Garage Builder reviews across the US

Chapton Construction was the first contractor I contacted that actually got back to me in a quick and timely manner. While others took days/weeks to respond, Chapton replied within minutes/hours. I shopped around and his estimates were lower than other quotes. I decided to go with Chapton based on reviews. I'm glad I did. After my garage was built, I went out to find someone to build my driveway. A few quotes later and I hired Chapton again. After the driveway was done, I asked for a quote on siding to match the garage and we agreed that his company would also be hired for my siding. He even went above and beyond to help with the odd sizing of the soffit put together by the previous owner. This was all done in a few months. I'm happy with his work and have not had an issue yet!

I had a garage built by this company and couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were excellent with communication, always kept me updated, and finished the project on time. I also compared prices with several other companies, and they offered the best value by far. Highly recommend!

Very honest folks! I really appreciated their friendly team, and attention to detail! From small jobs to large projects, Chapton is my first choice!

Chapton Construction built a garage for me in Muskegon. Due to issues with the city, there were a few changes required to our original plans. Chapton handled the whole permitting process and worked with the city to realize my vision in a way that would still get approved (which was likely a bit of a headache, considering the changes we were forced to make). Communication was timely and good. All of the subcontractors were very professional. Hiccups were handled quickly and professionally. The entire project was done very well and I am happy with the result. I don't think I could have asked for a better garage. I highly recommend Chapton Construction.

We had shopped around to compare costs for having our polebarn built. Chaptons quote was slightly lower than other bids I had received and I liked the idea of having someone local. The sub contractor and his crew did a great job building the pole barn and it was done on the time frame stated. Communication was good with Wayne/Brian/sub contractor. Had a damaged door and door panel which Wayne handled right away. I would hire them again.

Hired for a new bathroom remodel and a new kitchen floor for my mother’s mobile home. She needed a walk in shower and floor had water damage.

They went above and beyond what I expected. Showed up on time, communicated well and most importantly did an amazing job. So happy with the results. Great team from the drywaller ,floor installer and general workers. Stayed within budget. Highly recommended.

We recently hired Chapton Construction and Renovations LLC for a major home renovation, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we’ve made as homeowners. From start to finish, they were professional, honest, and genuinely cared about the quality of their work.
We had a few updates done—some structural changes, new flooring, and a full kitchen remodel—and everything turned out beautifully. The attention to detail was impressive, and they made sure to keep us in the loop throughout the entire process. No surprises, no excuses—just clear communication and solid results.
What really stood out to us was how respectful and tidy the crew was while working in our home. They treated our space like it was their own, which made a huge difference, especially with kids in the house.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, hardworking team that delivers high-quality results without cutting corners, I highly recommend Chapton Construction. It’s so refreshing to find a contractor who does what they say they’ll do—and then some!
We’re beyond happy with how everything turned out and won’t hesitate to call them again for our next project.

JT Contracting did the concrete foundation for a two car garage to be built upon. They did excellent work, were very knowledgeable and helpful, but most importantly, they were genuinely the nicest people to work with!

Jimmy, Tina and their team work with us on a regular basis, they do high quality work for a reasonable price. Will continue to do work with them in the future!

Very friendly family oriented company. The whole crew are very hard workers.

David and his crew were awesome to work with and truly care about your project and making sure you are happy with everything

Great guy fair prices and quality work

Catos construction helped me update a 1960's home by adding a large master bedroom (20x16ft) with two gorgeous doors, built in shelving and closet. They also converted our old attached garage into my new 24x30 ft livingroom with 2 bay windows complimented with seating. I was very impressed with the owners prefessional work ethics, the fact that they completed the work beautifully, and his price beat the competitions. I plan on using only this company in the future.

Cato’s construction is great! Competitive pricing with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. With timely results you can’t beat Cato’s. Thanks David and crew!! Pics coming soon

Cato construction removed trees from our property and excavated the area for our new home and shop. David and his crew also excavated and installed a 300' driveway. Our 24'x24' shop has been well filled since the build three years ago. We would contact Cato construction again if needed.

David and his crew did a phenomenal job building our pole building. It's almost been a year now since completion and everything is as good as new and no issues. I would highly recommend him and his crew for your future construction needs.

David Cato and his crew are my hero's! My original contractor screwed up my concrete pad, took a bunch of my money, and then backed out of the project. David stepped in and he and his crew finished the project correctly, quickly, and professionally, and it is awesome!!! I can't recommend them enough!

I highly recommend Cato’s construction. We recently had a barn and shop built by Cato’s. The entire process was great and the finished product exactly what we were looking for. Both jobs were completed on time and within budget. We made multiple adjustments and changes throughout the planning and building process and David was very accommodating, working to make sure we were happy with the final product. I would recommend Cato’s construction to anyone looking for a great contractor and will definitely use them for any future building projects!

Cato’s construction is awesome!! If you want the one stop shop this is your company. They are very family oriented with excellent work habits. My 40x60 stick built shop with living quarters has meet my expectations and has added value. I can tell you David goes Way beyond the extra mile and without question his prices are well worth the hassle free build. Highly recommend.

Good food nice atmosphere

They did a wonderful job on our building. Walt did a great job on helping decide what we needed in the construction.
