I am thoroughly disappointed in RELIABLE HEAT & AIR. I am currently still awaiting repair of a blower on a 2 year old TRANE unit I bought from RELIABLE in August, 2023. MY SYSTEM REMAINS UNFIXED even though I called RELIABLE on Tuesday to report an issue with this 2- year old unit.

In August of 2023 I needed to replace 2 of the 3 units at my home. I decided to do one at a time to gauge the performance and service used. I purchased an 18 seer TRANE unit to replace a dual fuel heat & air 16 seer LENNOX unit that lasted 21 years and which serviced my zoned 3rd floor of my home. RELIABLE sent 2 technicians who spent a full day removing the Lennox unit and installing the new Trane unit. 24 hrs later, we realized the unit wasn’t working so we recalled RELIABLE. 4 days later RELIABLE sent a technician who spent 4.5+ hours troubleshooting before determining that the system was wired incorrectly, however, he shared that he was not permitted to rewire it; that would require a different crew. It took another 3 days while my family made do in the August heat. RELIABLE can can check their records assuming they keep this data to see that everything I state here is 100% FACT!

In November, 2023, I replaced a second Lennox unit at my home using a COMPETITOR of RELIABLE. The LENNOX unit I decided to replace, still worked, but lasted 21+ years also. I replaced it primarily due to its age and to get away from the “old” Freon system for environmental reasons. I decided not to use RELIABLE, and went to a competitor who sold me a similar sized-capacity unit made by RHEEM. I take very good care of all my units (3) and to-date, the RHEEM unit which is the workhorse in my home has performed admirably servicing the main level of my house. The company that I used to purchase the second unit from has won my business for my corporation as well. I am a Global Director of Procurement for a $16.2B fiber conglomerate with North American headquarters in the metro area. That competitor to RELIABLE has benefited from their excellent performance at my home because I’ve mandated we use them for all of our commercial needs (>142 units) at the corporate level.

Note that I purchased this TRANE unit from RELIABLE in August 2023. In March of 2024, I called for normal preventative maintenance which I do on all of my units. RELIABLE came out and found that the system wasn’t functioning as it should. It took RELIABLE 6 different visits over a span of 3+ weeks using everyone from technicians to a field supervisor before they finally determined the 8 month old unit needed the evaporator replaced. Then that took 7 days before a replacement evaporator was sent to my home and for them to come out 2 days later to do the repairs. In late July, 2025, my system again failed shortly after annual preventative maintenance. RELIABLE determined I again needed to replace the evaporator a second time. That took another 9 days from initial reporting to repair. Less than a month later, the same unit failed again. Again it took RELIABLE 3 days to get me scheduled for a technician(s) to come to my home. Then they told me that the blower in the same TRANE unit needed to be replaced. I’m still waiting for that to be repaired while running every ceiling fan.

RELIABLE HEAT & AIR has been the worst performing company I’ve dealt with both professionally and personally! I've tried complaining to the company directly, but it's proven they don't care. I challenged RELIABLE (in a survey response) to pull up my records and they will see that what I state here to be 100% accurate and factual. All they need to do is review the history of servicing my home. This experience with RELIABLE has been a nightmare! I would never recommend your company. That commercial you broadcast is what got me to call you in the first place, now it’s just a reminder of a company with strong brand presence, but subpar service.

I’d like to thank Mr Floyd Arena for an outstanding job in the installation of my 65 gallon hybrid hot water heater. He’s extremely knowledgeable and professional, installation clean up and the overall process was a pleasure to witness. He is a wonderful person and takes pride in he’s craft of being a master plumber. Reliable Heating and Air should be proud to have you representing the company. Highy recommended this gentleman and the company.

Nick was very professional and super nice! He arrived on time, worked efficiently on my system, gave me an honest assessment of the problems, then worked to solve it. He even made my next appt for me, to save me the trouble of calling. I would be happy to have him work on my HVAC system again!

We had an urgent need for our water heater to be replaced and Reliable was able to provide us with same-day installation. Shaw communicated with me regarding arrival time and was thorough in explaining each step of the installation process. He and his partner were professional and I had full confidence in them. Great AC tech came out for the maintenance on my unit. His name is Nick. I've really had a great experience with Reliable so far. They have the availability when I need them and don't give me the run around like others have done. Good business folks.

