I would not recommend this company. It’s hard to get in contact with them. Also, when first getting my solar panels installed my husband and I were told that if we move we can bring them with us and now that we are moving they said we can not move them at all and they have to stay where they are. It’s either we pay them off or transfer to new home owners. We reiterated this multiple times and were told that it would not be a problem. Highly disappointed in this company.

Very unethical company. Avoid at all costs! I have been dealing with them for almost 2 years now, yes 2 YEARS, with the cancellation of a project that should not have passed the evaluation phase. They have taken funds from their lending partner Mosaic knowing that the project was discontinued and is now deliberating on the promise of an 'escalated cancellation'. I have been calling them WEEKLY since the start of the year, with no update. They do not care that my credit is being affected by this nonsense.

The forever eva crew Kiara,Jason,joseph,tsu. They showed up on time as stated. Work was amazing very clean and very informative as they worked through their task to keep me updated.

Crew did a great job installing, BUT VERY POOR COMMUNICATION, the process of getting my solar panels installed has been incredibly difficult, they were installed in early October and are still not functional. I have been making payments on them for 3 months now while paying my electric bill(which they promised wouldn’t happen). They didn’t get any documents over to the energy company until the end of November which has pushed the activation to February because of the holidays. Despite the crew doing a good job installing them they did leave a lot of trash around my yard, I had tools, metal pieces and gloves falling off my roof for 2 weeks. Don’t work with them if you want your solar panels installed quickly because I signed paperwork in July and by the time these are active it will be almost 8 months. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.

Southern installers did a fantastic job installing the Tesla Powerwall and additional panels. It was scheduled for a two day install but the crew did it all in one day. I couldn’t ask for more. Highly knowledgeable and professional!

Team freedom Eva was an awesome team and went above and beyond to install our solar panels in record time. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and their work ethic was great. They kept us informed throughout the whole process. It was a pleasure having them working at our home. We had full confidence in their work and knowledge.

I do not understand why the cancellation process is such a hassle?!?!

We decided not to go through with the project and cancelled LAST YEAR. Maybe our sales rep (Roosevelt) dropped the ball on sending the cancellation in, who knows. What I do know..... WE DID NOT GET SOLAR PANELS INSTALLED, NOR DID WE RECEIVE ANY FUNDS TO DO SO. There was absolutely no work done, but I have a lien on my property and no one can explain why it's there or how long "underwriting" will take to verify the cancellation.

I also do not understand how I can call into the customer service department only to get conflicting answers as to what the process is to get a resolution. After speaking with Malcolm on 2/29 and Oscar and Lorena (supervisor) yesterday 3/13 and I still can't get any assistance on getting this lien off of our property. For some odd reason, NO ONE that I can speak to in customer service has ANY POSSIBLE way to contact the financial department to help get this situation rectified. Basically, "trust that we'll get it done, maybe, at some point, because we've been so trustworthy up to this point". None of this makes any sense to me...the lack of communication, the process, or the difficulty in getting this handled. Freedom saying the project is cancelled, but our underwriting department doesn't know it yet is CRAZY to me. Lorena was very adamant about making sure that no one else (Mosaic) would hear her say that the project was cancelled.

The situation comes off as RETALIATION for canceling the project. How can I have a lien on my property without owing any money and not having any solar panels installed??? By definition of what a lien is for, there should not be one on my property from this company. I wonder if the BBB would agree with what seems like retaliation. Judging from the reviews...it seems as if the ONLY people that have problems with this company are the ones trying to cancel.

We just got installed by the Southern team. Very fast and professional installation. A+

I cancelled a project in January 2023 because the sales rep could not provide me with a breakdown of the costs. However, in January 2024, Solar Mosaic, their lending partner, started servicing the loan - Freedom Forever took the loan proceeds anyway, and Solar Mosaic refuses to release me from the debt, because Freedom Forever has not sent them a cancellation of the project. I learned today that FF denied the cancellation. As far as I can tell, FF took the money, refuses to pay it back, and Solar Mosaic is holding me responsible for the debt. Completely unaccountable and disastrous customer service. There are st least five similar complaints in the reviews. Do not work with this company.
UPDATE: For the first time ever, a Freedom Forever rep called me today, only because I posted a Google review. They just let me know the exact same thing I've heard for the past 3 months. I'm seeing numerous cases exactly like mine. Using customers to finance their company is clearly their business model. I told the rep not to call me unless they're confirming the loan has been cancelled with Solar Mosiac.

May 2023 I canceled my contract before they started any installation. I have recently found out there's still a lien on my home although we never had any panels installed. I have been trying to get this taken care of for 3 weeks! My case has been "escalated" and I still haven't gotten a resolution. Mosaic said they received a denial of my cancellation!!! This is absolutely ridiculous! No one can get in touch with their underwriters to assist in helping me. Stay far away from this company!

