-
Extremely unprofessional from the customer service reps to the drivers. Price kept changing with each phone call. Also my items were damaged upon delivery. The worst experience I've ever had.
-
Do not use this company. Very unprofessional, rude. They Charge you for them to destroy your furniture. They would not unload until I signed the paperwork and paid them. How they stay in business I will never know. Very bad company.

I moved from Tennessee, to Georgia. The customer service was amazing which was by Natalie. The movers where polite respectful and kind to my kids. They took extra care of my belongings. I recommend this company to everyone. Thank you

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Go to the BBB and review their ratings. Any positive ratings here are probably from the company themselves. I lost thousands of dollars using this company and they never responded to a claim. In fact, they wrote in the Google review that they had no record of my move. They use different registered names and have unethical business practices.

I was very impressed with service from “soup to nuts”. Susan was my contact person and I cannot rave about her enough. She was professional while understanding and empathetic. Daman and crew were efficient, professional and courteous. I have nothing but praise for everyone I dealt with at Movers van Lines.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Don’t let the reviews below fool you!! Please save yourself headache, save yourself pain, save yourself from wasted money!! Pick up movers were rude, unprofessional. The delivery went ok... Until the mover threw a tarp/furniture cover over the loft to the floor downstairs and broke a tv. A tv that wasn't apart of the actual move! This tv wasn't apart of the moving contract being we did not have them deliver it, so in fact it should be replaced 100% by the company. They offered $25 towards it. Unacceptable! Jeremy the “operations manager” was rude and disrespectful and should be fired then replaced. Susan & Ron may seem like they know what they are doing but they have no clue. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Pay for peace of mind and security with someone else! They will mess up your move at some point one way or another.

BE AWARE OF INCREDIBLY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS AND INABILITY TO COMMUNICATE!!!!
Showed up over 24 hours late for a contractual move.
Over 20 unreturned phone calls, e mails and texts between their office and field supervisor over a 24 hour period.
Total disregard for our wasted hours waiting for them to show up.
When they did show up the second day (3 1/2 hours late) their truck was half full of other peoples furniture..we didn’t complete our move due to lack of space and time due to their late arrival.
Owner and supervisor demanded cash, zelle or wire transfer before unloading. Refused credit card after office had my card for the deposit and I was told the move could be put on the card.
Refused to unload and was bullied and threatened with refusing to
Offload, to drive away with our furniture and to charge us for extra time
and storage until we gave them cash and zelle.
100 percent unprofessional office and goes to show you anyone can rent a tuck and claim
To be a mover.
BE AWARE OF THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES PRIOR TO HIRING THEM.
On a good note..the actual movers and crew chief were great. First class all the way. Careful with our goods and patient as this unfortunate situation unfolded.....Apparently they have seen this before.
The fault is totally with the Owner, field supervisor and especially the office for total lack
Of commitment and dedication to their customers and their needs.
IF YOUR CONSIDERING THEM....RUN FAST AND RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS YOU CAN!! -
Please stay away! I give them a ZERO. Ben is a despicable human being and should be charged with robbery. Not only did they hold me hostage in my kitchen with my 94 year old grandfather but they upcharged me without being able to prove with a bill of lading how my items were over. My inventory list matched theirs exactly and yet I was still charged almost $1,000 extra. I was bullied. I was told they would keep my things if I didn't pay them more money. The owners Ben and Jeremy are crooks. Stay away! Ben and Jeremy have no business running a business. Now that I've read other reviews, I'm disgusted. Unfortunately I didn't hire this company. They were hired by a third party whom I hired in the first place. Had I had a choic, I wouldn't NEVER hire them to do my move. Please learn from my mistake do not hire these people!

The people who had come for packing damaged the wall by forcibly removing child safety gate. They did okay with packing and delivery was on time. But here goes the real story. They told to file a claim for damages and even for a wall damage they did they offered few cents / lb reimbursement which happens to be their standard via third party. Fed up with their explanation I even agreed to it. It's been 8 months and they still haven't sent my settlement check. They don't respond to calls, VM, emails. Utter shameless people, you're lucky if you'll have good experience. Please don't use their service.

