Very respectful and surprisingly quick in completing our installs. I would highly recommend both Mr Electric and Marvin Lewis.

Lamont was very friendly and eager to make me happy with his work. My wife and I are very happy with the overhead kitchen light that he installed for us.

Josh installed the fan on our screen porch. He was very professional and on time. I could not ask for a better experience. Mr Electric is highly recommended.

Update 5/21/22 (from 1 to 3 stars): The branch manager reached out shortly after seeing my review. He then came out and saw the work and we discussed the issues. We rescheduled a return visit to correct an error and it was taken care of promptly and courteously.

We contacted the company about wiring the electric part of our newly installed generator. We chose them, because their website said they were experienced and licensed generator installers. They scheduled someone to come by 2 business days later (a Tuesday), but no one showed. When we called them, they said the person had an emergency and rescheduled for 2 days later (a Thursday). I was miffed that they failed to communicate the issue without us calling them first.

Someone came out on Thursday, the second appointment, and gave us a quote and said it would take 2 hours from start to finish. The price and time allotment was acceptable and we proceeded to schedule the install.

Two weeks later the installation was to begin on a Monday at 10a. The person showed at 11, read the manual and left. Said he needed to go to Home Depot for parts. While he was gone, the office called to tell us that they needed to pull a permit and have the electric company come cut power, but the power company couldn't come out for 2 weeks. What??

The electrician came back around 1:30p and started installing what he could before the electric company came. By this time it was pouring rain. Around 4p he left to take his partner home, who'd gotten sick. The "2 hour install" was not complete. He came back and worked 2 more days to finish the "2 hour install". On the 3rd day around noon, he told us he'd have to cut the power for 15 minutes, that he didn't need the electric company after all. It was off for 2 hours, and I couldn't work.

When the "installation" was complete he left, and took the owners manual with him. He did not turn it on and set it up to run. We spent the next week reaching out to him and the Douglasville branch trying to get him back out to finish setting it up and to get the manual back from him. We went so far as to call corporate. They took our information and we never heard from corporate again, after being told they'd call back in 48 hours.

One week from when he "finished", he showed. He tried to finish setting it up, and install a nut he missed. While I was working and he needed information about our Wi-Fi. I provided the information and it was obvious he didn't have inkling what he was doing. The instructions asked for information on the generator, not my wifi. He couldn't find the information. Told me to call Generac and get it! Said he'd come back and finish. He didn't have the bolt, nor knew what he was looking for. Said he'd install the bolt when he came back AGAIN.

I called Generac and got the information, which was on the generator behind a panel. With the owners manual in hand, I finished the install myself. We found the bolt closet to the box he installed.

I do NOT recommend this company. They cannot communicate, do not have experienced installers, nor do they know what they're doing. I question if it's wired correctly...

Imagine living in a house with your family while fire can be a menace each day. Well, Mr. Electric was instrumental to resolve our electrical issues when we called upon them. The company gave us an appointment, showed up, and took their time patiently to inspect our house with all the defaulted switches. Then they fixed our electrical issues within the same day. In my opinion, they are the best as what they do. I am so happy that I had them coming to my house to fix my problem. Thank you so much Mr. Electric!!!

This was the worst experience I have ever experienced with a company that was hired to do a job. First, I get quoted a price that was then changed after they realized what they really had to do. That's fine, the house is older and we understood. Then the electrician that came in to start on the job, apparently did not know what he was doing. Upon inspection of the job that they did, the inspector  realized that most of everything that was done was not completely up to code. Another group came in afterwards and basically were questioning everything that was done. We then learned that the main technician was let go because of it. Basically a job that was supposed to be done within 3 days maximum, took 2 months. The electrician kept giving us excuses as to why it was so delayed. Frankly, I do not care about excuses just resolutions. When it was time to patch the holes that were unnecessary, we kept being told that they normally do not do that.  They are the ones who messed up and so they are the ones who should fix the issues. As compensation,  we barely got 5% off after we were"reimbursed" for the gas we spent on the generator.  The good thing about this company is that they were nice people and nice enough to lend us a generator. We were never provided receipts from the payments made.  The bad thing about this company, is that they are clueless about rewiring a house.  I'm sure they are great with small electrical installs but not a big house project. Leland was great and very respectful. Hopefully one day, he will have his own business.

The service provided was great. No complaints - the electrician provided clear diagnosis of the issue and addressed the problem in a timely manner. He was friendly and wore a mask and I appreciate the company’s quick response to my request. Would definitely recommend

Excellent service; Jalen was the technician. He came out and gave a reasonable estimate, and arrived on-time to install an exterior outlet…didn’t drill a single hole in the drywall. Very pleased with the work and his professionalism.

I just bought a new home and it had a few quirks especially when it came to the electricity. I gave Mr. Electric a call and let’s just start by saying the customer service was great. Booking an appointment was so easy. They came by the next morning and offered a free home safety check and broke down everything that needed to be done and then provided the best option for me. I most definitely plan on giving them a call back to finish some additional work. I even signed up for their membership that gives me 15% each call so that’s a win in my book.

I've used Mr. Electric of Douglasville twice. Both instances I spoke with Lamont and he was the technician that replaced my outlets. Lamont was forthcoming about price, knowledgeable, on-time, and happily answered my many questions. Overall excellent service and will use again.

Mr. Electric of Douglasville is timely, honest, and skilled. When another electrician company left me without power and with a 10k estimate to fix the problem late on a Saturday afternoon, Mr. Electric jumped to my aid. A technician arrived within 10 minutes to confirm my suspicion that another company had tried to rip me off. He worked late into Saturday, all day Sunday, and powered through Monday to make sure that I could have power by Monday night. He even secured an inspection for us to confirm that everything had been fixed properly. He did all of this with kindness and grace and for less than a fifth of what we were quoted by the other business. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Mr. Electric of Douglasville. I highly recommend them to anyone who will listen and I will gladly use them again.

I had a wonderful experience with Mr. Electric. Fast, reliable, friendly, I could go on and on! ...Casey was my technician and he was very knowledgeable and works fast....but let me tell you about Malena in their office! She is the best part of the experience. She was super helpful; answered all of my questions. She made sure I was left with no surprises! Did everything in her power to make sure all of my concerns were address as this was my first time ever having to work with an electrician. I will call on them first from now on! Thank you!
