My husband and I couldn’t be happier that we chose Productive Quality Construction to install our new floors. Our condo incurred water damage from a neighboring unit’s flood. The building hired ServePro as the remediation company. We were very unhappy with their work - they claimed our laminate flooring would be fine and go back to normal… even though it had already warped and buckled in many places. They also weren't concerned about the carpet in our nursery, even though their moisture meter determined the water traveled into that room. We declined their further services and went through our own insurance to choose our own team. Productive Quality Construction, Al, his team, and every single person we worked with in this process was great. Scheduling was easy, Al remained in constant communication with us, his team moved fast, and we’re incredibly happy with the finished flooring. Al himself came back to our unit for inspection and finishing touches, and genuinely took his time making sure it was perfect. We already have, and will continue to recommend Productive Quality Construction to everyone we know.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Productive Quality Construction for the outstanding work they did in rebuilding my floors after the water damage I experienced. From start to finish, they communicated every step of the process and adhered to the timeline. The quality of the work was exceptional. I had a deck and pergola built. Very nice work and everything was done right. Anytime I had a question or concern, I received answers quickly and accurately. We couldn’t be happier that we chose them. As far as prices go, they weren’t the most expensive nor the least expensive. This is a great company to work with and I will be using them for several other Home improvement projects.

Great work by Al and his team to refinish our basement and remodel our bathroom! Top notch service, on-time start dates, over delivered every step of the way. Will use them again!

I had the pleasure of working with Alphonso. I really appreciate the professionalism throughout the process. While my job wasn't a big job, it was important to me. Alphonso was punctual in every part of the process from providing me a quote to completing the work. He showed respect for my property by cleaning up when it was finished and managing his work area. When he found some unexpected damage that he had not quoted he didn't automatically say he was going to charge me more, he proposed a solution so he could still honor his quote. Based on that kind of transparency and trustworthiness, I elected to pay more and have it fixed as we would recommend. I reached out to other general contractors and they were non-responsive and unprofessional. This is a hard space to get a good and reliable resource. I told Alphonso I will absolutely hire his company when we plan our upcoming remodeling projects.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Al and Productive Quality Construction for the work they did in my basement after it got flooded. I was referred to Al from a dear friend as someone who does top quality work in the city of Atlanta.

Al, owner of Productive Quality Construction helped us design a complete remodel of our entire home to include the kitchen, master bathroom, family room and formal dining and then performed the actual remodel work. Additionally, Al painted the entire interior home, gave us a floor to ceiling tile fireplace, custom hardwood floors and built a custom coffered ceiling in our family room.

Al was referred to us by a well known property management company here in Atlanta. I spoke with Al on a weekday and he offered to come out to our house a day or two later and take a look at what we had in mind. Al spent quite a bit of time going over our ideas, and offering several of his own. Within 2 days Al generated a budget friendly quote of what we had discussed. We are already talking about remodeling our deck and adding a pool to our backyard and when the time comes we will not hesitate to call AL for that project as well.

We could not be more pleased with the outcome! Our kitchen is magnificent now, state of the art, we could not be happier. Al was fantastic to work with from the very beginning. While designing our kitchen Al provided tips and suggestions without being over bearing and was also extremely open to our own ideas as well.

While it seemed like a long process, it was all done in 5 weeks and we would do it all over again with Al. He brought in a plumber, electrician, painters and a professional crew to get the work done. Al and his team were terrific to work with. They were incredibly nice, professional, clean, and paid attention to detail. They started the job on time and we felt totally at ease letting them be in the house without us. I cannot adequately express how fine a job Al and his team did. What a wonderful person and craftsman!

Overall my experience was good. Home remodeling is not cheap. I had a few quotes for the job. I went with Productive because it was affordable for me and the level of work I needed. I would recommend Productive to be included in your search when receiving quotes.