After speaking to several moving companies, I made a huge mistake and chose Mover's Van Lines truly basing my decision on the fake reviews on google site. This company moved me on October 1, 2020. Prior to the move, I spoke to Ron Fine who said he's their sales/office manager person. He made it appear like they were the best movers in the world. He told me they would have things to wrap my large glass items, pictures and what ever fragile items and extra things I may have that are not boxed up. He also told me their fee was $145/hr and with three men my move would probably only take 3 hours. I only had 3 beds, 3 dressers, a small dining set and a sofa & love seat, 3 TV's and miscellaneous items. Well when they arrived, this smug mean unprofessional mover foreman named Michael told me they would not be moving any items that I have that were not boxed up. Contrary to what Ron Fine told me. He also said they would not move any wall art pictures if they are not boxed up. He, and his other 2 men, moved slow as molasses. It took them 7 hours!!!! They milked the clock and did not move all of my items at all. When we finally finished all of what they said they would be moving out of my house (which was not nearly what I needed them to move) . They then said they were taking a lunch break. The lunch break was for a hour and a half on my time!!!! I contacted their office and of course, Ron Fine was no where to be found! When they came off of their lunch break and we arrived at my new place. They again moved slow as possible. They moved some items to my apartment and the items they were supposed to move to my daughter's apt they did not move to her apartment. (We moved in the same apartment complex). After that, when they finally came to the move of my things into my apartment. The foreman told me, he cannot move anymore of my things until I pay him CASH or Money Order. ?????? That was news to me!!!! Not one time did their office staff tell me I had to pay before the move was completed and also pay them in the form of cash!!!!! My quote list methods of payment to be mastercard, visa, etc. After having serious discussion and complaints over the phone with their owner Jeremy Yirmiahu, I was so tired of them I agreed to Zelle the payment. Well the payment was based on 7 hours!!!! Not 3 hours as quoted. That was equivalent to $1,000.00!!!!! I was so very dissatisfied with this moving company! But that did not top it off. The next day, I went to my storage around the corner where they had dropped my dining table off as they agreed. I looked and saw that they had cracked my dining table!!!!!!!!!!!! It was cracked and they never said not one word! I have called, text, the manager, the owner several times to date and have not gotten a phone call or any response from either one of them. I have no choice and will seek legal proceedings against this moving company from hell. I warn anybody do not, and I mean do not use them ever! They are the worse!!

In short: Company attempted to violate the contract as written and charge me 5x the contracted re-delivery fee.
Upon first attempted delivery, I informed the business that I would need to delay the delivery by 3 days. They then told me that I would be charged a redelivery fee of 1500 dollars. However, I signed a contract with the company saying that the redelivery fee would be 1 dollar/cubic foot. Specifically, the clause stated verbatim: "Redelivery Fee $1 per cf for jobs less than 500cf, $0.75 per cf for jobs over 501cf." In this case, that would be 300 dollars. Even with a storage cost of "$50 per 100cf plus labor" being appended to this, the redelivery cost they attempted to charge me would have valued labor at 1050 dollars.
Long story short: If you're gonna work with these guys, read the contract very carefully, know every term inside and out, because they will try to lie to you. -
My experience started out seemingly okay. I explained that the contents of my home had been evaluated by another moving company. They blindly took that evaluation and quoted me two trucks based on the other movers estimate. They never asked for a detailed inventory of what they would be moving. I was told that the inventory would be taken upon arrival, but it wasn't. To make matters worse, I had an eight hundred pound safe that was included at a premium. The crew packed two trucks with some furniture, but mostly boxes. THEY LEFT THE SAFE!!!!! I was told that the trucks were full and that I would need a third truck...... So I am now left in Orlando with part of my things in route to GA. As I walked around and saw what was left behind I realized that this HUGE discrepancy was or should have been obvious as soon as they arrived. When I contacted the office they didn't seem to care one bit. I was told that it's a "hard business". They offered no concession or opportunity to win my business for the third truck. The operations manager was vulgar, rude, unprofessional and used profanity. I made arrangements with a second moving company that was fantastic. PLEASE do not be swayed by positive reviews. I made that mistake. Dig a little deeper and do extensive research. I would hate for anyone to have to deal with this type of treatment. If the foreman had told me upon arrival that there was an issue we could have resolved things, but there was no communication, knowledge or professionalism involved.

Movers van line's was a great company. Very professional staff a knowledgable company as to the moving business. The price was thorough and competitive. The driver informed me of the times of arrival and followed through was his estimated time of arrival. Also the movers were very polite and courteous. They even went the extra mile to take care of my things that were fragile. At one point during the move my son had packed his tablet, the movers unpacked the truck to find his things and repacked in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company to anyone moving. Thank you Movers Van Lines. Thank you natalie and Jeremy for all your professional help!

The movers themselves were professional and nice. However when movers brought our stuff back they lost screws to our 1800 bed. Tore the floor in our brand new home. Lost shelves, alot of dings and dents in cabinets and such. Then to try and file a claim is ridiculous. Then getting called
illiterate by the claims center. I am so fruterated and upset paying over 6000.00 to move cross state lines. There was already so much on our plates and then having to deal with the disrespect and unprofessionalism was just over the top. I will never reccomend to anyone and will never do this again. Plus they didn't even take all the stuff they were supposed to. Had to still rent a uhaul and storage for rest of our stuff. Trying to talk to or get a hold of anyone was a joke was talked down too and disrespected. -
The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Did interstate move from Atlanta to Detroit. Pick up drivers were professional, efficient, perfect. Drop off driver was unprofessional, rude, and when I told dispatch what was going on they were even ruder. As of now they have our belongings held hostage. Trust me, use any other moving company. Drop off driver man and dispatch man were very aggressive. Single women use a different company. Try two men and a truck.

