Tree reviews in Atlanta, Georgia

I've used Davey Tree a couple of times and I've always been happy with the promptness, professionalism and execution of the project at hand.

We've used Davey Tree at our home in Sandy Springs several times over the last couple of years. They are always professional, knowledgeable, have experienced crews, and have accurate quotes. And clean up the jobsite when finished.

Davey Tree did a fantastic job from start to finish. They did a great job cleaning up and checked with me to make sure I was satisfied!
Definitely would use again and would recommend them.

Davey Tree have been handling our yard/grass and tree since 1985 here in Atlanta. Great people; great results; great customer service. Our bermuda grass has been one of the top 2 lawns every year in our neighborhood of 450 homes. Highly recommend to all our friends they give Davey Tree a try when they want work done for their trees or yard. Davey Tree are especially great at taking care of the biggest and most valuable trees - only trust Davey Tree with working on your 100+ year old trees!

The Davey Tree Expert Co. removed several trees again for me and they did a tremendous job. They protected my yard in the process and left the surroundings very neat and clean. I am very pleased with their work. I recommend this company for tree removal.

The Davey guys came out today & did a ton of tree trimming in below freezing weather. I felt so bad for them but they didn't complain one bit. And they did a FABULOUS job!! Blake, Brandon & Jonathan were fantastic & worked together like a well-oiled machine. We did a quick walk through at the beginning just to make sure we were all on the same page and they went to work. They were all very knowledgeable about how to trim each tree. There were cut branches everywhere! But, they did a great job cleaning everything up. Think it was Blake in the bucket truck - he expertly navigated that thing in some tight spots just to get the cuts right. And they kept checking with me to make sure I liked their work which of course I did. Such nice guys! Davey Tree, these guys are gold! ps - I like Taylor the estimator too. He's got a memory like an elephant. 😂 For the estimate, we walked around but he didn't write down anything, but when I got the estimate, he hadn't forgotten one thing. And he remembered what trees they trimmed the last time they came out which was over a year (or two?) ago. Impressive. Yeah, you won't go wrong hiring these guys for all your tree needs. They got it going on;)

The office staff was very helpful as we started this tree removal journey. Joel, the arborist, was patient as he explained the process and regulations for our county. He made sure the paperwork was submitted correctly and kept in touch with delays. The crew spent 3 days with us and worked hard and cleaned up so well each day. It made the lawn look as if it had been manicured daily.

Davey Trees did a wonderful job with our trees. First, there was the actual tree trimming which was wonderful. Our trees have canopy but there's more room for them to grow, and no more squirrels getting on the roof. Second, there was the initial contact, which was by phone and then follow up with email and text messages. I prefer email and texting to calling and so I loved that we ended up coordinating via email. Brilliant. (Sometimes its easier for me to send an email than talk on the phone). Third, we had a rather crazy schedule and Davey Trees accommodated our changing needs with grace. All in all highly recommend Davey Trees.

Davey Tree came out and pruned some large trees and a large magnolia. They did an excellent job. The crew was very professional and polite. They cleaned up all the limbs and debris. I would highly recommend Davey Tree to anyone looking for pruning or tree removal.

The recent windstorm brought down several large limbs from a tree in my front yard. I call Davey Tree because I previously met Daniel John on a down tree removal, and he was friendly and professional. Daniel explained the condition of my tree, and what my options were and that was very helpful in making the decision to remove the tree. The crews arrived on time and were efficient setting up the site, equipment and removing the tree. There were down tree limbs in the backyard. The cleanup for the entire project was excellent, including the sawdust.

It all started when Dan came out to conduct the assessment, I knew I had the right company for the job! The team was very professional and explained their process for the tree removal and the other tasks. The work was done quickly and they removed any and all debris. I highly recommend The Davey Tree Expert Company for small and large jobs!

We've used Davey Tree several times now and will continue to into the future. We are very happy with their work! We have found their people always to be professional, responsive, very knowledgable and easy to work with. They work hard, do a great job and clean up well afterward. And I like their prices too. Thank you again Joel, Jerry and Antonio--we will call again!

Dan, Marcelo, and the crew from Dave Tree were courteous, professional, and effective in addressing my tree removal needs. Dan suggested some tree replacement ideas and Marcelo and the removal crew worked with precision and safely removed three trees without risking the home. I recommend Davey Tree to others with similar needs.

I was very delighted with Davey Tree Expert Company. They really are experts at trees. They were able to offer me professional, researched, and insightful recommendations for my trees. I got 3 quotes from other companies and Davey was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This company was referred to me by a friend . Daniel Johns , who was the project representative , was extremely punctual on our appointment when he came out to give the estimate. He took the time to explain and answer any questions that I had. When I originally called the company , and again when they contacted me to set up the appointment , the young lady was excellent ~ very friendly and professional. The crew that came out ~ Antonio and Brayan ~ were very punctual , polite and professional ( I was very impressed ) They were very efficient and the clean up was outstanding ! I will definitely be referring them to family and friends and will be a return customer of theirs.

We had a great experience from consultation to completion of service. We had a couple trees removed and a number of mature trees pruned away from the roofline. They were prompt, professional, and fairly priced. Would definitely use Davey again.

We have been very happy customers of Davey Tree for several years now. They have provided a wide variety of services for us, from cutting down and removing a huge oak, to planting new trees and bushes, and doing an outstanding job taking care of our lawn. The manager, Chris, is extremely helpful and friendly and offers terrific and trustworthy advice.

When we removed the oak, I got estimates from 3-4 other companies. Davey's initial rate was very competitive and they offered to match the lowest price in order to retain our business. I would highly recommend them for any of the services they offer.

My name is Ellen, my great granddaughter is helping me type this, and I have had work done by this company for over 10 years and they are always professional, fast, and they answer any questions you have without walking you around in circles. I would recommend them to anybody who needs trees taken care of. Especially older people as, being 86 myself, they are extremely friendly and don't treat anyone differently.

Dan and his team are simply the best! I've used them 3 times now and the quality of their work is top notch, pricing is competitive and they went above and beyond each time, even doing some minor tidying up work that I didn't ask for but that made my yard look even better! Well done Dan! Nigel S.

My neighbors recommended Davey Trees. I will also recommend them. The team that came out were thoughtful, clean, and respectful. The price was great. Their communication could use more work. But over all I am very happy

We will continue to use Davey Tree Expert Company for all of our tree care needs! Dan Johns was professional, prompt and knowledgeable. We 100% trust the health and care of our trees with Davey. The crew did an outstanding job with pruning and subsequent cleanup. Would recommend Davey Tree to anyone in need of tree care.
