for over $14k on 4 Jun 24. Initial install started on 24 Jul and I noticed the two technicians were installing a 20kw. I brought this to their attention and they thought it was a 26kw. That should have been my first alert. The permit was approved on 8 Aug and startup was set for 17 September - CPR was having difficulty getting the 26kw even though the initial salesman said they had them in stock. Technician set generator to self test at 2:00PM every Tuesday. Generator has never self tested and I reported this to CPR on 24 Sep. office staff said they would get someone out as soon as possible. Evidently no hurry as CPR already had full payment. As hurricane Milton developed I continuously contacted CPR to no avail. I finally reached out directly to Kohler and they are taking corrective action but, unfortunately, not until Milton passes. I have no issues with Kohler and the Area Manager I have been dealing with. My issue is with CPR as they have allowed this issue to fester. I would never use or recommend CPR to anyone looking for a whole house generator.

Update::I brought in another Kohler dealership to determine why this brand new generator is not working and they discovered that CPR never installed the required 120 v charging circuit to the generator thus causing the battery to discharge to 1.8 volts. I specifically asked the installing technician if the weekly generator self test would recharge the battery and he assured me it would. I found out later that the Kohler generator does not have an alternator to recharge the battery and must have a 120v charging circuit installed which CPR failed to install. The cost to correct CPR mistake is $1,445.

I am a bit late posting this review but I could not let the excellent service I received from Efrain go unnoticed. Efrain was by far the most professional, detailed and experienced technician that has ever came to provide a service in my home. He definitely represented Complete Power Resources well.

Met with Michael about 2 weeks ago and contracted a Whole house generator. The installers came today, already…only 2 weeks + -.
Finished the complete install(less the gas) in about 6 hours which also entailed two transfer switches.

They got here on time, very well organized, neat and clean and very professional. There was ZERO trash or debris left over.
    Super happy thus far.

No repair service after sale. I bought my Generac whole home generator from this company and kept it on their maintenance plan. When the unit failed in July they made me pay $1500 in advance for service. To this date they still have not completed repairs. THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO FOLLOWUP REQUESTS.
I opened a Better Business Bureau complaint and CPR will not respond to them either.

CPR WILL TAKE NEW BUSINESS BUT ARENT EQUIPPED TO REPAIR THE EQUIPMENT. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

BBB was able to make contact with the company in January. I am now compensated but am doing business with a different company.

Worst company ever. Actually beats Comcast and Dell in lousiness. Everything RC says in his review is correct. After charging $1000.00 for a once a year routine “check” on it, they forget to put the oil cap back on it. So after a day and a half after the hurricane the generator spurts oil all over the place and of course shuts off. So had to throw out $150 of groceries because their technician let the cap off a year ago. (And of course then went through another four days with NO power.). And don’t tell me “someone else” left the cap off. Nobody messes with these generators. There are warning signs all over them and a solid protective bolted-on metal cover on them. The pressure washer guy was so afraid of it when trying to clean-up this oil spill mess, they required the unit be turned off! Another generator service company then came out and only had to spend about ten minutes there replacing the oil and the cap. That’s all that was wrong with it.

After two months of waiting for “upper management” to address this, I call and ask stacy, the receptionist, to connect me to a “michael fagan” in “upper management“. She says she will. She connected me to the “answering service” instead. Very cute. Now when stacy sees our phone numbers calling in, our calls ALWAYS go to voicemail. And you guessed it, they NEVER return the call. Worst work and followup customer service ever. It’s almost unbelievable.

Here’s a photo of the spilled oil from the generator on the concrete pad where it is located and on my pavers, and a photo of the cap-less oil tank. The oil does NOT come off and CPR has offered to do nothing about it.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were very dishonest in fulfilling the time frame when generator would be installed. It was supposed to have been 3-4 months and it was a year before everything was installed correctly. My husband passed away during the time we were waiting and after that it was like they continued to tell me different things such as they were waiting for permit because it had expired but I called and talked with the city and was told all they had to do was pay $25 and they could get permit reissued. Micheal was very deceptive. Never have I done business with such unprofessional and deceptive people.

Couldn’t have been more pleased with the work. Hardwired my sauna and added two receptacles outdoors. All for a decent price too. Would recommend!

Attention to detail, excellent service for a reasonable price.
