One of the most professional companies I have every used, I originally chose them because of price but was extremely impressed from start to finish. I was extremely impressed with knowledge and professionalism. I highly recommend them for any tree job.

Almost two weeks since receiving and quickly accepting the price they quoted me, they still have not confirmed a date to schedule the tree removal. I’ve been told “will let you know” since June 18th. At least in almost two weeks I should receive a date whether soon or future date for when I can have my appointment to remove the tree. Apparently my business isn’t wanted so I’ll be going with another company.

It was the best choice I ever made to contact 9 Oak Tree Services after receiving a fantastic recommendation. Professionals, Nick and his staff provide excellent services. They were tidy, punctual, and had good communication skills. The cost was also affordable for me! Without a doubt, I'll recommend and use them again.

Original post at 3 stars: Let me preface this by saying I have used several different tree services in the past and 9 Oak offered a competitive price and did great work with the job I hired them for. Now to the problem. The reason I hired 9 Oak was because I have some new sod that had been laid last year and I did not want is destroyed. That is one of the things listed on their web site and they assured me that if we waited for some dry weather it would be fine. My job was rescheduled 4 times, over a 2 month span due to rain, better than tearing up my lawn. On the day of the 4 reschedule it was raining. I fully expected it to be canceled again but they show up in the rain. I did voice my concerns over the sod. Once again, I was told it should be good. It was not. There was mud and tread tracks all through that portion of the yard. I am not sure what upset me the most. That they claim to care about your yard but do not or that this job had to be rescheduled so many times to end up with the same result.

Update: Moving them up to 5 stars. A representative of the company came out and took a look at the problem. Even though they were not obligated to do anything they agreed to supply some sod to take care the torn up area.

Second time using these guys and once again they did an outstanding job.
They arrived when they said they would and performed an all day job with no collateral damage and excellent clean up.
I would surely recommend them as your first call.

I contacted 9 Oak after seeing them working near our house a couple of times. Their price was absolutely amazing I was pleasantly surprised when Nick told me how much it would be to take down two large trees and prune a few more. They did a wonderful job and clean up. We will definitely be calling them again when we are ready to clear more trees and limbs.

I had a great experience using 9 Oaks. They did what they said, worked hard, cleaned up after themselves, were professional and easy to talk to. - I knew this would be in the thousands of dollars so I wanted 3 bids. I called three companies, and almost went with one of them, but I just was not thrilled with any of them so I decided to just look up the closest company with the most 5 star reviews just to compare. I called 9 Oaks, and when they came out to give a quote, I knew I wanted to go with them if I could afford it. Thankfully the price was good, and professionalism was on a level far above all the others. I had a confident feeling I could trust them, I committed on the spot, they came and performed the work as expected, or better, and I was sold on who I would use for future work. I've already mentioned their name to several folks, knowing it was a name I could give out with confidence that I'm helping someone else cut through mess of unprofessional, icky feeling experiences with other people.

We had 9 Oaks come today and are extremely happy with their work. They took down six trees for us, plus a lot of dead overhanging branches. They were a great team with all of them constantly working and they did an amazing job with the clean up, including blowing off our roof.

This was the second time I hired 9Oak for the "all day rate". The first time the had open spaces to work in and the crew cut considerable more trees than I expected I would get for the day. The second tome they had to work in very tight quarters and still out performed my expectations. I highly recommend them.

Good communication. Competitive quote. Showed up when scheduled. Dropped a large oak next to my house and a number of Cypress trees. Cleaned up again. Second time using these folks and have recommended them to others.

Working with Nick and his crew was very pleasant. Communication was excellent, and all of the work was completed very quickly with minimal damage to my yard. Good tree service isn't cheap but I certainly feel I got my monies worth with 9Oak Tree Service. I plan on using them again in the near future.

I am providing 9 Oaks with a two-star review. The basis for this rating stems from the series of interactions my partner and I had with tree cutting companies. Our engagement with Nic was marked by his convincing portrayal of the capabilities of himself and his team. Given our property's extensive greenery that spanned from the front to the rear, we were intrigued. Nic demonstrated a profound understanding of the procedures involved, aligning well with our expectations.

However, the actual service experience on August 15, 2023, gave rise to concerns. Despite Nic's assurance of a six-person crew, only three members were initially present for a span of two hours, followed by the arrival of the remaining three. Our initial discussions with Nic had set the stage for the removal of our substantial front-facing trees, the line of trees on the side to extend our property boundary, and a tree within the backyard. Regrettably, this scope evolved upon the arrival of Will, who conveyed the infeasibility of servicing the backyard—a concession we accepted.

