Came out during the holidays and got me back to cooking and even helped me find the best deal on a cooktop.

Service was quick and superior! I highly recommend this company for your appliance repair needs.

I’ve used this company for my appliances for years and I’ve never had an issue.
Thank you for all you do HCAR!! -
Had an appointment set up through Sears warranty, no call, no show. Called them, no answer. Clearly no consideration for customers. Horrible

Very professional and courteous. Fixed my problem. Home office kept me updated on appointment and arrival. Will definitely call them if I have repairs needed.

I contacted my home owner insurance company about our microwave not working in 2021. The microwave is an attachment to the stove. This company claimed they fixed the problem when they did not. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this company.

My Samsung washer was getting out of balance and shacking real bad. Harris City. Appliance came out and the washer did not get repaired but they made everything right for me.

My Whirlpool oven display was frozen with an hourglass symbol and my Whirlpool dishwasher cannot turn on. Harris County Appliance Repair technicians looked at them and told me this was caused by control board failure and asked me order control boards. THIS WAS TOTALLY MISLEADING. When I received the control boards and replaced the old ones, I still had the same problem. I had another professional (not Harrison County Appliance Repair) to look at this, and he found the old control boards are actually functioning well. He figure out the oven had a software issue that need to refresh the cache, while the dishwasher had a broken circuit somewhere. The issue can be resolved without ordering any parts.
I feel like this was not a super difficult issue if their technicians had been running a diagnose carefully. But Harrison County Appliance Repair made this very frustrating and complicated. I am very disappointed that I paid $90 service fee and couple of weeks for a completely distractive instruction from them, not to mention the hours I spent to order and return the control boards. -
Nov, 2023 Harris County Appliance was assigned via American HomeShield to repair my ice maker. The 1st technician determined it was the solenoid. He came back to install the part and we thought everything was fixed. In a few days ice began to form in the freezer and it was making very loud sounds as if it was about to break down. Harris County sent 2 different technicians to look into the problem and they determined the 1st technician did not put the part that guides the water to the ice tray back on correctly after installing the solenoid and reinstalling the ice maker. This caused water to go all over the freezer resulting in extreme ice build up. These technicians unthawed the freezer with a blow dryer and thought that would solve the problem. Within a couple of days the temperature on the freezer and fridge began to drop and no ice being made. We contacted Harris County Appliance and was told they had closed everything out and would not come back out. We've contacted American Homeshield and they continue to assign Harris County Appliance to come back out but they continue to say there's nothing else they can do eventhough it was their technician that screwed up a simple repair. Now we have a bigger problem than when we started this. Just recieved another notification from AHS that Harris County Appliance was assigned. How is it their technician screwed up but they dont feel responsible to make it right.

Top notch in customer service. Lexie and Beth were so kind and very helpful. The gentleman that repaired my refrigerator was also top notch.
I would rate Harris County Appliance a 10/10. 😊
You will not be disappointed using them for your appliance repairs. -
Harris County appliance Repair was contracted to replace my refrigerator door that was dented during shipment. This is a terrible company and absolutely terrible customer service. I spoke with Beth and Lexi trying to resolve my scheduling issues. Both of them are the worst at customer service. Lexi hung up the phone on me and refused to tell me who owned the company or who she worked for. I will never use or refer this terrible company to anyone. This company will only come to my area on Tuesday or Thursday which is convenient for them. I was off on Friday and they would not schedule the install. I was also charged $45 because they didn't call me when the Technician was an hour out. I work 30 minutes from home and could not make it there to meet the installer. I am requesting another company to install my door. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY, please get this word out to everyone. Thank

The two guys that came to fix my icemaker were great, very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They checked it out and told us what was the issue, ordered the parts that they needed which arrived promptly and came back to finish the repair. They were always on time, communicated well and now we have ice again. Great experience all around! Will definitely recommend them, and use them again if I should have the need to.

I have had them come out three times to fix my washing machine. Although after two visits they replaced the broken part the washer now spills water into my floor every single time I do laundry. After calling again o was told that I would have to pay again for them to come out. And all the the ladies in the office are extremely rude. They will no longer get my business nor will I refer them to anyone. As a small business owner myself I do not understand how they stay in business with such terrible customer service.

Harris County appliance Repair was contracted to replace my washer that my insurance referred me to. This is a terrible company and absolutely terrible customer service. I spoke with Beth very very very rude trying to resolve my concern scheduling the issues with my washer. She is the worst at customer service. She told me that she was the owner but if so she needs to close her business because she doesn’t know how to run a business at all. I will never use or refer this terrible company to anyone and I cancel my appointment with them and had ARW refer me somewhere else. I’m paying y’all to fix the problem so at this point don’t worry about me calling y’all.

$200+ to have my oven and stovetop in the exact same state as they were before. But, hey, at least the service was bad!

My first issue was scheduling, the company is only willing to set a time period for their tech to come out - in my case the time period was any time between 8am and 4pm, which as an insanely long amount of time. They refused to give any more than 30 minutes of a warning prior to the tech coming out, and the tech would only stay for a few minutes to wait if I was not home in time.
This creates multiple issues, first being that if I wanted to ensure I was there for the tech, I would have to take an entire day off work in order to wait around for him to appear and diagnose the issue with my washer.
2. If I did decide to go to work to make money to feed my family, I would need to be able to leave at the drop of a hat in order to be there within the 30 minute warning they give me.
I chose option 2. I warned my boss I was at the whim of my appliance repair company and I would not be able to complete me work for the day when they chose to call me.
When the time came and they called me, I left work immediately. It is a 28minute drive to my front door. About 3 minutes before I pulled up, the tech was ringing my video doorbell and letting us know he was here - in which my wife answered and let him know I was a few minutes out.
I pulled up no less than 3 minutes later to the tech already backing out of my driveway trying to leave. The absolute insane notion that I could be there when they wanted me there almost kept me from getting the work I asked for, and I am willing to bet that tech would still get paid for his time.
Next issue, the tech came in, spent about 10 minutes "diagnosing" my washer, and then informed me that they would have to order parts and they would contact me to reschedule to come fix my washer.
That was two weeks ago. I have heard nothing. My washer is still not working.
I ended up having to go buy an entirely new washer so I could stop taking my laundry to the nearest laundromat and paying 15 dollars every time I wanted to do a load.
My wife and I work for a living and dont have time to leave our house to do laundry at a facility when we have a perfectly good laundry room. Harris County Appliances was supposed to help us get back on track, but instead they took my $75 appointment fee and disappeared.
I would never recommend doing business with this company, nor will I ever utilize them again.
On top of all that, everyone who answered their phones when I spoke to them have 0 customer service skills and came off extremely rude. -
Service member living in Midland. Our dryer gave us issues, figured we’d need a new one. Harris Appliance came to the rescue and saved my wallet. They are a stand up business, fair and ethical. Thank yall for the repair and for your services.
