Reviews of local pros in Forest Park, Georgia

I traveled to the USA from Mexico to visit my father, and he decided to freshen up his home by cleaning the ducts. The team was polite, efficient, and left the air noticeably cleaner. I told them I’d leave a positive review because they truly earned it. The only critique is they left a small pile of dust near one vent, but they cleaned it up when we pointed it out.

Reliable company. Emma does a great time every time she comes. Really helped me out in a pinch when my family came through town to visit on short notice. Thanks so much.

I love Squeaky Green! I love using their cleaning services. I love the fact that they use their own products which are organic and clean ingredients. And they smell so so so good!

I hired Squeaky Green last week and am far from pleased with their quality of service and professionalism, which came as a surprise because this company comes highly recommended by many in a neighborhood group I trust. My house is less than 1,000 square, so I'm actually really surprised by the seeming lack of effort put into cleaning
On their website I specifically selected to have the baseboards cleaned (which came at a premium) and they weren't touched, there was still dog hair in the hallway as if it wasn't vacuumed, there was also dog hair and dust on most surfaces which tells me they didn't dust, the dog bowl mats were still covered in dog hair, the curtains were where I left them that morning which suggests they didn't clean the window sills or the windows, the bedspread was just kind of flopped over the bed as if a teenager did it in a rush, and everything they did move in order to clean something was not put back where it originally came from so I had to clean up after them. The only things that looked better than if I were to have cleaned them myself were the tub and the kitchen sink.
The house didn't even smell clean when I walked in. That's less of a requirement, but it was still pretty disappointing.
Upon following up with Maria, the owner, about my poor experience, she offered to send someone to my home for a "touch up." I gave her some times I would be available to accommodate the cleaner and didn't hear back until a cleaner randomly showed up at my door on a Sunday afternoon unannounced.
Even after the touch up service, my home didn't look, feel, or smell clean. Maria claims that her cleaners spent 6+ hours cleaning my not-even-1,000 square foot home (she apparently tracks them by GPS), which I find absolutely absurd especially considering that it wasn't even cleaned thoroughly. What were the cleaners doing? Watching TV in my home for 6+ hours and occasionally tidying a random surface?
When I told Maria I still wasn't satisfied with the quality of the work, she proceeded to send me a $200 Venmo request...for my TINY house and a job poorly done. I offered to pay what I thought was fair, which was the $160 I was originally estimated. She said it's non-negotiable and that I should have set an end time if I didn't want to spend so much money. Since when is it a homeowner's responsibility to demand a job well-done and to not be taken advantage of?
I paid Maria the $160, which is gracious considering. She proceeded to send me a $40 Venmo request and threaten to send it to collections if I didn't pay AND to guilt trip me because she's a small business. I'm a strong supporter of small business and an advocate for living wages, but when the job isn't done properly the money is not earned.
Upon making my experience known in the original group I discovered them in, many people came forward and also shared their poor experiences with me in private messages for fear of disrupting the group. Why are these people so afraid of speaking the truth?
DO NOT HIRE SQUEAKY GREEN CLEANING COMPANY unless you want to throw your hard earned money down the drain and still end up with an uncleaned home. -
The 2 people who came by and cleaned our place blew me away!! Our apartment looks cleaner and shinier than it did when we first moved in. I was also treated with kindness and understanding, zero judgement, when I first contacted them and explained that my apartment was a mess due to depression and that I needed serious help and a deep clean. I had a great experience.