Objective camera footage verifies that the three front trees were felled commendably, warranting no grievances. Yet, on the side of the house, merely two trees in the center were removed, leaving others untouched. This action was executed without prior notification or any follow-up arrangement for completion, which I find untenable.

My partner's attempts to engage Nic through emails and calls have been met with silence, in stark contrast to Nic's prompt responsiveness prior to the project's commencement. This shift in communication reflects a level of unprofessionalism. It is pertinent to note that Nic's persuasive pitch led us to entrust him with our project, making the current outcome disappointing.

It is disheartening that, in response, Nic's proposal includes a deduction of only $500 from the total cost. This offer feels inadequate given the circumstances. Consequently, we are left with no recourse but to engage another entity to finalize the job. This situation underscores the disappointment following our anticipation of a comprehensive and well-executed project.

Always an excellent job by 9 Oak Tree Service. No tell tale sign they had been here other than my trees were trimmed to perfection. I highly recommend them! Thank you Nick and crew!

Nick was very kind. He and his crew were all attentive to our property and kept a clean and organized operation. Their price was good and fair. I would call them again for future tree work.

Update to me previous review:
I initially gave this company 5 stars after a great first experience—they were prompt, professional, and did excellent work cutting down a tree on my property. Based on that, I reached out again for additional work, expecting the same level of service.

Unfortunately, the follow-up has been disappointing. Despite multiple calls over several months and repeated promises to get back to me, I never received a single follow-up or scheduling confirmation. I understand things get busy, but consistent ghosting after clear interest and communication isn’t acceptable.

I’m updating my review to 3 stars to reflect the full experience. The quality of their work is solid, but reliability and follow-through matter just as much—especially when you’re trying to build a long-term service relationship.

I guess I’ll call someone else.

Quick follow-up for those reading: After I updated my review, 9 Oak reached out and offered to make things right. It’s not often you see a company take full responsibility for a misstep and genuinely work to correct it. I have a lot of respect for that. Mistakes are part of life—but what matters is how you respond. 9 Oak showed real integrity, and I wish more businesses followed their example.

I absolutely agree with all the other 5-star reviews I see posted here about 9 Oak. Great professionalism, great people along with an excellent price. Will definitely call them back if I have a future need.

If you are in the market for professional tree trimming and or removal look no further. Nick and his team of professional have again exceeded expectations. Will, Scott, Levi, John and Armon arrived on time with all the right equipment to do the job and once again professionally removed a dozen or so trees (some very close to the house) with perfection. When I say trees I’m talking big ones that take pro axmen to drop with precision. Cleanup above and beyond. Lots of hustle and hard work throughout my half days labor. Couldn’t be happier with 9 Oaks service. Thank you Nick, Will & team!!

Outstanding service, prompt and completed task exactly as I requested. Checked with me throughout the process to ensure they focused exactly on the areas I was most concerned with.

Had a very large oak tree, around 80-100 years old, litterally next to my house, about 8-10 inches away from the roof that was dying. They came out, and actually tied off and cut piece by piece, swinging the pieces over and onto the ground. It was incredible to watch. They ground up all the pieces, left the yard clear, even left a bunch of pieces at my request for firewood and woodworking projects. Tree was alot worse then I realized. Absolutely recommened. It cost me $4500 which sounds high for one tree, but it was absolutely worth the cost because one, they are actually insured, which many services lie about are are not. And there was no way to simply cut the tree down safely without hitting power lines, my house, or the neighbors house. They had to cut each and every piece by hand, and lower each and every piece of this massive tree. It also didn't help that, in my pictures, you can see a bunch of tires on the ground, that was to mark out where my septic tank is. They even had to deal with that, which made the job alot harder for them, but they handled it like the bosses they are. Will 100% use them again in the future for several more trees I need to come down.

I was very impressed and please with the process with the 9 Oak team. They were prompt in their quote, scheduling, and work. I was thoroughly pleased with the work and the quality of work they did and would highly recommend using them for any and all of your tree needs. A great experience.

Will and his crew did a fantastic job with the 4 large oaks in front of my house. They were very professional and they cleaned up so well that you cant even tell that the work was done, except for the fact that the trees missing!