Steven Barnett was a great representation of Reliable Heating and Air. He did an Amazing job with my water filter system install and fast. Tony did a great job installing my water heater and explaining things about it to me, Olie and Jason are amazing sales representatives they both took their time to help me understand my options and the products and set appointments up for my fast. Reliable Heating & Air is a company that you can depend on to provide excellent service. If anything goes wrong they’re will make sure that you as a customer will get the best of service. While moving our refrigerator we noticed a small drip after turning off the valve behind the fridge. It was around 7:30pm on s Friday night when our realtor called a friend at Reliable Heating and Air. On a Friday night and on his way home,!! he made a detour to come to my house after sending him some pis of the valve and pipes. Floyd arrived a bit after 8:30 pm. By 9 he was done and the cost was reasonable. Floyd was a true professional and all around nice guy. I cant tell you how thankful I am that Floyd was willing to add one more stop to what was already very long day. I would highly recommend Floyd and Reliable Heating And Air to anyone in need of heating, Plumbing or Electrical services. I’d like to personally thank Floyd for being available and for his professionalism. Well done!!

Reliable Heating and Air is a wonderful company to work with. From the sales person who sold us 5 HVAC systems, to the remarkable SINGLE installer who meticulously treated our home as his own and took EXCELLENT care of us, so the call center and service team, we have received nothing but service second to none. Every service call has been a no haggle, no nickel and dime experience. Most under warranty, they simply come out and fix what needs to be fixed. They are courteous, protect the home from dirt… the little things. Arianna Brown, the last person to assist us was flawless in their customer support. The only thing that I disagree with is the comfort as a service concept…BUT, not my company, so who cares? Bottom line, Reliable is a great company to have working in your home..

I trust Reliable. They’ve always treated me fairly and been respectful of my time and home. Their technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. Having a service contract with them gives me peace of mind with my HVAC system.

Excellent learning ⁉️reliable heating came to fix heating system…… diagnosed…. Give price to fix only $1200 with 20% discount ⁉️ Very and highly expert technician and company but I called another company they fixed it $400 !!!!!!!
Now I am going to kick them out from monthly contract which I have over 7/8 years cause this reliable heating is nothing but making people fool !!!!!!

Jason was extremely professional and patient with us. He answered our questions, and he gave us expert advice about our HVAC System. He was respectful of our new floors and she used the shoe covers. Great service!

Mike Szyperski was super nice, professional and did a great job at servicing our a/c unit. I recommend Reliable as they have always been responsive and professional in the 5+ years we've used their services. They installed our generator and come regularly for seasonal maintenance.

We had a new system installed that has three zones. The primary thermostat was replaced. We have had two techs try and fix a problem with one of the zones. When I called today the person on the line wanted to charge us to have someone come out , for the third time , to fix a problem with their installation. They had no record of the previous visits.
Do not do business with Reliable. In addition to what seems to be incompetency there are ethical issues. Check their Better Business Reviews.

The electrician who was dispatched to our home, David, was personable, professional, and polite. He installed a new light fixture, repaired fans, and replaced switches quickly and efficiently, and cleaned everything up when he was done. As always, we couldn’t be happier with the service we receive from Reliable.

Last week Reliable Heating & Air installed our new Trane HVAC system. Our consultant Olie Prevallet was so helpful in guiding us through the decision of which unit to purchase. Olie was friendly, professional and very experienced with heating & air equipment. Our installers, Jonathan Hart and Steve installed the Trane XR17 Variable Speed Multistage Heat Pump and Air Handler. They did an excellent job including a meticulous installation, cleanup with a courteous, professional attitude. We would highly recommend Reliable Heating & Air.

Randy McGhee was to come and install a UV light 💡 bulb. When he got there, I was told that we should have had light bulb mailed to my house. I never got one. He stated he was going to call his office and see what is going on. He NEVER came back in to tell me what was the outcome! Not professional at all! He just left a customer hanging! I am not happy at all about this! I initially put this is a one star, but they called me and we worked everything out and they gave me some compensation for my bad service. I appreciated them to call back and follow up and hopefully get this rectified in the next week or two. I am now changing my star rating to a five.
