John Powell gave me a great quote for tree pruning and removal. His team led by Zach was quick, courteous, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I'll be using them for years going forward.

This is my third year using Arborguard to prune my 15 ft high front hedges and trim other long hanging branches on my property. I was extremely pleased with the arborist, John Powell who helped set up the job needs and the crew , Zak, Willy, and Sage that did the pruning. I would highly recommend Arborguard!

John was excellent at coordinating and communicating throughout the process, answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable with trimming trees that bordered my neighbor’s property. Not sure where they find employees but everyone of them from office, to free estimate man (John), to all the crew are extremely nice, helpful and professional.
I had 2 or 3 handyman quotes for cutting down a tree for $3000 to $6000, and we had to arrange with GA Power to get the disconnect. They weren't bonded and probably not insured.
ARBORGUARD did everything. They contacted GA Power, cut the tree, even trimmed the adjacent sweet gum tree, and cleaned up. They even pulled a big limb that had come down in the snow storm to the front, blew off the deck where the limb had fallen - for no extra charge. All that for less than $1900. Getting a professional and saving money was a win-win.

I have used Arborguard for about 10 years, and they have done a great job every time. This time (April 2026), Reuben, Jocomo? And Juan did an awesome job with some very complex removals and trimming. Because of the location of the trees, one wrong move and they could have done some significant damage. They pulled it off without damage, and things look great.

John handled all the communicating and permitting with the city and had a permit approved within 5 business days over the holiday. We had a sweetgum and large hackberry tree removed immediately adjacent to our garage which required a truck and bucket. They even recommended an excellent resource for removing the tree stumps. Can’t recommend these folks enough. They do fantastic work. The thing that sets them apart is the incredibly friendly people that work for them, from the receptionist to the owner (who personally comes to assess what needs to be taken care of at your home) to the people actually performing the labor. Their communication is incredible, there’s no surprises, and their prices are quite reasonable. If you need your trees and shrubs tuned up, these are your people.

For the estimate, Brendan Gill arrived on time, charged no fee, walked the front & backyards with me. He asked questions and commented on each tree re: proposed treatment. He had an estimate to us that night. The day of the work, Brendan came with his crew & reviewed what I was expecting to have done. His crew was efficient, answered any questions I had. AND they left no tree parts! Amazing work, amazing cleanup! Then we got a couple of weeks to make we were satisfied, willing to fix anything that didn’t measure up (we didn’t have anything). THEN and only then he accepted payment.

Gill Tree Care is efficient, informed and delivered great service. Brendan Gill explained to me which branches of the trees that I had worries about could be trimmed in a way that both protected the adjacent building but also strengthened the trees in the long run. Considering the costs of insurance and the machinery needed to do the job, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of the bill. I have no hesitation about recommending Gill Tree Care wholeheartedly.

Our 60" Red Oak has to come down, due to a fungal infection. We are bereft. The tree is in a narrowly accessible back yard and our driveway is steep, which has indicated a labor intensive carry-out removal.
Brandon quoted me the best price among four companies for that service, but then he did a really surprising thing. He said he thought another service had a specialized crane that could make it up our driveway and reduce both the cost and the impact of the removal.
I called the other company and Brandon was right. So he gave away the job to serve the customer's interest. Amazing! Gill will always be my recommendation for this most critical service!

We reached out to Gill Tree Care to do some maintenance on our very old and large oak. They said they'd be happy to do the job, but had some concerns about the overall health of our tree. After some tests and consulting with the City of Atlanta arborist, we realized we had a very sick tree. We were appreciative that Gill advised us not to spend money unnecessarily when the tree needed to come down. Gill's team was amazing. They showed up early each day, protected our house (despite the close proximity of the tree), and left our yard clean. We recommend them strongly!

I had a tree that fell into my neighbor's yard and, after trying several companies, got a call back from these folks. I've had tree removal service in 2 different states, 3 different houses, over 5 or 6 times, and nobody comes close to these folks at Gill Tree Service. Beginning with Anya, the office manager whose voice mail is soothing politeness that is such a contrast to the automated menu most places had. She always returns calls within the hour, usually within 15 minutes. She was able to get Branden, the expert, to our home within a day and he was able to get us in within 3 days, even though they were booked for a month (because he could see there was a safety issue). When they arrived, they were on time, professional, and clearly experts. I was so excited by the quality of the work that I actually made a video (well, that and trying to learn how to use this video editing software I just got!). Excellent and, oh yeah, they did the job for half of what others were charging me, and Anya insisted we wait for the invoice to ensure that the quality of work met our needs and NOT to pay the crew on-site. They got the job done and then were meticulous at cleaning up, first raking then blowing. Can't say enough about this team and this company. They have my business as long as i'm anywhere near Atlanta.

The best service I could have imagined after having a massive tree fall on the house. Plenty of companies came by trying to get out business and they all seemed sketch. We found Gill Tree Care through a neighborhood Facebook group and it was the best referral ever. Anya handles all the back office stuff and phones, she’s the sweetest person ever with the most calming voice. The owner came out to view the damage and give an estimate literally 15 minutes after talking with her because he was in the area. He was knowledgeable about trees and insurance claims which was helpful because our insurance was not up to that point. After looking at the damage he got his crew out 2 days later and the tree was gone in a couple hours. They were super professional, fast and even cleaned up after. We have plans to use Gill again to trim some branches on a tree in the front after this. Oh pricing was fair as well. Definitely recommend.

Can’t recommend highly enough! Brendan and the entire crew were so professional and easy to deal with. We had a multi-day job, and they cleaned up each day, leaving our property in better condition than when they started. And communication was great, even when we added on to the scope of work mid-process. We had to wait a few weeks for our service due to high demand, but it was well worth it.

The carpet had heavy dirt buildup that made the space look dull. A deep cleaning lifted the fibers and removed stains evenly. The room feels brighter and much cleaner now.