Team Lemonade did an outstanding job. Couldn’t ask for a better Team well led by Eric. The activation process hasn’t gone so well. Equipment has been installed since April but still not activated. Customer service is very polite and respectful but no action negates all of it. May update this when it finally gets resolved. Salesman very hands off after the sale though. Guess he got his money.

This company sucks! Stay away from this company at all costs not trustworthy. I contacted this company to have solar panels which an inspector came and determine that my roof was damaged and could not support the weight of panels. Part of the deal was that my roof was supposed to be replaced for me to obtain solar panels, that was not the case they tried to do things backwards. At the end, there was a lot of going back-and-forth and decided to cancel my contract. My surprise was I had to pay a cancellation fee that was not mentioned due to receiving securities system with Vivint free at no cost. It’s been over a year and I still haven’t been able to resolve my situation with them. I have no choice but to pay the cancellation fee not to mention that I’m paying a monthly payment so that my credit is not being affected. My advice to anyone that is thinking about doing business with freedom forever read the small print and the contract. It will save you the headache which I’m going through.

The roll out team was amazing they did everything in 1 day I love how they did everything so smooth. Great work, very professional would definitely recommend.

First let me start by saying that if there was an option to give less than 1 star I would.

I had my panels installed almost a year ago, 07/07/23, to be exact. I have been waiting for almost a year and paying over $400 in utilities monthly (about half from the local electric company and the other half from the decorative solar panels). At this point, I am unclear what I am paying for other than the new roof that was installed. The panels are generating power but this power is not going to my home, yet, I am paying for something that looks nice on the roof? Please help me understand that. I have been waiting to see when the electric bill would lessen from the power company but it has remained as high as it was prior to the solar panels being installed. I contacted Freedom Forever at the beginning of last week by email and their canned response was that they were sorry for my inconvenience and that their system was designed to generate power when the sun is shining and recommended that I not use energy-consuming appliances during daytime hours. They did acknowledge that they show that the system is generating solar power and that there were no detected alerts on the system from their end. But there was nothing stated to address why I am still paying the same amount for the electric bill from the power company that I was for this "solar" service that the sales rep assured me would go down or go away once the panels were in place. Since I had not heard anything back from them, I sent another email on Friday asking for a response by Monday EOB. The email I received this morning sent me through the roof. The same non-native English person responded with a similar version of the canned response I received early in the week but with a modified note now saying that since we are approaching the one year anniversary of the install date of 07/07/2024 that we should wait until August (paying over $400/month in utility bills) so that they can have a full year of information to determine if there is a problem with their system and then after their analysis that they would issue any reimbursements due. What kind of response is that? Who pays for a service that they have not received for one day let alone one year? Please make this make sense. In legal terms, this is either fraud or a ponzi scheme when you claim something that produces a different result. If you ever have someone from this company call or email you, immediately call law enforcement and report them!!

A month later and still no response. What an excellent representation from this company. They really want me to pay GA Power and to have decorative panels on my roof while they bill me for something that doesn't work. Their customer service team informed me that it is best for me to wait until July after I will have had these ornaments on my roof for a whole year while they collect "data" on how well the panels are "working" before they can assist. I'm guessing by their lack of response that this means that they really want me to pay for a service that has never worked. Sounds pretty illegal and highly unethical business practice to me.

Must say I was really impressed by the time management of the The Rollout crew. The team were very polite with their requests and maintained a high level of safety while carrying out the installation. Good job gus.

My experience with Freedom Forever Solar have been nothing but smooth. To Brandon our sell representative to customer service. They have guide us through the whole process step by step. We had questions and they were there to help us understand and explain what was going to happen and what was next to come. They were very patient. Appointments for installation were flexible. I am happy with my system and hoping for many years to come. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts Ruben and Belinda❤️

Awesome experience. Had constant communication from these guys all along our process from signing up, to the installation. Its nice getting updates as the projects comes to be installed! They took care of all the HOA requirements for me and made it supper simple. I was very impressed.

Worst solar company to hire I Will NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANY ONE . install tec have no skills they destroy my roof broken shingles had my roof replaced a few month new. They send out some one to fix it but it was not fix completely.. I will reach out to a roof company to go up and check the damages. Un profinal services the install tec give us all mix up information regarding the system. Still my system get approved to turn on still waiting over a month for some one to call me to get my app set up from the solar company 😤

Our experience has been awful. The salesman, Rafael Arocho lied to us telling us we would get a rebate. In order to obtain the rebate he consulted with his supervisor who agreed. To date, nothing, and avoids our communication. His supervisor Davy Collins hung up us when we called. We initially contacted them because when researching solar companies in Athens Georgia they were highly recommended. Our experience has been terrible, we had solar with Sunnova in our previous house and were very happy. This is why we decided to install solar when we moved to Georgia. Not at all happy with their honesty.
