Reviews of local pros in Buford, Georgia

I had a fantastic experience today with North Georgia Electrical Services. Alex and his crew were incredibly professional from start to finish. They showed up on time, communicated clearly, and completed the work efficiently. What really stood out to me was their honesty and fairness—qualities that are hard to find these days. Alex could have charged me an arm and a leg, but instead was honest. I highly recommend Alex and his team!

Tyler Kirkwood was an amazing technician who came out to service my house within two hours of my initial call. And although he was not able to resolve my issue completely. His integrity and honesty was beyond questionable! This was an amazing young man and he was able to get the information on what I needed. He will be to providing me a quote for the issue and wants for my home. North Georgia Electrical Service is lucky to have him!

Phillip and his team are always extremely responsive and very quick to get the job done. They are very respectful and professional. Prices are very reasonable.

Philip and Tyler did a great job helping us add dedicated circuits and outlets in our garage. Amber worked around our schedule to get the team lined up and Tyler left the site very clean (even for a garage!).

The guy came in and checked out my fixture. Once finding the problem the hunt for a replacement began. My current fixture was discontinued and the size wasn’t common. Tyler was my technician. He started calling around and looking for a close match. He found a similar design and returned for installation. I also attempted to install a ceiling fan and it had no power. Tyler rewired it and finished putting it together. NGE has now saved the day on 3 occasions for me.
Thank you!

We worked with Philip and team for electrical work on our home, and not only were they a fair price, their work was exceptional and completed quickly! Very happy with them and will use again!

North Georgia Electrical has helped us with several upgrades at our home and dock and always been prompt, professional and delivered excellent results. We have so appreciated their expertise and service!

We had Tyler from North Georgia Electrical come do some electric work for us. He was very informative and ethical. He worked very hard. My husband asked if he moonlighted on the side (some companies allow it), to make more money for himself, but he declined. I was very impressed by that.

Philip and his team at north Georgia Electrical Services handled every job and task we throw at them with professionalism, speed, and ease. Their office manager Amber is very helpful and precise with scheduling. would highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about North Georgia Electrical Services. From our first communication to the follow up after the job was done Philip was nothing but professional, helpful, kind and competent. We decided to finally pull the trigger and get a generator and NGE installed it seamlessly. I made a couple changes pretty last minute with placement and they were extremely helpful with the change, they didn’t skip a beat. I will recommend to all our friends and will use them again in a heartbeat!

Phillip and his team go above and beyond! I have had them put in can lights, replace switches and my breaker box, and more. Anything electrical related, they are who I call and recommend with confidence.

Philip & his team at North Georgia Electrical Services does great work on all of our projects, their crew is great. Their office manager, Amber is always on point with scheduling. Highly recommended.

It's not everyday you come across a company with as much care for the local cities they serve, nor the willingness to offer assistance in a moments notice as Philip did for our family this week.

After a neighborhood power outing, we continued to have a breaker shut off running electricity to our main floor. Needing help as we are in the process of selling our home and notifying Philip of our immediate need, he helped by making suggestions through text message. Informing him that we had appointments for potential buyers coming in the next couple of hours, it was his way of helping in the moment. Following his suggestions, my husband located the bad electrical outlet and was able to replace before our next appointment. Other companies we contacted during the day responded with, "we have no availability today" which Philip could have done as well. However, he chose not to.

We are so grateful for people like this still serving our community even if it doesn't yield immediate financial gain. Thank you Philip! Because of your willingness to help in any way possible , we will absolutely use North Georgia Electrical Services for any future needs and share this story with others in our neighborhood to help ensure good people like you and your business are rewarded. Again, Thank you!

All the way around five stars!!! Will definitely recommend to all family and friends! Communication, punctuality, cleanliness, & pricing were beyond expectation. My favorite part was just the thoroughness and diligence of the team! Thank you all so much.

Highly recommend NGES! Philip and Tyler did a tremendous job replacing our old lofted ceiling lights with new LEDs. They were on time and finished the job faster than expected. There were no hidden fees and Philip was communicative from quote to install. We will be using NGES for any electrical need we have going forward!

I called and spoke to the friendly office manager, Amber, who arranged for someone to help me install a new light fixture in just 30 minutes. Antonio was professional and kind. He did an excellent job with our project.