Warning—Warning!! Do not use Mover’s Van Lines moving company. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. The owners are unprofessional and only interested in money and how much they can manipulate the customer into getting more and more money. They completely lack customer service. We moved from NC to GA and used a broker company based out in Florida (we didn’t know this at the time) to get a quote and schedule a moving date. We paid a hefty deposit online to them. We thought this company were going to be the one’s that move us, but no. That broker company hired movers van lines, inc. from Doraville, GA to come pack our things and move us . They arrived very late, with a truck that wasn’t big enough for all of our household items. AND when they began packing and loading, once they reached a little under half of the truck space, they said in order for them to load and fill up the rest of the truck bed, we would have to pay them more money—- A couple thousand dollars more. They knew we were in a stressful situation and had time constraints to be out of NC. They took advantage of us for more money. Not only once but twice in asking for more money to finish the job. I had to pay them right away or the owner threatened that the movers will stop packing and loading. They still ended up not being able to pack all of our household items. We had to leave many things behind and leave it in storage. I tried several times to reach out to the owner of the company to express my concerns and get an explanation that made sense, but he told me he was too busy to speak to me and would call me back. Well, he never called me back. Save yourself the added stress, disappointment and anguish—- don’t use this moving company.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!The google reviews are not true for this company. Go to the Better Business Bureau and see the real reviews for “Mover’s Van Lines.” I wish I had read the reviews on the BBB before moving forward. Don’t be fooled by the cheap prices from the sales associate. Pay the extra money for a professional moving team. The owner/operations manager Jeremy likes to yell at women and you will not be able to reach him if you have questions in regards to when you will receive your articles. The time frame is 1-10 days and I was told 3-5 days initially. All communication is unfortunately through the sales associates which causes many delays in communication. The sales associates will give an email for Jeremy which is info@movervanlines.com but Jeremy NEVER responds. Jeremy also likes to hang up on customers. The movers threw at least 5-10 tarps at one time over our loft and the cover hit our TV causing it to break. The movers called someone on the phone and my husband and I were told we would get our TV replaced. Our TV was not moved by the movers however, the company is still wanting use the “60 cents per pound” insurance and give us $25 for a 43in TV. The movers did not move our TV which makes the contract null and void but Jeremy did not want to listen so we now have to file complaints and possible legal action. We have many other dishes and plates broken as well that is part of the contract. The movers on the 1st day did not come with tools to break down our beds. The movers actually knocked on a neighbors door to ask for tools to break down 2 beds that was listed on our article sheet weeks prior!! The movers on the 1st day was also not friendly and one was on his phone talking to a female very loudly not caring that we were still working from home in our study.

I’ve hired a lot of movers in my life and I have never had the outstanding service that I received from Movers Van Lines. Not one item was broken or damaged. They never bumped or nicked a wall. All of my packed items arrived safely. They disassembled and re-assembled every thing that needed it and kept track of all fixtures- none were lost. They did not surprise me with any extra charges— the amount we agreed upon over the phone quote and then on the written document was exactly what I was charged. The workers were polite, articulate and very skilled at packing, moving and stacking items in the truck. They set up the beds and helped me set up my office and living room. Not once did I hear a complaint or bad word about the company or co workers. They moved at a steady pace without loitering and also without rushing, which causes damage. I can not say enough about the quality service. The quality of these workers made all the difference in my move. Many of my items are priceless to my family and I. Everything arrived intact, and my walls and floors were undamaged. They were timely, and every reasonably priced. Movers Van Lines are high end movers that can be trusted. Thank you to your staff especially Natalee. I wish you the very best and truly thank you for making my move the best move of my life! God bless you and your families and your business.

The only reason I am giving this company a 2 star rating instead of a 1 star rating, is because Omar packed my glass items extremely well to where they were all received without a scratch on them. The reason for this rating is because a lot of my items received were messed up with scratches, dents, and once out back together completely stripped screws on everything. We had to purchase a new king size bed because all the planks and the footboard were wrapped, we had to use a wrench to remove the screws because they had absolutely no head on them anymore. Once they left our house we were moving from, I was informed they didn’t have anymore “room” or boxes to pack up the rest of my things (keep in mind we were moving from Georgia to Kentucky), I had two in a half slap full, barely had room for my kid both trips up full of things they did not pack. And I am beyond thankful for my mom who came up to meet the movers with me because they upped our final payment and Venmo would only allow my husband and I to each send $1,000 and we were short another $500, because they do not take card, even though the paperwork that was sent via the company we schedule the move with said otherwise on the payment and that they excepted card. It was a complete nightmare, and I would not recommend them if you are moving and amount of long distance.