Unfortunately, I did not have such a great experience and was not satisfied with the work. A few things I thought was unprofessional but blamed myself for okaying a too familiar working environment where a child brought to the job during prepping and my private master bedroom bathroom was used without permission while assessing the painting area. When I have a guest bathroom. Overall, I think the paint job was over priced for the basic level of quality of work with paint peeling, holes not plugged and edges free handed- not taped and it shows... I am still getting this job redone little by little and is was a couple years ago. But after seeing other's work, I know for sure it could have been done better. Very disappointed. I was reluctant to review but again very disappointed.

UNRELIABLE & UNREASONABLE sums up the ethics of this company. On both scheduled appointments the contractor (Al) canceled. The excuse he gave each time was because we didn’t answer the phone when he called while en route to our house. Bear in mind, 1) we had already confirmed the appointment days prior in writing and 2) we paid an appointment fee. The second time Al canceled we gave him every opportunity to honor our scheduled appointment by suggesting he still come since he was canceling within our appointment time window or at the very least come after he finishes the rest of his appointments for the day. He refused. He also stated that he cancels appointments if he calls the customer the day of the appointment and they don’t answer because he doesn’t want to waste his gas and time showing up and risk they aren’t home. This is an absolutely ridiculous way to conduct business since customers are paying for him to show up. The appointment fee we pay covers his time and gas. Al‘s attitude is wholly disagreeable and it’s clear that he puts himself before the business/customers. He will cancel an appointment for his own convenience without taking into consideration how it affects the customer who took off work and sat at home all day during their 3-hour appointment window waiting for him to show up, only to find out that he decided he’s not coming because you didn’t pick up the phone when he called. Totally ridiculous. Use this company at your own risk! It goes without saying that when you have a house project, you cannot afford to deal with a company/contractors that are this obtuse.

This was a no for me before I could even get through the first call. I provided a very detailed note on what I was looking for. All scopes of my project and the phases I was looking to do it. I received a call from the operations manager. I was told it’s a free estimate. Which he started the call with saying “you requested a free estimate” of course my response was yes.

He begin to ask me questions about the project with was the SAME information I provided when I requested to be contacted. I asked if he read my contact request and he said yes. He then ask for my square footage and quotes me over the phone $60k for the full basement project. I asked how can he give me an estimate without seeing the property. His response was “we do work by square footage”. I said, you clearly did not read what I wrote. He says I am trying to save you a estimate cost. How are you saving me an estimate cost when you advertise estimates are free!!!!!

Not to mention the basement was only one of the projects. I reiterated - I want a design as I am trying to do this in phases. He responds with designs are $1200! Is that something you can afford. So now, not only am I insulted, feel disrespected, but also concerned that you are already NOT attention to detail based on my very lengthy notes I sent over and advised on my frustration with contractors. He then says you must be looking for a sub contractor, that’s not us. At this point I was done with the conversation.

A note to the owner: have people follow up on your leads that have good customer service and not try to assume someone does not have the money you want based on the initial conversation. Can I cut the check? Sure! Will I release such funds during a pandemic? Absolutely not! Hence why I said “PHASES” to be mindful and smart of what I spend.

They may do great work, I don’t know, however, by this phone call I doubt I will ever find out!

A complete horrible conversation and it was very pitiful!

Productive Quality Construction was one of the company’s who reached out to me from a Home Depot Pro referral. Alfonzo was the person who contacted me and came to my home to look at my ceiling in my living room to assess my ceiling and give a quote. Instead he however caused more damage to my ceiling by repeatedly hitting it with a broom stick he requested as well as caused more damage to my home by putting a hole in another area of my ceiling. He was completely unapologetic and stated “that should make you get your ceiling fixed quicker” before stuffing a piece of toilet tissue in the hole he made and left. I was in such shock at his unprofessionalism and the fact that he came in my home and caused more damage without a care or even an apology. When I reached out to the company to complain I was then insulted and threatened (I have emails to confirm this). I would absolutely not recommend this company as they lack professionalism, integrity, common decency and less than quality service.
