Reviews of local pros in Winter Garden, Florida

DropZone is the real deal. The owner, Jacob, is a genuine, kind, and honest person. He possesses a treasure of knowledge about trees and the ecology that he happily shares with anyone who asks.
I hired Jacob to trim three large mature oak trees in my yard that had never been trimmed. He arrived to give me a quote. The next day the job was completed and the site cleaned up all while I was out. His crew did an amazing job that exceeded my expectations.
With this company - you wont get a pushy sales guy looking to pick your pocket while live-instagramming on your job. Instead, you get trust-worthy small business family men who do excellent work and put their customer’s happiness first.

Jacob did a wonderful job on my trees! He took the time to explain to me exactly what he was going to do, and how it all works. He also explained to me why he was doing what he was doing to not only make the trimmed trees look great, but to also protect the trees and allow them to flourish. He was able to squeeze me in to his busy schedule with very little notice. I highly HIGHLY recommend DropZone Tree Services!

Jacob and his team were excellent. Will definitely be using them again. They went above and beyond with customer service, knowledge ,and honesty. Thank you for all the help. - Edwin and Holly

If you need professional and thorough tree services, give Jacob Uhle, of Drop Zone Tree Services a call. He took on a job at my home in a bent oak tree and went beyond expectations to be sure the tree was properly trimmed and cared for. He truly cares about his work, its personal to him, thank you Jacob, very well done.

We Recently used drop zone tree services trim all the trees at our house and they were amazing. Responded same day when I reached out for a quote, extremely knowledgeable about the trees and walked me through all of the options and gave suggestions. We had palms and oaks trimmed and they look great

Have used Jacob for a few years now to do all my tree work. He comes when he says he will, his prices are reasonable for the work performed, and he always cleans up his work area well. Best of all, Jacob is knowledgeable and cares about the health of my trees. Always a great job and easy to deal with.

After contacting several companies for a quote to trim my oak tree I decided to contract Jacob from DropZone Tree Services due to his excellent communication skills, professionalism and knowledge. The price for his job was very fair. Arrived on time and upon his arrival he was very detailed explaining different options to trim our tree. Jacob did an awesome job from start to finish leaving all the areas neat Highly recommend!

Jacob and his team are excellent in price, communication, and service. Helped me through the whole process extremely professional. One of the most reliable contractors I've ever worked with in Florida and I could not be more thankful for his service.

Jacob and his team have been supporting our home for the past 5 years. He runs an honest, hard-working, and quality small business that is the best of the best! In addition to taking down trees, trimming them and grinding stumps for us, the thing that sets him apart is that he is truly concerned about his customers, and their trees! After our last hurricane, Jacob drove past his customers homes in our neighborhood just to check on us... but found a tree down across the street (NOT near a customer) -- he proceeded to clear the road just because he was there and wanted to help! Truly one of the 'good guys' out there!

We've used DropZone for a few years. Jacob is highly knowledgeable and always provides excellent advice. His service is fairly priced and nothing but the highest quality. He's not just a guy that owns a chainsaw - he's a guy that truly cares about his work and customer satisfaction.

We used Jacob from Drop Zone to trim our oak tree in June 2023. Jacob was prompt, professional, personable, very knowledgeable, safe in his approach to the work, did a great job cleaning up and was very reasonably priced. I have recommended him to friends and will be calling upon him this summer to trim the oak once again and address a few other trimming needs in my yard.

Jacob and his team are amazing, my tree is beautiful and ready for hurricane season. They did an amazing job and my yard was so clean when they , it was like they were never here. Very professional, will recommend to all my friends and family

Jacob and his team are amazing. Quality work at a fair price. Dropzone are my go-to team for tree work. No job is too big or too small for them and I know it first hand. I’ve used them to safely remove large trees close to my home and also manicure and maintain my other trees. If you’re looking for tree work look no further than Jacob and Dropzone, you won’t be disappointed.

Jacob and his crew are very professional and experienced. They've done a few jobs for me over the years including large tree removal (well over 50' tall), close to power lines and surrounding homes with no issues at all. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Update 10-29-25: Jacob and his crew did another big job for me today, and they're still the best in town. Central Florida is lucky to have their experience, knowledge, and professionalism.

I hired Jacob to remove 8 high risk oak trees in my front and back yard that have been growing over my roof for years. He was willing to work with me on a budget and cut me a break to leave larger stumps. He is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable when it comes to his line of work. He did a fantastic job with the removal and cleanup. There was no damage to my roof or property. I highly recommend his services to anyone who needs tree work!

Highly recommend! Drop Zone did a fantastic job on our large live oak that had been very neglected prior to us purchasing the property. They listened to all my concerns, were very good about communicating when it came to scheduling the work, and the arborist was very knowledgeable. They really care about keeping your trees healthy, which was very important to me with this big old oak. They were also very reasonably priced and hauled everything away. Definitely hire them for your tree trimming!

So glad I called DropZone to drop our tree. Jacob was very professional, prompt and knowlegable about the condition of my hugh oak tree that had died. There was a very limited area to drop the tree parts, and lots of them, but Jacob did it with great skill and no damage! I highly recommend DropZone for any of your tree removal needs. And, it was at a very fair price.

Jacob is awesome! He went out of his way to remove a lot of tree branches that needed to be removed from my yard. He charged me a very fair price and would recommend him to anyone.