I'm not going to lie... This has been the WORST cleaning experience I have been through start to finish.
I requested Squeaky Green's services a bit over a month ago. My wife and I were leaving our 2000sqft apartment as we had just bought a house. On the positive side, I made a last minute reservation and even though the owner of Squeaky Green was on vacation, she said she'd make sure someone got there to take care of it in time. I appreciate this being done, but my problem was with the cleaning, not the owner (until the end).
I was advised I would be called by the cleaners but never was. They were supposed to be at my apartment by 8AM but did not arrive until noon (while I was in the only meeting of the day at work). I was advised they would call when finished but after almost 6 hours, I never received a call. When I finally came back to the apartment at 6:30pm (after not being able to reach anyone), there was no one there and no telling how long they actually spent working or when they left. I waited another 40 minutes but no one showed up. I never even got to do an official final walkthrough which was needed because the house was still dirty.
The house was only moderately cleaned. The carpet was still dirty in spots, toilet bowls were not cleaned thoroughly, baseboards don't really look like they were touched, one of the shelves in my refrigerator was broken and just placed on the inside without any notice (had to pay apartment owner for this when I left), and the stairs were still dirty.
The house overall did not smell very clean either. Alot of other reviews mention this same thing and reason that it is because they use green products. I have used other green companies, and there has always been some sort of clean smell.
Obviously, I called another cleaning company who came next day to reclean the house (and it was done properly). Unfortunately, that means I had to pay for two cleaning services.
When I reached out to the owner about how unsatisfied I was, I was given a spiel about how she's a small business just trying to make it work. I sent her pictures of all the things that were still dirty about the place but she never really addressed but instead was told things like carpet cleaning was a separate service (what? I'm not asking it to be steam cleaned, just clean the carpet normally.)
The other company had no problem getting the house recleaned to my satisfaction. When advised of this, the owner said that they were able to do it because they use harsh chemicals. That seems like you are admitting your company does a substandard job because you are trying to be green which should not be the case as my wife and I have used 2 other green companies in the past two years.
Just as a note to others: their website does not reflect the actual payment structure. She advised that the estimator tool on her website is not a true reflection of what we will be charged. Instead it is simply $35 per cleaner per hour. She reasons that this will illustrate that additional tasks will increase the amount of time the maids have to clean which increases the price. Regardless, still misleading.. ESPECIALLY if you are not notified of when they left. Luckily, there was a concierge on the property who was able to give me the time they left.
After our dispute, she sends me an venmo request for $210. I told her I would pay what I thought was fair which was $155 (which is generous) which she agreed to.
Overall, EXTREMELY unpleased. I had to get another cleaning company to reclean the house after Squeaky Green's visit. When I told this to the owner, she said I should have just called them back to reclean. Why would I call you back when my experience with Squeaky Green Cleaning was so abysmal?
10/10 would not recommend and 10/10 would never use them again. -
I love squeaky green! I love that they're flexible with my schedule and when I have them come to clean regularly they always check in with me ahead of time to see if I have any special requests that aren't necessarily a part of the routine clean. Plus my house smells amazing after they leave and I love knowing it's all natural. Thank you Maria!

Literally could not have had a better experience with Squeaky Green. They accommodated every request I had and I came home to an incredibly clean and good smelling home. I'll never use another company. Give them a shot and I promise you won't be disppointed!

Squeaky Green has done multiple cleans for me and I couldn’t be happier. My most recent experience was no different. Everything I noted and asked for was addressed to perfection. I wouldn’t dare use another cleaning company in the Atlanta area and I look forward to using them again in the future.

The team at Squeaky Green consistently wows me with the quality of their work. They are communicative around the appointment and about our needs in terms of cleaning. Lastly, I appreciate the environmentally-friendly products SG makes and uses… they leave my house smelling fresh!

I found Squeaky Green through a trusted online community, and couldn't have been more thrilled with Maria, Katie, and Adam. I'm a Type A over-communicator with anxiety, and from the jump, Maria helped me feel at ease by answering many (many) questions via email and phone. Being my first experience with a cleaning service, I was nervous/embarrassed to ask a cleaning service to help out, but Katie and Adam were super friendly and detailed. They didn't bat an eye at my cleaning requests, although they were odd; I have a cat with a sneezing problem, and both Certified Green Clean Neat Freaks committed to scrubbing cat boogers off of baseboards (!!). My shower, bathroom, and kitchen have never been so clean - and it was all using natural cleaning products?? I'm amazed. Highly, highly recommend this crew!
