I really can’t say enough about how pleased I am with Castor Tree Service. They were super professional! Knew exactly what they were doing. Provided their service on time, arrived exactly when they said they would be there. I’ve used them for multiple years on multiple jobs, and I’m always pleased with the service provided.

We hired Castor Tree Services a couple of times to help trim trees in our yard. They were recommended to us by two separate people so we decided we had to give them a try! We weren’t disappointed! They’re affordable, reliable, and very professional. They did a great job trimming our trees and they did an awesome job cleaning up afterwards! I would not recommend Castor Tree Service & Landscaping based on my recent experience.

When I first hired them for tree removal, I was very satisfied with the results. However, I didn’t anticipate the yard would be left in such rough shape which wasn’t a major issue at the time. Because I was planning a graduation party, I decided to reach back out and have them lay sod to restore the lawn. Unfortunately, this is where things went downhill.

What I was quoted did not match the work that was performed. I specifically told them where I wanted the sod to stop, and they gave me a price based on that. When the crew arrived, the sod was laid in a completely different area and did not match the instructions I gave. Despite the discrepancy, I was charged the full quoted price.

I strongly suggest that if you choose to work with this company (I wouldn't), get everything in writing. I believe the person who handles quotes and coordination (Alex) speaks with many customers and may not remember the details of your agreement. This led to a frustrating experience and a finished product that did not reflect what I asked for or paid for.

Because of this, I would not use their services again and I’m not comfortable recommending them to anyone even though multiple people have asked about the tree removal and landscaping work. In my opinion, the company did not operate in good faith when it came to honoring the agreed-upon scope of work.

I needed trees removed from the backyard due to sewer line clogging. I was so busy with work and other home repairs my mother found them for me. Douglas came out the next day, gave me a fair quote compared to two other companies. He said his team would be out that next morning and they came out right on time. The job was well done, professional, and I could not be happier with the level of customer service.

The next day, I found out at 4 PM, I needed trees cut down before 8 AM the next day so the plumber could dig and put in new pipe. Douglas came out immediately, his crew was there and had the job down before sun down and they didn’t hit me over the head with outrageous pricing! Thank God. Reliability is very hard to come by in this world, but Castor tree service went above and beyond. They are A1 and truly deserve your business. Thank you so much to Douglas and his crew. God bless.

We contacted Castor after a neighbor referred us to them. An oak tree in our yard (100+ ft tall) had developed a fungus and needed to be removed. The entire process was very professional. Because Douglas was so knowledgeable during the consultation, we signed the agreement. The day of the tree removal, a highly skilled crew arrived to complete the work. They cleaned up our yard from the excess branches and hauled out the tree. They replaced the pine straw in the landscape too. I will recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work.

They came here last week to trim one tree and remove another. They were affordable, on time, personable and did a great job. From set up to clean up, all was good. Dealing with Douglas and Alex was a delight, and I highly recommend them for any tree service.

Douglas was wonderful to work with - friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. The crew was highly skilled and professional, taking extra care to protect the surrounding plants and trees during extraction. They did a beautiful job cleaning up at the end. We are very pleased with the quality and value of Castor Tree Service and will use them again for our future needs.

I used Castor Tree service they have great guys hard workers and skilled at what they do. They worked in close places I thought the limbs were going to hit my roof but the knew what they were doing. Would highly recommend them for any tree services

Douglas and his crew did an awesome job!!! Cut down 8 trees, some canopy limbs and did a fantastic job with removal and clean up. Very professional and quick to respond and get the job done.

Hurricane Helene hit the Augusta, Georgia area very hard, and our yard was not spared. Even though we were "blessed" to have no damage done to our house or property, a double-trunk tree in the front yard was split in half. The half closest to the house was left standing and leaning towards one of our upstairs bedrooms. We received a quote from another tree service that seemed reasonable but they never showed. My wife spoke to the owner of Castor as he was surveying the damage around our neighborhood and he gave us a much better rate than the first company. Castor Tree Services came in and removed the leaning trunk and put all of the debris by the road for FEMA to pick up. I cannot recommend Castor Tree Services any higher than 5 stars, or I would! Very professional and extremely kind people.
